Once, Duke Jing of Jin went to a fortune teller and asked him how long he would live. The fortune teller told him directly that he would not be able to eat the new wheat next year.

Duke Jing of Jin was furious. He thought that the curse was enough to ensure he would live for another year, so he threw the fortune teller into prison.

Later, when the new wheat came in, Duke Jing of Jin was very happy. However, when the wheat rice was served on the table, he suddenly felt bloated and went to the toilet.

After waiting for a long time and not seeing him come out, the attendants went to the toilet and found that he had drowned inside.

"Ha ha ha ha."

"This fortune teller is quite accurate. Could it be that he is behind this?"

Was there wheat at that time?

This story tells us that we need to use a toilet when we go to the bathroom. Look at Empress Dowager Cixi, she even lined her toilet with a layer of dried dates.

Qin Shi Huang was eating dates when he saw the message above. He quickly threw the dates away and prayed in his heart that he would not be the next one.

[The second emperor was Emperor Xiaowu of Jin, Sima Yao, who was suffocated to death by his own concubine.]

Qin Shi Huang and the Han emperors breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, they were skipped over. Otherwise, how could they face all the ministers? Seeing how this emperor died, they would have to have someone always by their side from now on.

Emperor Wu of Jin, Sima Yan, had his hands shaking constantly. So many things had been mentioned on the screen, and so many people had been punished, but nothing good had happened to the Jin Dynasty. The last time it was mentioned was alchemy, and this time it was mentioned as being suffocated to death.

Can these descendants of his be more obedient? They have completely disgraced him, their ancestor.

Sima Yao once got drunk and went to Concubine Zhang's bedroom. Concubine Zhang took the opportunity to ask him what he would do if he grew old and lost his beauty.

This is similar to what happens in later generations when a wife asks if she loves him or not. You can only give one answer. If Sima Yao had said a few sweet words, he would have been in heaven.

[However, Sima Yao directly said that since he was old, he could just replace her with a young and beautiful one, and then slept with her in front of Concubine Zhang. Concubine Zhang was really angry and used the quilt to make him ascend to heaven.]

The two ascensions have different meanings.

Concubine Zhang: Sima Yao, you are such an honest child. Let's reward him with a quilt.

How honest!

Qin Shi Huang laughed heartily. This emperor's death was indeed bizarre. Although his concubines at that time had no power, he would never say so when he spoke.

Even if he didn't suffocate the person to death on the spot, it would be troublesome to hold a grudge in his heart, so he was very nice to everyone around him.

Liu Bang glanced at Lu Zhi. This woman was also a capable person, but they were married for life, so she would not do such a cruel thing to him.

Lu Zhi snorted. She only wanted her son to ascend the throne, and there was no benefit in killing Liu Bang.

Sima Yan felt completely broken. Is this his descendant? How could he speak like that? It was so stupid.

[The third is Emperor Taichang of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Changluo, who died of excessive indulgence within one month of his reign.]

All dynasties before the Ming Dynasty breathed a sigh of relief, but it should be quite common for an emperor to die from excessive indulgence. However, it is indeed a bit difficult to explain why it happened for only one month.

[There are many emperors who died from excessive indulgence, such as Emperor Cheng of Han, Liu Ao, but it is rare to see someone like Zhu Changluo.]

Zhu Changluo was the son of Emperor Wanli, but Wanli disliked him and preferred Prince Fu, born to Consort Zheng. Many issues arose regarding the succession.

However, Zhu Changluo eventually succeeded to the throne. Concubine Zheng presented him with eight beautiful women, and it is said that he favored them all overnight, after which he fell ill.

The imperial physicians of the Ming Dynasty were notorious for their inability to cure illnesses. Later, a minister presented Zhu Changluo with an elixir, but he still died after taking it. This is known as the Red Pill Case, one of the three major criminal cases of the late Ming Dynasty.
