Chapter 634 Escape of Life and Death
Everyone ran desperately as the chamber collapsed, rocks raining down from above and the ground trembling violently. The entire space seemed to be plunged into apocalyptic chaos, with dust so thick that it was almost impossible to see the path ahead.
Zhang Hao clutched the crystal ball tightly in his arms and shouted, "Everyone, speed up!" His voice was drowned out by the roar of the surroundings, but everyone could still tell from his anxious expression how critical the situation was. His eyes were firm and resolute, and each step he took was firm and powerful. Despite the numerous scratches on his body, he seemed to feel no pain.
The woman's steps faltered slightly, her strength nearing its limit, but she gritted her teeth and persevered. "I... I can't run anymore," she panted, her voice dripping with despair and helplessness. Her clothes were tattered, her hair was messy and stuck to her face, and sweat soaked her forehead.
The herbalist grabbed her hand and said, "Don't give up, we can definitely get out!" His eyes were filled with encouragement and determination, and he dragged the woman forward. His arms were throbbing with the effort, and he was breathing heavily, but his pace didn't slow down at all.
The black-robed figure led the way, smashing the rocks blocking his path with his staff. "Follow me!" he shouted, a hint of fatigue in his voice, but he swung his staff even more vigorously. Each swing unleashed a powerful magical force, shattering the rocks before him.
The old man, enduring the pain in his leg, limped along closely behind. His face was pale, but his eyes revealed an unyielding determination. He gritted his teeth, trying not to collapse from the pain.
Suddenly, a huge stone slab fell from the sky and was about to hit everyone.
"Be careful!" Zhang Hao pushed his companion away, but he was hit by the edge of the stone slab and fell to the ground. His body rolled several times on the ground and hit the wall next to him.
"Zhang Hao!" the woman exclaimed, her voice filled with worry and fear.
The others quickly stopped and helped Zhang Hao up.
"I'm fine, let's go!" Zhang Hao ignored the pain in his body and continued to lead everyone forward. A trace of blood flowed from the corner of his mouth, but he just wiped it with his sleeve and started walking again.
At this time, the exit of the secret room was right in front of them, but the passage was blocked tightly by fallen stones.
"What should we do?" the herbalist asked anxiously, with a hint of despair in his voice.
Zhang Hao's eyes were firm: "Let's move these stones together!" His voice was full of strength and determination.
Everyone started working, using their last bit of strength to move the stones. Each stone was incredibly heavy, requiring everyone to work together to move even a little bit. Their fingers were scratched by the stones, and blood stained the stones red, but no one stopped.
Just as they were about to clear the passage, the collapse behind them became more violent and a strong airflow swept over.
"Oh no, it's going to collapse!" shouted the man in black robe, his voice very weak amid the whistling sound of the air flow.
"Everyone, work harder!" Zhang Hao roared, his voice almost squeezed out of his throat.
Finally, thanks to everyone's efforts, the passage was opened. They filed out, and just as they left the secret room, the entire room collapsed completely, raising a cloud of dust.
Everyone collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. Their bodies were exhausted to the extreme, and they seemed like they would faint at any moment.
"I finally escaped." The woman said with lingering fear, her voice trembling and fear still in her eyes.
"But we're not out of danger yet." Zhang Hao stood up and looked around vigilantly. His eyes were still sharp, and he hadn't let down his guard because of his recent escape.
At this moment, a deep roar could be heard from afar. It sounded like the roar of an ancient beast, filled with rage and majesty. The sound echoed through the valley, sending chills down one's spine.
"What is this?" the herbalist asked in horror, his body shaking involuntarily.
Zhang Hao frowned, "I don't know, but we must be prepared."
Everyone struggled to stand up, gripped their weapons tightly, and prepared to face new challenges.
As the roar grew closer, the ground began to tremble again. A gigantic figure appeared in their sight. It was a massive monster, covered in hard scales, its eyes glowing red.
"This...how do we fight this?" the woman said in despair.
Zhang Hao took a deep breath and said, "No matter what, we can't give up!"
The monster rushed towards them, bringing with it a gust of wind...
