Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 524 New Changes

As they were discussing these treasures, the ground suddenly began to shake violently. Everyone instantly became alert. Zhang Hao quickly closed the treasure chest and strapped it to his back. His eyes were filled with vigilance, his body tense, ready to respond to any possible danger.

"What's going on?" the herbalist asked in panic, his voice filled with anxiety. His face was pale, his legs were shaking uncontrollably, and his hands were tightly grasping a small tree beside him.

The shaking grew stronger, cracks appeared in the surrounding walls, and sand and rocks began to fall. Large and small rocks fell from overhead, as if the end of the world had come.

"Everyone be careful!" Zhang Hao shouted, his voice resounding over the violent shaking and the clatter of falling rocks.

At this moment, a huge crack spread out beneath their feet. Zhang Hao was quick to grab the herbalist who was about to fall into the crack. His arm muscles bulged, and he pulled the herbalist back with all his strength.

The old man observed the situation around him and said, "It seems that some powerful force is at work." His brows were furrowed, his eyes were deep, and he was trying hard to think of a countermeasure.

The man in black robe gripped his weapon tightly, "No matter what it is, kill one by one!" His eyes burned with fighting fury, and he was fearless.

With a resounding roar, a gigantic rock monster emerged from the ground. Composed entirely of solid rock, its bulk was as massive as a mountain, and every step it took made the ground tremble. Its body was covered in sharp stone spikes, and it exuded a chilling aura.

The monster opened its mouth and spewed out a stream of hot magma. The magma surged like a torrent, and wherever it passed, the grass and trees were instantly reduced to ashes.

Zhang Hao and others dodged quickly, moving as agilely as monkeys.

"This monster is tough to deal with!" Zhang Hao shouted. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he pondered a strategy.

They dispersed, attacking the monster from different directions. Zhang Hao leaped up, slashing at the monster's legs with his sword, only to have it bounce back off its hard rock shell. The powerful recoil numbed his arm, nearly causing the sword to slip from his grasp.

The old man cast a spell, attempting to slow the monster's movements, but it had little effect. His magic flickered on the monster's hard body, but like a weak candlelight, it had no real effect on it.

The black-robed man circled behind the monster and stabbed its back with all his might, leaving only a shallow mark. His breathing became rapid, and a hint of anxiety appeared in his eyes.

The herbalist was searching for the monster's weaknesses. His eyes quickly scanned the monster's body, his brain working rapidly.

"This isn't a solution!" Zhang Hao shouted, a hint of anxiety in his voice.

Just when everyone felt helpless, the herbalist discovered that the monster's eyes seemed to be its weak point. The rock there was relatively soft and there were no stone thorns to protect it.

"Attack its eyes!" the herbalist shouted, his voice shrill with excitement.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Hao and the black-robed man immediately rushed towards the monster's eyes. The monster sensed their intentions and frantically moved its head in defense. Its movements were swift and powerful, making it difficult to approach.

During the fierce battle, Zhang Hao was accidentally hit by the monster's tail and fell heavily to the ground. His body rolled several times on the ground before stopping.

"Zhang Hao!" the old man exclaimed, his voice filled with concern.

But Zhang Hao quickly got up and rushed towards the monster again. His eyes were determined, and he had only one belief in his heart: he must defeat this monster!

They kept trying to get closer to the monster's eyes, only to be repelled again and again, only to charge forward again and again. Their wounds grew more and more, their clothes stained red with blood, but their fighting spirit remained undiminished.

Finally, Zhang Hao found an opportunity. When the monster attacked the man in black robe, he leaped into the air and stabbed the monster's eyes with lightning speed.

The monster roared in pain, the sound was deafening, and it struggled frantically, trying to escape Zhang Hao's sword.

The man in black robe took the opportunity to rush forward and thrust his weapon into the monster's other eye.

The monster's movements gradually slowed down, and it finally fell to the ground, stirring up a cloud of dust.

Everyone collapsed on the ground exhausted, gasping for breath.

"Finally solved..." Zhang Hao said weakly.

However, before they could recover, a strange noise was heard from all around them...
