Rise of the Otherworld.

Lin Yu stretched out his hand with all his strength and finally caught the disciple at the moment when he was about to be swallowed by the crack. The disciple's body was dangling in the air, his face full of fear and helplessness.

"Hold on to me!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, his arms bulging with veins and muscles tensed, as if he was bearing a tremendous force. His eyes were firm and persistent, and he would never allow the disciple in his hand to fall, even if he was already shaky.

However, the powerful suction force did not decrease at all, but became more fierce. Lin Yu felt that he was about to collapse, and his feet slid slowly on the ground, approaching the terrifying crack little by little.

At this moment, Xiaoyaozi shouted: "Master, use your spiritual power to form a shield, maybe it can resist this suction!" His voice became sharp because of nervousness.

Upon hearing this, Lin Yu immediately mobilized his remaining spiritual power. The spiritual power in his body surged like a surging river, madly flowing into his hands and forming a spiritual shield around everyone. The shield shone with a light blue light, like a thin layer of light curtain. As soon as the shield was formed, the suction force was indeed reduced a lot, and everyone's bodies were no longer so shaky.

"This isn't going to work. We have to find a way to get out of here!" a disciple said anxiously, his voice tearful and his eyes filled with despair.

While maintaining his spiritual shield, Lin Yu observed his surroundings. His eyes quickly scanned every corner, his brain working rapidly. Suddenly, he discovered a strange rune array on the wall not far away. The rune array emitted a faint light, which was particularly eye-catching in this dark space.

"That rune array might be the exit!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice filled with excitement and hope.

When everyone heard this, a glimmer of hope flashed in their eyes. The originally hopeless atmosphere suddenly had a slight turn for the better.

"I'll try!" Xiaoyaozi volunteered. His eyes were determined, and he moved unhesitatingly toward the rune formation. Each step was difficult, his body constantly tilting under the suction, but he continued to move forward tenaciously.

Just as Xiaoyaozi was about to approach the rune formation, a huge rock fell from above and smashed down towards him. The rock was as big as a small mountain and brought with it a whistling sound.

"Be careful!" Lin Yu exclaimed. His heart instantly rose to his throat.

Xiaoyaozi dodged the stone with a sideways movement. His heartbeat raced, and cold sweat streamed down his forehead. But he didn't stop, continuing to approach the rune formation.

Finally, Xiaoyaozi arrived in front of the rune array. He gasped, his hands trembling as he placed them on the rune array, closed his eyes, concentrated, and tried to activate it.

A moment later, the rune array began to flicker. The light was very faint at first, and then gradually became brighter.

"Did it succeed?" Everyone looked at the rune formation with anticipation, their eyes filled with desire and anxiety.

Suddenly, a bright light erupted, enveloping everyone. It was so intense that it was impossible to open one's eyes. Everyone felt their bodies enveloped by a powerful force, instantly losing consciousness.

When the light faded, they slowly opened their eyes and found themselves in an unfamiliar place. It was a barren desert, with the sun blazing down and heat waves rolling in. In the distance were rolling sand dunes that stretched as far as the eye could see.

"Where is this?" a disciple muttered to himself.

Lin Yu frowned, his heart full of doubts. They didn't know whether this was a new dangerous place or a passage to safety.

Just then, a gust of wind blew past, stirring up a cloud of dust.
