Rise of the Otherworld.

Everyone walked cautiously toward the passage, each step filled with caution. The passage was filled with a damp and decaying smell, and the sound of water dripping from the walls was particularly clear in the silence. The ground beneath their feet was a little slippery, and if they were not careful, they could fall.

Zhang Hao walked in front, his sword tightly gripped, its blade reflecting a faint light. His eyes were focused and sharp, not missing a single movement. The woman followed closely behind, her magic wand emitting a faint halo, illuminating the path ahead. Her heartbeat was particularly clear in the quiet passage, and her nervousness made her breathing quicken.

The old man held the little girl close and comforted her softly, "Don't be afraid, child, we are here for you." The little girl clung to the old man, a hint of fear still visible in her eyes. Her small hands tightly grasped the corner of the old man's clothes, as if that was her only support.

The mysterious man and the herbalist walked at the end, constantly keeping an eye on the people behind them. The mysterious man's expression was solemn, his weapon tightly gripped, ready to respond to any possible danger. The herbalist's forehead was covered with sweat, and his eyes were filled with anxiety.

The passage seemed endless, and the further in, the more oppressive the feeling grew. The darkness seemed to have substance, suffocating.

"Where on earth does this lead to?" the herbalist couldn't help but mutter. His voice trembled slightly as it echoed in the passage.

"Don't talk, be careful, there's danger." The mysterious man shouted in a low voice. His voice was low and serious, full of warning.

Suddenly, a chilling wind blew, bringing a chill that was bone-chilling, as if it came from the depths of the abyss.

"Everyone, be careful!" Zhang Hao stopped and looked around vigilantly. His voice echoed in the passage, making everyone's nerves tense instantly.

At that moment, several black monsters suddenly jumped out from the shadows on the wall and pounced on them with their fangs and claws bared. These monsters were distorted and their faces were unclear, only pairs of blood-red eyes flashed in the darkness.

"Ah!" the little girl screamed in fear. Her voice was particularly harsh and frightening in the passage.

Zhang Hao reacted quickly, swinging his sword towards the monster. The blade arced through the darkness, emitting a chilling glint. The woman immediately cast a spell, sending beams of light towards the monster. The magical light illuminated the dark passage, making the monster's silhouette even more menacing.

The mysterious man and the old man also joined the battle. For a moment, the passage was filled with flashing lights and shouts of killing. The sounds of weapons clashing with monsters and magic exploding intertwined, creating a chaotic scene.

These monsters were agile and extremely fast, and it took a lot of effort to repel them. Zhang Hao suffered several more wounds, and blood stained his clothes. The woman's magic power was over-depleted, and her face turned as pale as paper.

"Is everyone okay?" Zhang Hao asked loudly, his voice carrying a hint of fatigue, but more of concern.

"It was a close call," the woman gasped, her body trembling slightly as she leaned against the wall for support.

After this battle, everyone advanced more cautiously, each step filled with caution.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, a ray of light finally appeared ahead. The light was faint and warm, and seemed particularly alluring in this dark passage.

"Is this the exit?" the herbalist asked excitedly. His voice was filled with anticipation, and his pace unconsciously quickened.

The crowd quickened their pace, heading towards the light. When they emerged from the passage, they were stunned by the sight before them. Before them lay a vast wasteland, barren and cracked. In the distance rose black mountain peaks, their summits shrouded in black mist. There was no sun in the sky, only a gray haze.

"This...what is this place?" the little girl asked tremblingly.
