Zhang Hao frowned, "No matter what it is, we must be prepared to deal with it." His eyes were firm and resolute, and he gripped the sword in his hand tighter, as if it was his only support.

The old man looked around and said, "Everyone, find a place to hide first and observe the situation first." Although his voice was steady, he could not hide his fatigue.

The group found a hidden cave nearby and quickly hid inside. The cave was dark and damp, exuding a stale smell. Everyone hid deep in the cave, not daring to make a sound.

"These armored beasts are not easy to deal with," the mysterious man whispered. His eyes were filled with fear, and his voice was extremely low, for fear that the armored beasts outside would hear.

The little girl was so frightened that she hugged the old man's arm tightly, not daring to make a sound. Her face was pale, her eyes were full of fear, and her body was shaking non-stop.

Lingyu observed the situation outside through the cracks in the cave, "They seem to be looking for something." Her voice was very soft, and her eyes were fixed on the armored beasts outside without blinking.

At this moment, an armored beast seemed to have discovered where everyone was hiding and walked towards the cave, sniffing around with its nose and a fierce gleam in its eyes.

"Oh no, I've been discovered!" Zhang Hao clenched his sword. His heartbeat instantly accelerated and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

The Ironclad Beast arrived in front of the cave and roared, shaking the rubble in the cave. The roar seemed to tear the soul apart and make people tremble with fear.

"Everyone, prepare for battle!" Zhang Hao shouted. His voice echoed in the cave, full of determination.

Everyone picked up their weapons, ready to face the attack of the armored beasts. Everyone's eyes were filled with the courage to face death.

Just as the Iron Beast was about to charge into the cave, a beam of light suddenly descended from the sky and struck it. The light was dazzling, like a flash of lightning across the night sky. The Iron Beast roared in pain and fell to the ground, cracks appearing on its armor.

Everyone looked up in amazement at the sky, only to see a mysterious immortal descending slowly on auspicious clouds. He was dressed in a white robe that fluttered in the wind, like an immortal descending to earth. His face was handsome and kind, and his eyes sparkled with wisdom.

"It's the immortal who came to save us!" the little girl cried excitedly. A smile instantly broke out on her face, and the fear in her eyes was replaced by joy.

The immortal looked at everyone and said, "Don't be alarmed. I came here on my journey and saw that you were in trouble, so I came to help." His voice was gentle and mellow, as if it could soothe the fear and anxiety in everyone's hearts.

Everyone hurriedly thanked the immortal.

The immortal waved his hand and said, "These armored beasts are controlled by an evil force. It is not advisable to stay here for long. I will take you away." After saying that, the immortal waved his sleeves, and a gentle force lifted everyone up.

Everyone felt their bodies lighten as they stepped onto auspicious clouds, following the immortal into the distance. The scenery beneath their feet quickly receded, and the sound of the wind whistled in their ears.

Zhang Hao looked at the immortal, his heart filled with gratitude and admiration. "Thank you for saving us, Immortal. I wonder where you will take us?"

The immortal smiled slightly and said, "I'll take you to a safe place where you can hide from the limelight for a while."
