The President's Tender Trap
Chapter 4 Collaborative Projects
The meeting began, and Lu Ming, the project leader, spoke first. He outlined the project's goals and steps in concise and powerful language, his tone brimming with authority. Su Wan listened silently, her mind mulling over her: "I must seize this opportunity and not let him suppress me!"
"Next, we need to discuss the division of labor. I hope everyone can play to their strengths." Lu Ming continued, glancing at Su Wan, "Su Wan, you will be responsible for the marketing part."
"Marketing? That's exactly my strong point!" Su Wan was delighted, but a hint of disdain lingered on her face. "But in your opinion, can I do better than you?"
"I hope you can do well in this project." Lu Ming said coldly, as if putting pressure on her.
"Just wait and see, I will surprise you!" Su swore secretly in his heart, his eyes determined.
As the project progressed, the two interacted frequently, yet the atmosphere remained tense. In every meeting, Su Wan would try to propose her own ideas, but Lu Ming would look at her with a 'Do you really think you can do that?' This gaze made Su Wan furious, and she silently thought, "This guy is such a cool guy! I must impress him!" One day, Su Wan was working overtime in the office, preparing a marketing plan. She happened to stumble upon a research report on a competitor, and excitedly decided to share it at the next day's meeting.
"I must let Lu Ming know how important my thoughts are!" She muttered to herself, and couldn't help but smile.
On the day of the meeting, Su Wan walked into the conference room with confidence. As she sorted through the materials, she secretly observed Lu Ming's expression and thought to herself, "He's definitely going to be shocked by my proposal today!"
Lu Ming sat at one side of the table, his face expressionless, flipping through documents. Su Wan took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and began her report.
"Hello everyone, today I would like to share my views on marketing." Su Wan cleared her throat with a firm look in her eyes.
"Please go ahead." Lu Ming nodded slightly, his eyes still cold, as if he didn't have much expectation for her report.
"Based on our research on competitors, I found that they have some shortcomings in marketing. We can use these opportunities to attract more customers." Su Wan's voice gradually became higher and her emotions became more excited.
"I think what you said makes some sense, but what about the specific implementation plan?" Lu Ming suddenly interrupted with a hint of disdain in his tone.
"I was just about to say that!" Su Wan's heart tightened, and she tried to remain calm. "We can increase brand exposure through a combination of social media and offline activities."
"The effect of social media is not necessarily significant. In many cases, the support of physical stores is needed." Lu Ming's voice was cold and indifferent, as if pouring cold water on her.
"But we can't ignore the needs of young consumers. They rely more on the Internet!" Su Wan showed no sign of weakness, with fighting spirit flashing in her eyes.
"The needs of young consumers are important, but we can't ignore customers of other age groups either." Lu Ming frowned slightly, as if thinking. "I understand, but we can first develop a strategy targeting the younger demographic and then gradually expand." Su Wan insisted, thinking to herself, "I absolutely cannot lose this argument!"
In the conference room, the atmosphere between the two sides grew increasingly tense, as if it might explode at any moment. The other colleagues looked at each other in bewilderment, silently praying that this "debate" would end quickly.
"I think we can try Su Wan's plan. After all, marketing requires innovation." A colleague made a cautious suggestion, trying to break the deadlock.
"Innovation is, but we also have to consider the feasibility of actual operation." Lu Ming responded coldly, and seemed to have no intention of compromising.
"I will combine feasibility and innovation to ensure the effectiveness of the plan!" Su Wan said firmly, but she was secretly anxious in her heart.
Just as the two were at a stalemate, Su Wan's phone suddenly rang. She looked and saw it was a message from her best friend Lin Xiaoyu: "Come on! Don't let him defeat you!"
"Why would this person send such a message at this time!" Su Wan felt helpless and forced herself to suppress her smile, but she also cheered herself up.
"If there are no other questions, let's end today's meeting." Lu Ming finally gave the order with a hint of impatience in his voice.
"I still have something to say!" Su Wan blurted out almost subconsciously, but in her heart she was thinking: "I can't give up like this!"
"Then you say." There was a hint of surprise in Lu Ming's eyes, as if he was a little surprised by her persistence.
"We can conduct a campaign on social media to attract consumer participation and collect their feedback, which will also enhance the brand image." Su Wan's voice gradually became louder, as if defending her idea.
"This is a good idea. We can consider it." Lu Ming finally showed a hint of approval. Although his tone was still cold, Su Wan was secretly glad in her heart: "It seems that I still have a chance!"
After the meeting, Su Wan felt a sense of accomplishment. Although the process was tense, she had finally successfully demonstrated her abilities in front of Lu Ming. She couldn't help but say to herself, "Although this workplace collaboration was like a war, I can be considered a winner!"
Lu Ming thought silently in his heart: "Although this girl has a hot temper, her ideas are indeed worthy of attention." He began to realize that perhaps in this cooperation, both parties could learn a lot from each other.
In the days that followed, Su Wan and Lu Ming's collaboration gradually became smoother. Although there were still small arguments, they were more understanding and supportive of each other. They worked together and ultimately brought the project to success.
"It seems that the workplace is like a battlefield, and the love field is like a battlefield, but sometimes, cooperation can also become a tacit understanding." Su Wan sighed in her heart, and every day in the future is full of infinite possibilities.
In the company's conference room, the atmosphere was suffocatingly tense. Su Wan and Lu Ming's collaborative project had reached a critical stage, with both sides striving for a better outcome. However, as time went on, the friction between them intensified, as if every meeting was a battle.
"According to our market research, consumers' demand for this product is not as strong as you said." Lu Ming said coldly, with a hint of disdain in his tone.
"I think there's something wrong with your data. We should adjust our strategy based on the actual market situation!" Su Wan blushed with anger, thinking to herself, "Why is this person so rigid? He won't listen to anyone else's opinions!"
