Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 806 Mysterious Helper

Just as they prepared to fight the monster to the death, a strange sound suddenly echoed from the sky. It was like the sound of nature, clear and melodious, instantly capturing the attention of everyone and the monster. A brilliant light descended from the sky, illuminating the entire dark forest. Within the light, a mysterious figure slowly emerged.

Everyone squinted, straining to see the figure. As the light faded, they saw a woman in a gorgeous robe. She had a graceful figure, a face of stunning beauty yet a touch of coolness. Her long hair cascaded down behind her, shimmering like stars. Her eyebrows were as dark as distant black, her eyes were like autumn water, her nose was straight, and her lips were slightly pursed, revealing an innate noble aura.

The monster actually stopped attacking upon seeing her, staring at her warily and growling. There was a hint of fear in the growl, as if it sensed the woman's powerful strength.

"This beast is under my control. There's no need to panic." The woman's red lips parted, her voice clear and melodious, yet filled with undeniable authority. Her voice seemed to possess a magical power, relaxing everyone's tense nerves a little.

Zhang Hao and the others looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Their faces were still shrouded in shock, their clothes soaked with sweat, and their wounds ached faintly.

The woman danced her hands, forming complex hand seals and muttering something. As she moved, mysterious runes flew towards the monster, tightly binding it. The runes shimmered with a strange light, like chains, firmly locking the monster's limbs and body.

The monster struggled hard, but could not break free from the rune's constraints and could only roar angrily. Its eyes were filled with resentment and anger, and its huge body kept twisting, trying to break free, but it was all in vain.

"This beast has committed countless evil deeds. Today I will subdue it." The woman said this, and a glittering magic weapon appeared in her hand. The magic weapon was like a bright sun, emitting a dazzling light. The magic weapon shot out a strong light, enveloping the monster.

Under the strong light, the monster's body gradually shrank. Its originally mountain-like body became smaller and smaller, and finally turned into a ray of light and was collected into the magic weapon.

The crisis was over, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief, collapsing to the ground. They gasped for breath, as if trying to let out all the air they had been holding.

"Thank you for your help, young lady." Zhang Hao pushed himself up and thanked the woman. His voice was hoarse and weak, but his eyes were filled with sincerity and gratitude.

The woman nodded slightly and said, "You're welcome. I just happened to be passing by." She glanced at the crowd, a hint of concern in her eyes.

"What's your name, young lady?" the old man asked. His face was full of fatigue, but he still maintained proper courtesy.

"You can call me Lingyu," the woman said. Her voice was as clear and melodious as a mountain spring.

"Miss Lingyu, if it weren't for you, we would have died here." The woman's face was filled with gratitude. Tears still welled up in her eyes, and her voice trembled slightly.

Ling Yu smiled lightly, "This place is full of dangers, why are you here?" Her eyes were full of curiosity.

Zhang Hao then told Ling Yu everything about the trials they had gone through. His voice was sometimes low, sometimes passionate, as if he were reliving those difficult times.

After hearing this, Lingyu thought for a moment, "So that's how it is. This place is indeed mysterious." Her brows furrowed slightly, as if she was thinking about something.

"Miss Lingyu, do you know how to leave here?" Zhang Hao asked expectantly. His eyes were filled with longing, as if he had grasped at the last straw.

Ling Yu frowned slightly, "It's not easy to leave here, but I can work with you to find a way out." Although her voice was calm, it gave everyone a glimmer of hope.

When everyone heard this, hope was rekindled in their hearts. Their eyes lit up again, as if they had seen the light of dawn in the darkness.

"That's great!" the herbalist said excitedly. His face was filled with joy, as if he had already seen hope of leaving.

"However, in the process of finding a way out, you may encounter various dangers." Ling Yu reminded.

"We are not afraid! As long as there is a glimmer of hope, we will not give up." Zhang Hao said firmly.

So, under Lingyu's leadership, everyone continued to move forward in this mysterious forest...
