Evans, son of Raven Ludwig, was the second owner of Frost Crown—the Holy Tower of Magic—and the master of Frost Castle. He disliked the harsh winters of Frostwind County, and after the war, he rebuilt the castle in the south of Roland Continent. Due to the numerous deaths of magicians in the battle against demons, the newly built Ludwig Castle was transformed into a magic school to preserve the legacy of magic.
