Xiao Yi and Li Lingyuan arrived at a large indoor botanical garden. As they stepped beneath the glass dome, a humid, hot air, mingled with the rich fragrance of plants, washed over them. In the evening, they arrived at an open-air music restaurant. In the center of the restaurant stood a small stage, where a singer played soothing love songs. Xiao Yi pulled out a chair for Li Lingyuan and waited for her to sit down before taking his own. He summoned a waiter and ordered a few signature dishes and a bottle of red wine.
