A subtle flicker of joy crossed his face. He concentrated, silently chanting to activate the Bagua Gyro Dimension. Then, he quickly reached for a crate of ammunition, gripping the sides. With force, he lifted the crate and swung it in one direction. With a flick of his arm, it vanished, tucked into the Dimension. Then, he rushed to the pile of guns, his hands darting left and right, grabbing them one by one and swiftly shoving them into the Dimension. His arms pulsed with energy, and in a moment, the armory was empty. Once he was done, he took a deep breath, tensed his body, and quickly slipped out of the door.

Lei Tao crouched down and stalked through the shadows of the camp, quickly moving towards the spot where the Sichuan Army scouts were tied up. As he approached, he heard the dull sound of whips hitting people and the suppressed groans of pain from the Sichuan Army scouts.

Hiding behind a tent, he peered out to observe. He saw several shirtless Japanese soldiers wielding whips soaked in salt water, viciously beating a Sichuan Army scout tied to a tree. Lei Tao slowly crouched down, unhooking a semi-automatic drum-type repeating crossbow from his back. He gripped the crossbow in his right hand, then took a deep breath and slowly stood up, leaning against the edge of the tent, with only the crossbow and one eye visible.
