Rise of the Otherworld.

Just as the beast, with its bloody maw gaping, pounced upon the crowd, a mysterious light descended from the sky, like a dazzling galaxy, instantly enveloping the beast. The light was dazzling and possessed a sacred and irresistible power, as if it were a divine judgment sent down to the mortal world.

The beast, bound by the sudden burst of light, could only roar in anger. Its voice was filled with resentment and fear. Its massive body twisted and struggled in the light, but it could not break free from these invisible shackles. Its eyes burned with rage, its fangs flashed with cold light, but it could only vent its anger in vain into the void.

Everyone looked up in surprise, only to see a mysterious old man slowly emerge. Clad in a flowing white robe, he seemed to blend seamlessly into his surroundings. His face was kind yet dignified, his eyes as deep as the ocean, making it difficult to discern the mystery within. His hair, as white as snow, fluttered gently in the breeze, adding to his sage-like aura.

"Thank you for your help, senior!" Lin Yu hurried forward to express his gratitude. His voice was full of gratitude and respect. He leaned forward slightly and bowed deeply.

The old man waved his hand slightly and said, "This evil creature is a disaster to the world, and I have to take action." His voice was low and magnetic, as if it had a power that could soothe people's hearts.

With that, the old man formed hand seals and muttered something. The mysterious light grew stronger, like a blazing sun in the sky, blazing and dazzling. The beast struggled painfully within the light, its skin smoking, its scales falling away, its body gradually becoming charred. Its roar grew ever more shrill, terrifying.

With a soft shout from the old man, the light suddenly contracted, like a giant mouth suddenly closing. The beast let out a final scream, a sound that seemed to pierce the clouds and reach the underworld. Then, it turned to ash and dissipated into the air.

Everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief, their tense nerves finally relaxing. They collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, their clothes soaked with sweat. Every face was filled with exhaustion and relief at having survived.

"My friend, why did you encounter this evil?" The old man looked at Lin Yu and asked. His eyes were gentle and sharp, as if he could see through Lin Yu's heart.

Lin Yu recounted the whole story to the old man. He started from the moment he entered the castle, then talked about the battle with the men in black, and the series of events that followed the discovery of the mysterious magic circle, all the way to the appearance of the giant beast. His narration was clear and logical, his tone filled with emotion and helplessness.

After hearing this, the old man nodded thoughtfully. He stroked his beard and said, "So that's how it is. It seems all this is destined."

"This place is fraught with danger. You'd better leave quickly," the old man said, his voice tinged with concern and warning.

After Lin Yu and the others thanked the old man again, they prepared to leave. They supported each other, staggering as if they had experienced a long nightmare.

However, when they turned around, the old man called Lin Yu.

"Young man, wait a minute." The old man's voice sounded behind Lin Yu.

Lin Yu stopped, turned around and looked at the old man in confusion.

"I see that you have excellent roots and a sense of justice, and you are a promising talent. I have a secret book here that may be helpful to you." The old man said, taking out a yellowed ancient book from his arms and handing it to Lin Yu.

Lin Yu took the ancient book, his hands trembling slightly, his heart filled with gratitude and surprise.

"Thank you, senior!" Lin Yu thanked him again.

"Remember, the way of cultivation is to persist and understand. Don't be impatient for quick success and go astray," the old man warned.

Lin Yu nodded heavily, keeping the old man's words in mind.

Afterwards, Lin Yu and the others slowly left under the old man's gaze. Their figures gradually moved away and disappeared into the distant sky.
