The President's Tender Trap
Chapter 172 The Moment of First Encounter
Sunlight streamed in through the café windows, its warm light casting dappled shadows on the wooden floor. Su Wan sat by the window, a fragrant latte in hand, but her heart was filled with anxiety. She had hoped to enjoy her afternoon in this quiet place, but the pressure of work kept her from settling in.
"Hi, can you sit here?" A warm voice interrupted her thoughts. Su Wan looked up and saw a tall man wearing a simple white shirt and dark jeans, giving him a refreshing look. His smile was warm and sincere, revealing a sense of affinity.
"Oh, of course." Su Wan responded quickly, but she felt a little nervous. She was not used to communicating with strangers, especially such a charming man.
After the man sat down, he ordered a cup of black coffee and his eyes fell on Su Wan's latte. He smiled slightly and asked, "Do you like latte?"
"Well, I like the aroma of coffee, and the milk foam in latte is very delicate." Su Wan tried to relax and make the conversation flow smoothly. She didn't expect to talk about coffee with a stranger, and she felt a little nervous.
"Me too. Especially when I'm busy, a cup of good coffee can make me full of energy again." The man's voice was low and magnetic, as if it had some kind of magic that made Su Wan relax unconsciously.
"Me too. I've been feeling a bit stressed out at work lately." Su Wan sighed softly, the irritation in her heart seemingly alleviated by his smile. She didn't know why she was confiding in this stranger, but a hint of helplessness lingered in her words.
"Work pressure is always inevitable. Just find a way to relieve stress that suits you." There was a glimmer of understanding in the man's eyes, and his gaze made Su Wan feel warm.
"You're right. I've been trying to exercise at the gym lately, and it seems to be working for me." Su Wan smiled slightly, and the tension in her heart gradually faded. She found that this man seemed to have a lot of topics to talk about, and it wasn't that difficult to talk to him.
"Gym? Me too. Although I'm sometimes too lazy to go, I always feel refreshed after going." The man smiled frankly, showing his true side.
"Haha, yes, when I'm too lazy to go, I always want to be lazy." Su Wan couldn't help laughing, and she couldn't help but feel a good impression of this man.
"My name is Lu Ming, what's yours?" He smiled and stretched out his hand.
"Su Wan." She held his hand and felt a warm power, as if this handshake was not only the beginning of their acquaintance, but also the prelude to future stories.
"Nice to meet you, Su Wan." Lu Ming's smile was as warm as the sun, as if it could melt all the cold mood.
As the conversation deepened, Su Wan discovered that Lu Ming was not only sunny and handsome, but also had a deep heart. He shared interesting stories about his work and some life philosophies, which made Su Wan feel an unprecedented sense of ease and joy. She forgot her previous troubles and immersed herself in the conversation with Lu Ming.
"What do you do for a living?" Lu Ming suddenly asked.
"I work in an advertising company and have been busy with a big project lately. The pressure is a bit high." Su Wan answered truthfully, and her heart gradually opened up to Lu Ming.
"The advertising industry sounds interesting. I have always had great respect for creative work." Lu Ming nodded seriously, his eyes sparkling with love for his work.
"In fact, there are many challenges. Creativity and market demands always need to be balanced." Su Wan explained seriously. She didn't expect that she would talk about the challenges at work with a stranger. It felt a little strange.
"I believe you can do it. After all, you seem very talented." Lu Ming's praise made Su Wan's cheeks slightly warm, and an inexplicable sweetness surged in her heart.
Just as the two were chatting happily, the doorbell of the cafe rang, and a gust of cold wind accompanied the arrival of a customer, interrupting their conversation. Su Wan's eyes involuntarily looked towards the door, and she felt a little reluctant at this moment.
"It looks like the weather outside isn't very good." Lu Ming followed her gaze and smiled slightly. "I hope it won't affect your next plan."
"Yes, I still have to meet clients." Su Wan sighed, feeling a little reluctant, but had to face reality.
"Then I wish you all the best." Lu Ming's eyes showed a hint of reluctance, but he quickly restrained his emotions and smiled slightly, "Maybe we can leave our contact information and have coffee together later."
"Okay." Su Wan nodded in agreement, secretly happy in her heart. She didn't expect that she would establish a connection with this stranger.
They exchanged phone numbers, and Su Wan felt a warm feeling in her heart. This simple exchange made her feel the possibility of the future, as if this sunny man would play an important role in her life.
"Then I won't bother you anymore. I wish you a good day." Lu Ming stood up and bowed slightly, his eyes full of warmth.
"Thank you, Lu Ming." Su Wan's voice was gentle but firm, her heart filled with anticipation. She knew that this chance encounter might change the trajectory of her life.
As Lu Ming left, Su Wan's heart surged. She picked up her coffee cup and took a sip, her heart filled with warmth and anticipation. This first encounter seemed to open a new window to her life, allowing her to see a different future.
Since their first encounter, Su Wan and Lu Ming's connection has grown stronger. The warm early autumn sun, the leaves swaying gently in the breeze, seemed to cast a golden glow over their friendship. Lu Ming would often message, asking about Su Wan's work progress and sharing little anecdotes from his life. Every time Su Wan saw his message, a wave of sweet anticipation welled up in her heart.
One evening, Su Wan was sorting through work documents at home when her phone rang. She opened it and saw a voice message from Lu Ming. She quickly clicked on it and heard Lu Ming's voice: "Su Wan, I just found out about a great music festival happening downtown next weekend. I'd like to invite you to come. I heard there will be some great bands performing."
Su Wan's heart was filled with excitement. Music had always been her passion. Listening to music always made her feel relaxed and happy after a busy day at work. She quickly replied, "Yes, I'd love to go! You know I always love listening to music."
"Great! Then let's go together. I look forward to sharing this musical feast with you." Lu Ming's reply was full of excitement. Su Wan felt that he was looking forward to this event as much as she was.
