Traveling through thousands of years, I only love you

Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi heard that there was a mysterious ancient village on the outskirts of the city, which was said to retain many ancient buildings and traditional customs. The two decided to go there together to explore.

They drove to the entrance of the ancient village. Li Lingyuan couldn't wait to open the car door and looked at the scene before him excitedly. The ancient stone road wound forward, and on both sides were quaint wooden houses, with smoke rising from the chimneys.

"Xiao Yi, this place feels so special!" Li Lingyuan said, taking Xiao Yi's hand and walking inside.

Xiao Yi smiled and followed her pace, "Yeah, be careful not to run too fast and fall."

Walking into the village, an old man was sitting in front of the door weaving a bamboo basket. Li Lingyuan curiously went over to watch, "Grandpa, your craft is amazing!" The old man raised his head and showed a kind smile, "Does the little girl like it?" Xiao Yi watched Li Lingyuan talking to the old man quietly, his eyes full of tenderness.

Continuing forward, they came across a traditional dyeing workshop. Li Lingyuan was captivated by the colorful dyed fabrics. She reached out and gently touched the fabrics, "Xiao Yi, these fabrics are so beautiful." Xiao Yi walked behind her and hugged her. "Yeah, but not as beautiful as you." Li Lingyuan patted his hand coquettishly, "You're just sweet-talking."

In the village square, a group of children were playing. Li Lingyuan ran over and joined them in skipping rubber rope, her laughter clear and melodious. Xiao Yi, on the other hand, watched her with a smile, his eyes never leaving her.

Tired of playing, the two walked into a teahouse. Li Lingyuan picked up the teacup and took a sip. "Xiao Yi, this tea tastes really good." Xiao Yi looked at her satisfied expression and said, "If you like it, we can take some back."

After leaving the teahouse, they came to an ancient temple. Li Lingyuan clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and made a wish. Xiao Yi stood quietly beside her, silently thinking in his heart that he would protect her forever.

In the evening, they found a guesthouse to stay in. The room was simply decorated but cozy. Li Lingyuan sat by the window, looking at the sunset outside. Xiao Yi hugged her from behind, "What are you thinking about?" Li Lingyuan leaned into his arms, "I'm thinking, how nice it would be if I could always be with you like this." Xiao Yi kissed her hair, "Yes, forever."

Dinner was a local specialty prepared by the B&B owner, and Li Lingyuan ate it with gusto. "Xiao Yi, you should eat more too." She kept serving food to Xiao Yi.

After dinner, they took a walk in the village. Moonlight shone on the stone road, and Li Lingyuan's hand naturally held Xiao Yi's arm.

"Xiao Yi, I'm really happy today." Li Lingyuan said.

"As long as you are happy, I am happy." Xiao Yi responded.

Suddenly, Li Lingyuan stopped and turned to face Xiao Yi.

"Xiao Yi, I want to kiss you." After saying that, she stood on tiptoe and gently kissed Xiao Yi on the lips.

Xiao Yi hugged her and deepened the kiss.

As the night deepened, the two returned to the B&B hand in hand and fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next day, they were awakened by the crowing of a rooster. Li Lingyuan stretched and said, "Xiao Yi, let's go for a walk again."

Xiao Yi nodded, "Okay."

They came to the hillside behind the village, where wild flowers were blooming all over the mountain. Li Lingyuan ran into the flowers and said, "Xiao Yi, come and take a picture for me." Xiao Yi picked up her phone and recorded her beautiful moment.

At noon, they had a picnic under a big tree. Li Lingyuan lay on Xiao Yi's legs, "Xiao Yi, I don't want to go back." Xiao Yi stroked her hair, "Then let's stay here for a few more days."

During the few days in the ancient village, they felt the tranquility and beauty of this place together, and their feelings became deeper.

After returning to the city, their life remained sweet.

One day, Li Lingyuan came home from get off work and saw Xiao Yi busy in the kitchen. She quietly walked behind Xiao Yi and blindfolded him, "Guess who I am?"

Xiao Yi smiled and said, "Who else could it be except you, a little naughty boy?"

Li Lingyuan let go of his hand, "Humph, this is not fun at all."

Xiao Yi turned around and kissed her forehead, "The meal will be ready soon."

After dinner, the two of them snuggled up on the sofa to watch a movie. Li Lingyuan leaned on Xiao Yi's arms and fell asleep unknowingly. Xiao Yi gently carried her into the bedroom, covered her with a quilt, and then sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her sleeping face, with a smile on his face.

On weekends, they went to the park to row a boat. Li Lingyuan took the oar, but couldn't row properly. Xiao Yi took it with a smile and said, "Let me do it."

Li Lingyuan sat at the bow of the boat, enjoying the breeze on his face.

"Xiao Yi, you are so nice." she said.

Xiao Yi looked at her and said, "Because you are worth it."

As the days go by, their love grows deeper in ordinary life.

Once, Li Lingyuan fell ill, and Xiao Yi stayed by her bedside all night without sleeping.

"Xiao Yi, go to sleep for a while." Li Lingyuan said with concern.

Xiao Yi held her hand and said, "I'm not tired. I just want you to get better soon."

Li Lingyuan was so moved that she cried, "With you here, I will definitely get better."

After recovering, Li Lingyuan decided to give Xiao Yi a surprise. She carefully prepared a candlelight dinner. When Xiao Yi returned home, he was deeply moved by what he saw.
