Chapter 15: The Road to Help (1)

After the sect decided to seek help from the friendly sect, Lin Yu took the initiative to volunteer and took on this arduous task. He knew that this trip was related to the life and death of the sect and dared not slack off in the slightest.

Lin Yu, along with several trusted disciples, hurriedly embarked on a journey to seek help. They rode non-stop all the way, day and night, not daring to stop for a moment.

The journey was not smooth sailing. They encountered bad weather, with howling winds, torrential rain, muddy roads, and exhausted horses. But Lin Yu's faith supported him and he continued to encourage his disciples to move forward.

"Everyone, work harder. The safety of the sect depends on us!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, his voice a little hoarse in the wind and rain.

After finally passing through the wind and rain area, they encountered a group of robbers. Seeing that Lin Yu and others were in a hurry, the robbers thought they had some valuables and blocked their way.

"I built this road and planted these trees. If you want to pass through here, you have to pay me for the passage!" The bandit leader said viciously, waving his sword.

Lin Yu frowned, feeling extremely anxious. He knew that he couldn't waste time here.

"Get out of the way! We have an urgent matter!" Lin Yu shouted angrily.

The robbers were unmoved and pressed on. Lin Yu had no choice but to draw his sword.

A fierce battle erupted instantly. Lin Yu led the charge, his swordsmanship fierce, like a tiger charging into a flock of sheep. His sword gleamed coldly in the rain, and every swing was accompanied by a sharp sound of wind. The bandits were intimidated by his momentum, but relying on their numbers, they continued to attack.

Lin Yu's clothes were soaked by the rain and stuck to his body, but his movements were not affected at all. He moved flexibly among the bandits, his sword rising and falling, and blood splattered everywhere.

"Ah!" A robber fell down with a scream.

The disciples also fought bravely. They followed Lin Yu closely and showed their tenacious fighting spirit.

"Brothers, hold on!" the bandit leader shouted, trying to stabilize the situation.

However, Lin Yu's attacks became more and more fierce, the robbers began to feel timid, and some of them began to flee.

"Don't run!" the bandit leader roared, but to no avail.

Finally, the bandits fled, and Lin Yu and the others did not bother to chase them and continued on their way.

After several days of traveling, they finally arrived at Youzong's mountain gate. However, Youzong's attitude made them feel disappointed.

The head of the You Sect looked embarrassed and said, "My dear nephew Lin Yu, it's not that I don't want to help, but we also have many matters to deal with in our sect, and we really can't spare too many people."

Lin Yu was extremely anxious and said sincerely: "Master, if this crisis cannot be resolved, our sect may no longer exist. If your sect encounters difficulties in the future, we will definitely help you with all our strength."

The head of Youzong hesitated for a long time and said, "Okay, I can only send some disciples to support you, but their strength may be limited."

Although Lin Yu was a little disappointed, he still said gratefully: "Thank you, Master. It's better than nothing."

Under Lin Yu's earnest pleading, the leader of Youzong finally agreed to send some disciples to support, but their strength was far below Lin Yu's expectations.

Lin Yu took this glimmer of hope and set out on his journey home. However, on the way back, they encountered various unexpected difficulties and obstacles.

Once, while passing through a forest, they accidentally triggered a powerful formation. Suddenly, mist rose up around them, enveloping them.

"Everyone be careful!" Lin Yu said vigilantly.

The disciples suddenly became nervous. They looked around but could not see a way out.

Lin Yu calmed down and carefully observed the changes in the formation. He found that the surrounding trees and stones seemed to be arranged according to a certain pattern.

"Follow me, don't rush!" Lin Yu said, taking cautious steps.

The disciples followed him closely, not daring to breathe.

As Lin Yu walked, he thought about how to break the formation. As time passed, they got deeper and deeper into the formation.

"What should we do? Senior Brother Lin Yu?" a disciple asked in a trembling voice.

"Don't panic, I will definitely take everyone out." Lin Yu comforted.

Finally, after several hours of hard work, Lin Yu found the flaw in the formation and led everyone out of the predicament.

Another time, they had run out of dry food and water, and were struggling to move forward in the desert, almost unable to hold on.

The scorching sun baked the earth and the sand was so hot that it hurt my feet.

"Senior Brother Lin Yu, I can't walk anymore." A disciple said weakly.

Lin Yu looked at everyone's tired appearance and felt very anxious.

"Everyone, hold on a little longer. There may be water ahead." Lin Yu encouraged.

They dragged their heavy feet and moved forward step by step.

Just when everyone was almost in despair, Lin Yu discovered an oasis in the distance.

"Look, there's an oasis ahead!" Lin Yu shouted excitedly.

Everyone suddenly became energized and quickened their pace towards the oasis.

Finally, after going through untold hardships, Lin Yu and others returned to the sect.

But by this time, the enemy had already launched another attack, and the sect's situation became even more critical.

On the city wall, smoke filled the air and shouts of killing shook the sky.

Lin Yu looked at the scene in front of him and secretly vowed in his heart: "We must repel the enemy and defend the sect!"
