After finishing the exploration of the platform on the left, Wu Ye took a deep breath, turned and looked at Haley, his eyes flashing with determination and expectation.

He gently dusted himself off, and the fine sand and tiny gravel fell to the ground as he moved, as if bidding farewell to the battles of the past. He planned to take Hailey to the right, where new clues and opportunities might be hidden.

The two walked side by side towards the portal on the right, each step steady and powerful. This time, they silently prayed in their hearts, hoping that this was indeed the right portal. After all the twists and turns before, especially the battle with that hilarious yet tenacious treasure chest monster, they were indeed a little tired.

While such a battle would be fun, it clearly wasn't the purpose of their trip. Surely both sides wouldn't be filled with treasure chest monsters? Such a thought flashed through their minds, only to be replaced by curiosity about the unknown and a desire to explore.

Stepping through the portal once again, the familiar feeling of dizziness returned, though this time it seemed much shorter. When they opened their eyes again, they were already on the right platform. This time, there was no Mimic on the platform, but instead a brand new portal, quietly awaiting their arrival.

Wu Ye immediately became alert and ordered the skeletons to scout the way ahead, to prevent any sudden attacks from demons as they entered. The skeletons quickly dispersed, moving forward cautiously, clearing a safe path for the two men.

Haili also became more vigilant. Under Wu Ye's guidance, she had learned how to protect herself during adventures. She held her weapon tightly, always ready to deal with any possible danger.

There were no demons lurking near the portal, and the two reached it without incident. Wu Ye looked at Hailey, whose eyes were filled with determination and anticipation. He nodded gently, signaling her to get ready, and then stepped into the portal first.

The familiar brief feeling of dizziness returned, but this time Wu Ye felt it more clearly. He quickly adjusted himself and turned to look at Hailey. She stumbled slightly towards him, clearly having been physically affected by the teleportation.

Wu Ye immediately stepped forward to support her and asked with concern, "Are you okay? Why don't you take a rest first?"

Hailey shook her head and forced a smile, "I'm fine. Let's go."

Wu Ye knew Hailey was holding on. But there was no other choice but to move forward. He supported Hailey and carefully passed through the portal, arriving in a completely new space.

It was a vast maze, enclosed by walls on all sides, with only forward and backward paths. Wu Ye looked around, trying to find some clues from the patterns on the maze. But the patterns seemed merely decorative, devoid of any real meaning.

He shook his head helplessly, then turned to look at Hailey, who was leaning against the wall, her face slightly pale, and she obviously needed to rest.

"Haili, take a break first. I'll find you a bed." Wu Ye said as he took out a folding bed from his backpack and quickly made it up. He then helped Haili lie down on it to rest.

Seeing Haili gradually relax, Wu Ye also breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that the most important thing now was to help Haili recover her strength. So he took out his cooking utensils from his backpack and began to prepare food.

Although cooking seemed a bit inappropriate in this mysterious maze, Wu Ye knew that only by making sure Haley was well fed and well-hydrated could she recover her strength as soon as possible and continue their adventure.

Soon, an alluring aroma filled the maze. Hailey lay on her bed, taking in the aroma, and her mood gradually relaxed. Her fatigue seemed to have eased considerably, and it seemed she was indeed craving something to eat.

I don't know how long it took, but when Wu Ye came to the bed with the hot meal, Haili had already sat up with a smile on her face. She took the meal and started eating it with big mouthfuls.

Wu Ye looked at Haili eating with gusto, and his heart was filled with satisfaction and relief.

After dinner, Hailey's spirits improved significantly. After a short rest, the two began exploring this mysterious maze. Wu Ye marked the path as he went, to avoid getting lost.

He took out the chalk he carried with him and drew unique symbols on the wall. These symbols not only represented their route, but also contained Wu Ye's unique understanding and judgment of the maze.

They passed through room after room, through countless corridors and corners. Throughout this process, Wu Ye remained highly alert and perceptive. He carefully observed every detail, trying to find clues to the next room.

Finally, on a wall covered in black and white lines, Wu Ye discovered a unique groove. The shape and size of this groove were completely different from the other lines on the wall, as if it were a secret passage that had been deliberately concealed. Wu Ye's mind flickered, and he immediately realized that this groove might be hiding some kind of mechanism.

He carefully observed the groove, trying to find a way to trigger the mechanism. After some groping and experimenting, he finally found a tiny button hidden on the edge of the groove. He gently pressed the button, and the lines around the groove began to slowly move, revealing the entrance to a hidden room.

Wu Ye and Haili smiled at each other. They knew that this hidden room might contain the clues and answers they had been looking for.

They walked into the room cautiously, only to find various experimental instruments and magic books placed inside. This was clearly a place similar to a laboratory, filled with an atmosphere of mystery and the unknown.

The two began to search the room carefully.

"Could this be where Horazon hides and conducts experiments?"

Wu Ye saw a magic circle clearly drawn on the ground made of blood. He didn't know what method was used, but it had not dried up yet.

"The smell of blood is so strong..."

Hayley fanned her nose with her hand while trying to find something useful on the bookshelf.

There were many things placed on the shelf next to it, many of which were magical materials, and one or two books, which were more like notes or diaries than books.

There were some crooked spell-like things written on it, which made me feel uneasy just by looking at it.

"despair"

When he took out another diary-like book, a piece of paper fell to the ground.

Wu Ye picked it up and saw that it was a map of a maze!

"Haley, look, it's a map."

The location of the hidden room he was in was clearly marked on the map. This made it easier for Wu Ye to find his way, so he didn't have to explore the way step by step like a headless fly.

"Great, we can finally get out of here quickly."

Hailey seemed relieved, and her expression softened slightly.
