Necromancer: Ahem! I'm really not Lao Liu!

Half-asleep, Zhang Dadan muttered to himself, wondering if it would rain in this secret realm.

People are sometimes strange; good things don't come true, but bad things do; whatever you think about comes true.

Just as he was sound asleep, raindrops suddenly fell on Zhang Dadan's face, startling him awake.

Having his sleep abruptly interrupted, Zhang Dadan couldn't help but grumble, "What's going on? So inconsiderate!"

When he was fully awake, he looked up and saw that the bright moon in the sky had disappeared, replaced by a drizzling rain.

The bittersweet experience can only be truly understood by those who have personally gone through it.

But as the saying goes, a tree dies when transplanted, but a person thrives.

Every professional has their own way of living.

Zhang Dadan was thankful that he wasn't a combat-oriented professional; with so many free "tools"—skeletons—serving him, his quality of life could at least be improved.

Although these skeletons are indeed ugly and a bit unsettling at first glance, once you overcome that little psychological barrier, everything seems fine.

While Zhang Dadan was thinking about all sorts of random things, his hands didn't stop; he was busy setting up the rain shelter.

Although there were no ready-made awnings, there were plenty of materials available.

They found some bamboo poles and erected them at the four corners of the sedan chair to build a frame. They then made a skull shape on top of it and covered it with the freshly harvested wolf pelts one by one, like tiles.

In less than half an hour, a canopy that could fully cover the bed was completed.

Zhang Dadan examined his "masterpiece" closely.

This doesn't seem to be what I imagined at all!

Looking at the awning, Zhang Dadan muttered to himself in disbelief, "How could this be? I used to see people building things in videos, and it seemed pretty simple. It's just about building a frame according to the rules and then making a roof or something. It's all pretty easy."

The awning in front of me is indeed a bit abstract and different from what I had imagined. It doesn't look very good, but fortunately, it doesn't leak and is still very practical.

Zhang Dadan quickly consoled himself: "So what if it's ugly? As long as it works, that's fine. What more can you ask for in this desolate wilderness?"
