Amidst a barrage of arrows, the group desperately rushed towards the mechanism. Zhang Hao swung his sword with all his might, shooting down each one. His movements were swift and agile, the sword colliding with the arrows, sending up countless sparks. But the arrows were so numerous, so dense, like a rain of light, that many still grazed their bodies, leaving scars on their bodies.

"Hurry! We're almost there!" the old man shouted, encouraging everyone. His voice echoed through the passage, filled with eagerness and anticipation. He held his staff tightly in his hand, ready to respond to any emergency.

The black-robed figure cast a protective spell, attempting to slow the arrows and buy them more time. His forehead was covered in sweat, his face pale, but his eyes were determined. The spell's light formed a transparent barrier in front of him, and the arrows collided with it, making a thud.

The herbalist, meanwhile, nimbly moved between the arrows, charging ahead. Despite his small stature, he was incredibly agile, dodging left and right, avoiding one arrow after another.

Finally, the herbalist reached the mechanism first. Without hesitation, he reached out and pressed it. Instantly, the arrows stopped firing, and peace returned to the passage.

"Phew...that was close!" Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily and exhausted.

"Don't play tricks! Come out if you dare!" Zhang Hao shouted. His voice was filled with anger, and he gripped the sword even tighter.

At this moment, a figure slowly emerged from the mist. It was a mysterious man with a distorted face. His face was covered with strange lines, and his eyes were flashing red light.

"All of you intruders will become my prey," the mysterious man said viciously. His voice was hoarse and low, as if it came from hell.

Zhang Hao gripped the sword tightly in his hand, "Let's see if you have the ability!" His eyes were full of desire to fight, and he took a step forward.

The mysterious man waved his hands, and a black energy surged out from his hands and rushed towards everyone.

Zhang Hao was not afraid at all. He faced the black energy with his sword shining in the light.

The man in black robe also cast powerful spells and fought side by side with Zhang Hao.

The old man cast auxiliary spells for them from behind to enhance their strength.

The herbalist was looking for the mysterious man's flaws.
