Chapter 685 Fatal Blow (2)

After Zhang Hao discovered that the giant beast's eyes might be its weakness, he shouted loudly: "Attack its eyes!" His voice echoed in the valley with determination and firmness.

Upon hearing this, everyone turned their attacks towards the beast's eyes. The woman concentrated, beads of sweat on her forehead. Her hands danced faster and faster, muttering something to herself. A blinding light gathered in her hands, like the breaking light of dawn, and shot straight at the beast's left eye. The light was so bright that it seemed to scorch the air wherever it passed.

The herbalist threw the stick in his hand with all his might towards the giant beast's eyes. His eyes were filled with determination, and the stick, carrying his last hope and courage, flew towards the target with a roar.

The old man quickly drew a powerful spell. His fingers moved with swiftness, and the lines on the spell shone with a mysterious light. As he chanted the spell, his voice was deep and powerful, like a call from an ancient time. The spell transformed into a streak of golden light and rushed towards the beast with lightning speed.

The black-robed figure clasped his hands together, muttering something to himself. His body trembled slightly, evidently mobilizing all his magical energy. A powerful force converged before him, forming a massive sphere. The sphere shone with a faint blue light, and the surrounding space seemed to be warped by its immense power. Then, the sphere blasted towards the beast's right eye, the roar of the wind it stirred like thunder.

The behemoth sensed their intentions and frantically swung its head, attempting to evade the attack. Its massive body twisted, whipping up a gust of wind that uprooted surrounding trees. However, under the dense and precise attacks of the crowd, it was unable to completely avoid them.

The woman's magic first struck the beast's left eye, and it roared in agony, a deafening roar. The sound seemed to pierce the heavens, and the entire valley trembled at the roar. Blood gushed from its left eye like a fountain, splashing onto the ground, instantly staining it red.

Immediately afterwards, the herbalist's wooden stick and the old man's talisman hit the giant beast one after another. Blood flowed from its left eye and its eyeball became blurred.

At this moment, the black-robed man's magic ball accurately hit the beast's right eye. Under the impact of the magic ball, the right eye instantly exploded, and blood and flesh flew everywhere.

The beast, its eyes injured, was instantly enraged. It attacked everything around it, its massive body charging forward. Its claws slammed the ground, sending up huge waves of dirt; its tail shattered boulders wherever it swept.

"Everyone be careful!" Zhang Hao shouted. His voice was drowned out by the beast's roar, but his eyes remained fixed on the beast's movements, ready to respond at any moment.

But the crowd didn't retreat. They huddled together, supporting each other. Taking advantage of the beast's injury and confusion, Zhang Hao seized the opportunity and leaped into the air. His figure, like a nimble eagle, traced a graceful arc through the air. Sword in hand, he thrust with all his might into the beast's eye.

The sword flashed a cold light through the air and accurately pierced the beast's injured left eye. The blade sank into it all the way to the hilt.

The beast let out a shrill cry, its voice filled with pain and despair. Its massive body began to stagger, like a collapsing mountain.

Zhang Hao quickly drew his sword and swung it again at the beast's neck. The blade rubbed against the beast's skin, sending out a string of sparks.

Under the combined attack of everyone, the giant beast finally fell to the ground with a loud bang, stirring up a cloud of dust. The dust flew all over the sky, enveloping everyone.

"We succeeded!" the herbalist shouted excitedly. His voice became hoarse with excitement, and his face was filled with a mixture of joy and exhaustion.

Everyone collapsed to the ground exhausted, gasping for breath. Their bodies had reached their limit, every muscle ached, every breath seemed so difficult.

However, before they could celebrate, a strange sound was heard in the valley again. The sound was low and dull, as if it came from deep underground.

"What is this?" the woman asked in horror, her voice still trembling from the battle.

Zhang Hao forced himself to stand up, gripping his sword tightly. "No matter what, we must be prepared."

The old man gasped and said, "Perhaps there are more dangers waiting for us in this valley."

The black-robed man looked in the direction of the voice, his face solemn, "Everyone be careful, there might be a stronger enemy."

The herbalist swallowed hard, "We just defeated this giant beast, let's not expect another one that's even more difficult to deal with."

As the sound got closer, the ground began to shake slightly. Everyone's mood became tense again, and their nerves, which had just relaxed, were instantly tense again.

Suddenly, a group of ghostly shadows rushed out from the depths of the valley...
