Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 801: Difficult Test (3)

The old man waved his hand gently, and the surrounding mist began to transform, forming a series of bizarre images. These images depicted various dangers and difficulties: a blazing flaming mountain, a raging endless sea, and a dark forest filled with thorns. The flames seemed to sear the soul, the waters seemed to sweep everything into an endless abyss, and the thorns were like sharp fangs, waiting to tear apart any intruder.

"These are the tests you are about to face." The old man's voice echoed in this strange space, carrying an ancient and mysterious rhythm.

Zhang Hao took a deep breath. "No matter what, we won't back down." His gaze was firm, fixed on the images, as if he wanted to engrave every detail in his mind. His posture was as straight as a pine tree. Although the wounds on his body still ached, his will was as firm as a rock.

The woman nodded slightly, "That's right, we have encountered all kinds of difficulties along the way." There was a glint of confidence in her eyes, and the magic wand in her hand also emitted a faint light, as if responding to her inner determination.

The old man smiled slightly and said, "Let's begin." Then he waved his hand again, and the scene around him instantly became real, and everyone was instantly drawn into the first scene - the Flaming Mountain.

The blazing flames rushed towards them, searing their skin. The heat seemed to melt even steel in an instant, and the ground beneath their feet was scorching hot, making every step feel like stepping on a hot pot.

"Everyone be careful!" Zhang Hao shouted. His voice was a little weak amid the roar of the flames, but it was full of strength and concern.

The herbalist was a little panicked, "What should I do? This is simply hell!" His face was full of fear and his steps became staggering.

The mysterious man looked around calmly, "We must find a way to pass." His eyes were as sharp as an eagle, trying to find a way to survive in this chaos.

The old man's voice rang out in the air, "Only after you pass through this flaming mountain can you enter the next test."

Zhang Hao swung his sword, attempting to cleave the flames, but the flames remained unaffected. The sword seemed to have lost its sharp edge in the flames, becoming dim and dull. The woman cast a spell, attempting to create a cool area, but the magic's power quickly depleted in the scorching heat, and the coolness was instantly devoured by the flames.

Just when everyone was at a loss, the little girl suddenly said, "I seem to see a path over there." Her voice was clear and childish, like a ray of hope in this desperate atmosphere.

Everyone looked in the direction the little girl pointed and found a narrow path that wound its way up to the top of the mountain. The path was surrounded by flames and looked very dangerous.

"Perhaps this is our way out," the old man said, his voice filled with encouragement and anticipation.

The group trudged along the path, the heat of the flames growing ever stronger, each step becoming an immense struggle. Zhang Hao's clothes, drenched in sweat, clung to his body, his breathing rapid and heavy. The woman's face was as pale as paper, the excessive consumption of her magical power making it nearly impossible for her to stand, yet she gritted her teeth and persevered. The old man tightly protected the little girl, shielding her from the flames with his own body. His steps were slow, but unwavering. The mysterious man and the herbalist were also panting, their eyes filled with exhaustion, but they held on.

"Hold on!" Zhang Hao encouraged everyone. His voice was hoarse but full of power, inspiring everyone to keep going.

Finally, they reached the top of the mountain, and the scenery before them changed instantly. They were now standing on the turbulent endless sea. The wind howled, stirring up huge waves, which were like moving mountains, rushing towards them.

The wind howled and the waves roared, as if they were going to swallow them completely.

"How...how do we get through?" the herbalist said in despair. His voice was drowned out by the strong wind and waves, barely audible.

The woman gritted her teeth and said, "There must be a way." Her eyes remained firm. Although her heart was filled with fear, she knew she couldn't give up.

At this moment, a dilapidated boat appeared on the sea. The boat was swaying in the waves, as if it would be overturned at any time.

"Is this boat okay?" The mysterious man frowned.

Zhang Hao looked at the small boat and said, "There is no other choice but to give it a try."

Everyone boarded the boat carefully. The boat was tossed and turned by the waves and was in danger of capsizing at any time.
