Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 813: Survival from Desperate Situation (6)

Zhang Hao held Lingyu in his arms, and everyone followed closely behind, desperately rushing towards the exit. More and more rocks fell, as if the entire ruins were pouring out its wrath upon them. Each stone carried a deadly threat as it whizzed past them.

"Hurry! Hurry!" the old man urged from behind, his voice filled with anxiety. His steps were staggering, but his eyes showed a firm desire to survive.

The woman pulled the little girl and took difficult steps. Her clothes were torn, revealing traces of blood, and her face was covered with dust. Her originally beautiful face now looked disheveled.

Zhang Hao gritted his teeth and darted through the rocks. Ling Yu lay unconscious in his arms, a worry that filled him. He stared intently ahead, searching for the safest path.

Just as they were about to reach the exit, a huge stone slab fell from the sky, blocking their way. The stone slab was so thick and heavy that it seemed like an insurmountable mountain.

"What should I do?" The mysterious man looked at the stone slab, his eyes showing a trace of despair. His body was also covered with wounds, and blood stained his clothes red.

Zhang Hao handed Lingyu to the old man, "Everyone work together to push it away!" His voice was firm and powerful, as if it could bring endless courage to everyone.

Everyone nodded, pushing the slab with all their might. Pain and perseverance were written all over their faces, their arms trembling with the effort.

"One, two, three, push!" Zhang Hao shouted. Veins popped out of his forehead, and sweat poured down like rain, soaking his clothes.

The stone slab swayed slightly, but remained motionless. The immense weight seemed to mock their powerlessness.

"Hurry harder!" Zhang Hao's voice had become hoarse, but he still refused to give up.

With everyone's unremitting efforts, the stone slab was finally slowly pushed open to create a crack. Although the crack was narrow, it gave them hope of survival.

"Hurry, get out!" Zhang Hao urged, his eyes filled with anxiety.

The woman and the little girl were the first to get out of the gap, followed by the old man holding Lingyu. They moved very carefully, for fear of touching Lingyu's wound.

The mysterious man also slipped out, and Zhang Hao was the last to crawl out of the crevice. The moment he emerged, the ruins behind him completely collapsed, sending up clouds of dust. A massive roar echoed in his ears, terrifying him.

"We finally escaped." Everyone lay on the ground, gasping for breath. Their bodies were exhausted to the extreme, but their hearts were filled with the joy of surviving the disaster.

Zhang Hao hurriedly checked Lingyu's injuries, "How is she?" His voice was full of concern and worry.

The old man shook his head and said, "The situation is not good. We need to find a place to heal her quickly." His face was solemn and his brows were furrowed.

"There seems to be a cave ahead. Let's go there first," the woman said, pointing to a place not far away. Her voice was weak, but her eyes were full of hope.

They supported each other and came to the cave. It was dark and damp, with a pungent smell. But it could temporarily shelter them from the wind and rain, giving them a chance to breathe.

Zhang Hao gently placed Lingyu on the ground and said, "Let's look for herbs that can heal the wound." His voice echoed in the cave.

Everyone immediately dispersed and searched the cave, carefully searching every corner, not letting go of any glimmer of hope.

After a while, the mysterious man found some herbs. "These might be useful." There was a hint of excitement in his voice.

Zhang Hao quickly crushed the herbs and applied them to Lingyu's wound. His movements were gentle and focused, as if he were treating an invaluable treasure.

"I hope she can wake up soon." The little girl prayed beside her. Her eyes were red and her face was still stained with tears.

As time passed, Ling Yu's face gradually regained color. However, she remained unconscious, leaving everyone worried.

"She'll be fine, she'll definitely be fine." Zhang Hao murmured to himself. He stayed by Lingyu's side, not daring to leave for a moment.

Outside the cave, the wind and rain continued. But the people inside were full of hope. They believed that as long as they united, they would be able to overcome this difficult time...
