After the two sisters had eaten and drunk their fill, they packed up and prepared to go home. As they walked out of the store, they saw a waiter from the tavern opposite pushing a skinny boy out, saying disdainfully as he pushed him:

"Go away, go away! Don't come to my shop next time. If you come again, don't blame me for being rude. Where did you come from, little beggar? It's bad luck!"

The little boy was pushed and almost fell, but he held the bamboo basket he was holding tightly, sobbing softly and preparing to leave.

Lin Yutang and Lin Zhi both disliked people bullying the weak, so they hurried over to the little boy and said, "Little brother, are you okay?"

When the little boy saw that they were two gentle little sisters, his eyes, which had been hurt just now, became bright with anticipation again.

"Sister, I'm fine." Then he whispered, "Sister, this is tofu made by my mother. It's so tender and delicious. Do you want to buy a piece and try it?"

It was getting late, and he hadn't sold all the tofu today. If he kept it for tomorrow, it would be unusable. He wanted to earn some extra money to take home so that his mother's hard work wouldn't be in vain.

Lin Yutang looked at the white and clean tofu in the basket and asked, "Sister wants all of it. How much is it?"

The little boy looked at Lin Yutang in shock, but after thinking for a while he said, "Sister, you can't finish so much, and it won't be enough if you leave it for tomorrow." He also wanted to sell it all, but his mother said that it was not right.

"Sister, there are many people in my family, we can finish the food!" Linzhi was almost melted by this sensible little brother, and touched his head and said.

"One cent for a piece of tofu. There are six pieces here. Sister, give me five cents!" The little kid said happily.

Lin Yutang counted out six copper coins to him and said, "Go home quickly, it's late! If you have any tofu next time, you can send it to this store!" Lin Yutang pointed to his shop.

"Well! Thank you, sister. Goodbye!" The little kid waved happily to the two of them and ran home. He sold all the tofu today, and his mother must be very happy!

"Xiaotang, what are you going to cook with so much tofu? Besides, we have already had dinner tonight." After the little boy ran away, Linzhi touched her belly and said.

"Tofu can be made into something delicious in many ways. Don't worry, sister. My space can keep it fresh. I'll put it in there first and make it for you tomorrow." Lin Yutang took Lin Zhi's hand and walked towards home.

The next morning, Lin Yutang went into the space early and made some preserved egg and tofu.

First prepare the sauce: three spoons each of light soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, one spoon of oyster sauce, one spoon of sugar, one spoon of chili oil, half a spoon of sesame oil, and add onions, garlic, and coriander.

Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and chopped preserved eggs and mix them together. Although this may not look good, it will make the tofu more flavorful. The more chopped the preserved eggs and tofu are, the more flavorful they are!

I went to the breakfast area and got two large bowls of rice porridge, and then selected eight large buns, thinking of sending some to Uncle Li and Aunt Li's house later.

After leaving the space, Lin Yutang first divided the porridge, preserved egg tofu, and buns, said something to Lin Zhi, and sent them to the next door first.

Aunt Li was already busy in the yard. When Lin Yutang knocked on the door, Aunt Li hurriedly opened it, thinking that someone knocking on the door so early in the morning must have some urgent matter.

"Xiaotang, is there anything wrong? Have you had breakfast? Come in and talk!" When Aunt Li saw that it was Lin Yutang, she hurriedly welcomed her in.

"Aunt Li, I just came to bring you some breakfast!" Lin Yutang said as he handed forward the basket in his hand.

"You kid, why are you still bringing breakfast to your aunt? If you and Linzhi don't want to make breakfast in the morning, come to my house and eat."

Although Aunt Li said this, she still took the basket. Last time, she said that the two families should not be so unfamiliar with each other. Secondly, Lin Yutang's cooking skills are really great! They are very greedy.

"Then I'll go back first. I have to set up the stall after dinner!" Lin Yutang said as he walked out, but Aunt Li hurried over and stuffed two cucumbers that she grew at home into his mouth.

After Lin Yutang left, Aunt Li took out everything in the basket. The family of three sat around the table with their eyes wide open. This was too sumptuous!

A big bowl of white rice porridge, this pure white rice porridge they only cook during Chinese New Year, along with six big steaming hot buns, a bowl of tofu mixed with some black stuff? . . . .

"Xiaotang said this is called preserved egg, made from duck eggs." Aunt Li explained as she served everyone a bowl of white rice porridge. A sip warmed both the heart and the stomach! Then a bite of the big meat bun, the soft bun skin and the delicious meat inside, was so satisfying!

Li Dajiang was the first to taste the preserved egg and tofu. The tofu was tender and melted in the mouth, soaked in the hot and sour sauce without any bean smell. The preserved egg was tender, elastic and soft, with a unique aroma. The first bite was strange, the second bite was really delicious!

Only Tuantuan took a bite and shook his head. How could anyone like to eat such a weird thing!

Then he watched his parents eat with relish, and mixed the remaining soup with cucumber.

Tuantuan: I have achieved a world where I am the only one who gets hurt!
