The Bad Girl's Quick Transmigration System: Traveling Back and Forth
Chapter 250: Xiao Mingyue Resurrects Liya and Liya Massacres the City
The enemy paraded Liya through the streets for nearly two hours before taking her back to the prison. The soldiers then insulted her naked body and prepared to hang it for public display. They dragged her to the edge of the city wall, intending to skewer her with a spear. Just as they were about to skewer her and pierce her vagina with the spear, a strong wind blew, chilling the soldiers. When they looked again, Liya's body was gone. It turned out I had sneaked in and stolen her body. By the time the soldiers discovered me, I had already been more than a mile out of the city. They couldn't catch up; after all, no one's Qinggong skills could reach the level of the Heavenly Realm.
I quickly found a roadside cave, secretly thanking myself for the opportunity. I carefully laid Leah on the ground, quickly retrieved the resurrection potion, and gently fed it to her. Then, I carefully applied the topical medication to her wounds, hoping it would alleviate her pain.
After completing this, I breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a tinge of satisfaction. The previous system rescue mission had been successfully completed, improving my skills, including the Resurrection Potion. I couldn't help but think of Yu Shanshan's situation last time: the Resurrection Potion lost its effect after more than two hours. This time, after the system upgrade, it seemed like a day or two wouldn't matter.
Soon, Liya's eyelids began to tremble slightly. I watched her nervously, hoping she would wake up. Finally, she slowly opened her eyes and looked at me with a confused look. When she recognized me, her face lit up with emotion, tears welling up in her eyes. (Liya had been one of the few soldiers who survived Yu Shanshan's previous rescues, so she had seen me before.)
"Thank you, Sister Xiao!" Liya's voice was a little hoarse, but full of gratitude. She held my hand tightly, as if she was afraid that I would leave.
I patted her hand gently and comforted her, "I'm glad you're okay, Leah." Seeing her gradually recovering, my heart was filled with joy.
Liya sat up, looked around, and then her eyes fell on her wound. She frowned, as if she was still in some pain, but she tried not to show it.
"I'm fine now, Sister Xiao." Liya said with a smile, "Thanks to you this time, I was able to survive."
I couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration as I watched her fortitude. Leah was a brave young general who had endured countless hardships on the battlefield, yet she never gave up. This accident only deepened my understanding of her resilience and perseverance.
For the next few days, Liya and I rested together in the cave, waiting for her to fully recover. We talked a lot about past experiences and future plans. Liya told me that she hoped to continue serving the court and protecting the people.
I am moved by her ideals and impressed by her courage and determination. I believe that with her efforts, she will be able to achieve her goals and become an even more outstanding female general.
A few days later, Liya's body had fully recovered. She clenched her fists, her eyes blazing with hatred. "Sister Xiao, I'd be a traitor if I didn't avenge this. I'll make those beasts pay with blood." I nodded in agreement. Liya rejoined her unit, along with her brigade commander, Suna. Under cover of night, they led their troops to the enemy city. The enemy, having recently won a victory, having killed the young general, had let down their guard. Suna gave the command, and the troops rushed into the city like a tiger descending from a mountain. The shouts of killing shook the air, the flames of revenge blazing. The enemy troops, before they could mount a meaningful resistance, were utterly decimated and their armor and weapons abandoned. Liya wielded her longsword, each strike brimming with hatred. Suna, not to be outdone, unwaveringly fired her arrows. Soldiers who had wronged Liya fell one after another, pleading for mercy, but Liya remained unmoved. Ultimately, the enemy army was utterly annihilated, and the civilians within were slaughtered by Liya and her men. Leah stood on the city wall, looking at the corpses strewn across the city. She breathed a sigh of relief, as if releasing all the resentment she had felt. She turned to Suna and me and said, "Thank you for accompanying me in my revenge. We will always be good sisters." (Massacre of prisoners and civilians was forbidden by military law, but we helped her massacre the city for her!)
