After a brief rest, everyone continued walking deeper into the passage. The passage was filled with a stale, decaying smell, and the ground beneath their feet grew increasingly damp, a sticky sensation on their soles with every step. Water droplets dripped from the walls, making a dripping sound that was particularly clear in the silence of the passage.

Zhang Hao walked in front, sword gripped tightly, vigilantly observing the surroundings. His eyes were as sharp as an eagle, not missing a single movement. The woman followed behind him. The little girl in her arms had fallen asleep. Her face still wore a trace of fatigue, but her eyes were still filled with determination.

Lingyu and the mysterious man walked side by side, their gazes constantly scanning their surroundings. Lingyu's brow furrowed slightly, pondering the various strange phenomena along the way. The mysterious man, on the other hand, wore a solemn expression, his dagger in his hand ready to strike at any moment.

As I was walking, I suddenly heard some strange noises in the passage, like something whispering. The sound seemed to come from far away, yet it seemed to be right next to my ear, erratic and creepy.

"Everyone be careful." Zhang Hao stopped and signaled for silence. He pricked up his ears, trying to discern the source and content of the sound.

The voice became clearer and clearer, as if telling an ancient secret. The voice was low and hoarse, as if carrying endless vicissitudes and sorrow.

"What's that sound?" The woman's voice trembled. She hugged the little girl tightly in her arms, and her body involuntarily moved closer to Zhang Hao.

The mysterious man frowned and said, "I don't know, but it's definitely not a good sign." He tightened his grip on the dagger in his hand and his steps became more cautious.

Ling Yu closed his eyes, trying to sense the source of the sound. Fine beads of sweat oozed from his forehead, and his mind was highly concentrated.

At this moment, a strange light began to flicker on the walls on both sides of the passage, and there seemed to be some blurry images in the light. Those images were looming, as if trying to show something to everyone.

"What's going on?" the old man asked in surprise. He stepped forward to get a better look.

Everyone gathered together, watching the images on the wall. The images seemed to depict ancient rituals and battles. People dressed in strange attire, holding mysterious instruments in their hands, chanting incantations. The battles were incredibly fierce, blood splattered everywhere, and terrifying.

"Could this be the history of the ruins?" Zhang Hao speculated. He stared intently at the image, trying to find some useful clues.

Just as they were about to examine it more closely, the image suddenly vanished, replaced by a powerful suction force. Like an invisible hand, it gripped everyone tightly, preventing them from breaking free.

"No!" Zhang Hao shouted. He tried to resist the suction by stabbing his sword into the ground, but it was all in vain.

Before they could react, they were sucked into an unknown space. In that instant, they felt the world spinning and everything before their eyes was pitch black.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a huge cave. The cave was filled with strangely shaped rocks, some resembling giant mushrooms, others like hideous monsters. There were also some plants emitting faint light, making the cave look like a dream.

"Where is this?" the woman looked around, her heart filled with fear. Her voice echoed in the cave, trembling slightly.

Zhang Hao stood up and brushed off the dust on his body. "No matter where this is, we must find a way out." His voice was firm and powerful, bringing a sense of comfort to everyone.

At this moment, heavy footsteps were heard in the cave. The footsteps were like the trembling of the earth, and every step was terrifying.

"Be careful!" the mysterious man whispered.

Everyone stood back to back, looking vigilantly in the direction where the footsteps came from.

As the footsteps drew closer, a gigantic figure appeared before them. It was a monster the size of a mountain, covered in sharp thorns, and its blood-red eyes radiated a terrifying light.

"What kind of monster is this?" Ling Yu took a breath of cold air.

The monster opened its bloody mouth and roared. The sound waves echoed in the cave, making everyone's ears buzz.

"Get ready for battle!" Zhang Hao shouted loudly.

Everyone displayed their abilities, and a fierce battle was about to begin...
