"The Imperial Master of Rain?" Almost instantly, the only person Alvin could think of was Saya, but he didn't know that Saya had this ability besides being able to transform into a human.

"Yes, his Excellency says he is waiting for you in this room."

Alvin entered the council chamber and saw that the man was not inside.

He pursed his lips. Was this... a trick? After walking around, he found that there was a sinking spot on the couch.

When I got to it, I found that it was a small ball of fur curled up together!

"Saya."

It seems that he is sleeping very soundly.

Alvin just stood there and looked at the little fluffy ball.

He poked it with his finger and it was soft and warm.

He sat down next to Saya, and because of the weight of one more person on the couch, the little ball of fur slid directly to his thigh.

The little fur ball turned over, perhaps feeling the heat, and stepped to the side with its paw. Alwin raised an eyebrow and stroked the fox's fur along its spine.

Then a thin gurgling sound came from his throat, and then he turned his head and rested it on the outside of Alvin's thigh and continued to sleep.

Alvin felt the rhythmic rise and fall of his breathing and the small weight on his legs.

He tapped the tip of the fox's nose with his finger. Hmm, it looked like the kitten he raised when he was a child.

He picked up the unfinished book on the table, opened the page where he had bookmarked it, and began to flip through it gently.

The moon outside the window rose into the night sky, and the book was turned to the last page.

Seeing that the fox was still motionless, Alvin became suspicious. Wouldn't the fox feel dizzy after sleeping for so long?

Shouldn't we tell him to get up?

Then a big palm covered Saya's head and shook it. Saya felt like his brains were about to be shaken out. Which bastard was shaking his head?

He almost vomited on the man and swung his claws at him.

Alvin silently looked at the wound on his arm where the skin and flesh had turned inside out.

Quite fierce.

Saya suddenly realized something and her eyes flew open, her deep blue pupils still filled with mist from waking up.

Who am I and where am I.

The fox was slightly stunned when he smelled a faint smell of blood.

"I...did I catch you?"

When he put his nose to where the smell of blood was strongest, Alvin could only feel the wetness on his arm.

His arm subconsciously took a step back and was held down by Saya's claws.

He raised his head and looked at him, his eyes clear without a trace of impurities.

"My saliva can break down the toxins in my claws."

Alvin tilted his head slightly, feeling the wetness of his arms being licked and the numbness in his pores.

"Do you usually scratch Filbert?"

The fox shook his head. "Not usually. I sometimes catch it when we first sleep together."

"But after that, everyone got used to each other's sleeping habits and that didn't happen anymore."

Saya was relieved to see that the wound had finally healed completely.

"Okay, the wound has healed! Sorry, I'm a restless sleeper, and my body is always in a defensive and attacking state."

She stretched herself and accidentally caught sight of the man's unnatural expression and the slightly red tips of his ears.

Saya quickly jumped off him, with an unnatural look on her face.

"ennnnn...where did you put my house?"

Alvin pushed the loose hair on his forehead back, with a smile on his face.

"It's not set up yet. If you don't mind, you can come to my dormitory for now."

Saya took a few steps back, retreating towards the door.

"No, it's not arranged yet! Actually... I'm more used to sleeping with someone I'm familiar with."

Alvin smiled, not knowing who the fox was at this moment.

"You'll get used to it after sleeping more. Sayana's bed isn't as big as mine."

Saya controlled herself and almost hit him a few more times.

"No, it's nothing! The beds in the palace shouldn't be too small, don't you think, Your Majesty?"

Alvin waved his hand and opened the door for Saya like a gentleman.

"Filbert's palace hasn't been completed yet, so he's temporarily living in the same palace with Lady Anyalida's prince."

Alvin raised his wrist and looked at his watch.

"If I open the palace door again at this hour, I'm afraid it will disturb you."

Elwin smiled and said, "But Lord Saya is our rain-making master, so it's not a big deal if we entertain him more."

How could Saya not understand the little thoughts behind his words?

He tilted his head and said, "It's okay. Just tell me his location. They don't need to open the door. I won't disturb them."

Elwin raised his eyebrows, "It seems that Lord Saya has his own way."

"Then turn right and walk through the garden where you'll see a small fountain. Then walk southwest of the fountain and you'll see a row of white houses. Then go east and you'll see a rose garden. Then go south and you'll see a blue house. That's it."

Saya slowly withdrew the foot that had just stepped out of the door. "How about Your Majesty give me a ride? It's a long road in the dark night, and I'm afraid I'll get lost and disturb the people at night."

Alvin curled his lips, "My pleasure."

In fact, the lights outside were quite bright, and the neatly arranged street lights cast a warm glow on the ground along the road.

The shadows of the man and the fox were stretched very long by the street lights.

The two of them chatted with each other intermittently.

"Isn't Saya unwilling to be the national teacher?"

"I was just thinking of a way to get into the city, but I happened to encounter some local difficulties, so I used this method to help."

"The king can use whatever titles and positions he wants."

The man nodded. "Saya's act of kindness will surely be widely known among the people. If I were to treat it lightly, I would be the subject of much gossip."

Alwyn saw the fox shake his hind legs and wondered if he was tired.

He squatted down and placed his arms on Saya's chest.

"The journey to the palace is a bit winding. If you feel tired, you can come up and rest for a while."

Saya raised her slightly numb feet, and without any hesitation, she crawled into his arms along his arm.

His feet are really sore from all the traveling these days.

Feeling the movement in his arms, a smile played on Alvin's lips.

"I'm exhausted."

Saya snorted.

"Going to sleep again?"

The little fur ball didn't react.

Alvin shook his head and slowed down his pace, trying not to shake the little thing in his arms.

"Lazy Fox."
