Chapter 253 The Mystery Deep in the Castle

As the cold wind blew past, everyone shuddered. The cold air seemed to penetrate into their bones, making people feel a chill from the inside out. Lin Yu led the way cautiously, his sword always kept in a vigilant posture. His eyes were sharp, not letting go of any possible danger.

They walked along the dim corridor, the torches on the walls flickering, the flickering light and shadows as if countless pairs of eyes were watching from the shadows. The faint flames seemed so tiny in the darkness, as if they would be swallowed by the darkness at any moment. The corridor was filled with the smell of decay, and the stone pavement beneath their feet was damp, with the occasional sound of dripping water, which was particularly clear in the silence.

"Master, I always feel this place is eerie and creepy," a disciple said in a low voice, his voice filled with undisguised fear. His body trembled slightly as he followed closely behind the others.

Lin Yu comforted softly: "Don't be afraid, just be careful." Although his voice was calm, his heart was full of vigilance.

At this moment, a tightly closed stone door appeared in front of them. The door was covered with strange runes, exuding a mysterious atmosphere. Those runes flickered with a faint light, as if telling ancient secrets.

Xiaoyaozi walked forward and observed the runes carefully: "Master, I have never seen this rune before, and I don't know what it means." He frowned and tried to decipher the meaning.

Lin Yu frowned, thought for a moment and said, "No matter what, let's find a way to open this door first." His tone was firm and full of determination.

Everyone cast various spells, radiant light flashing, and for a moment the corridor was filled with brilliant colors. Some disciples used powerful impact spells, sending beams of light shooting towards the stone gate; others used spells to control the elements, attempting to break the stone gate's seal. However, the stone gate remained motionless, as if mocking their efforts.

Just when everyone was at a loss, Lin Yu suddenly discovered a depression on the wall next to the stone door, the shape of which was quite similar to the sword in his hand. He felt a stir in his heart, and an intuition told him that this might be the key to opening the stone door.

He took a deep breath and inserted his sword into the recess. There was a dull sound, as if a long-dormant beast had been awakened. The stone door slowly rose, and a stale aura filled the air. It was a breath of age, mingled with the vicissitudes of time and the mystery of the unknown, making one hold their breath.

Inside the door was a spacious room, filled with all sorts of bizarre artifacts and books. Some of the artifacts were oddly shaped, emitting a strange glow; some of the books had yellowed pages, seemingly carrying endless wisdom.

"What are these?" A disciple wanted to go forward and check it out curiously. He had just taken a step when he was stopped by Lin Yu.

"Be careful, there's a trap!" Lin Yu shouted quickly. His voice was serious and urgent.

At that moment, the ground in the center of the room suddenly began to sink, revealing a massive black hole. From within the hole emanated a deep, grumbling roar, a sound that seemed to emanate from the depths of hell, a terrifying sound. A powerful suction force emerged from the hole, attempting to pull everyone in.

"Everyone, grab the things around you and keep steady!" Lin Yu shouted loudly.

The disciples grabbed the objects and walls around them, trying to resist the powerful suction.

Lin Yu gripped his sword tightly and tried to get closer to the black hole to check the situation.

What secrets are hidden in the black hole? Can they escape its suction and explore this mysterious room safely?
