Yunwu has been living in this dilapidated welfare home ever since she can remember.

It was March that day, and the peach tree in the yard was in full bloom, its leaves and blossoms blazing with fragrance. Yunwu sat beneath the tree, basking in the sun and painting. Not long after, she heard a noise in the corner of the house. She listened carefully and discovered it was the whimpering of a kitten.

Yunwu thought it was the lost cat.

She ran over with joy, but the scene before her was hard to take in. Shi Yu had gotten two fruit knives from somewhere and was dissecting a tabby kitten that had bitten Yun Wu. His expression was cool and handsome, without a trace of nervousness or fear.

Yunwu was so frightened that she lost her voice and felt extremely nauseous, but she couldn't vomit. Her fear overwhelmed her anger, and she turned around and tried to escape, but was caught after a few seconds.

Shi Yu dragged Yun Wu to a corner and covered her mouth tightly to prevent her from making any sound.

"Don't bark, or I won't let the remaining two go. Think it over carefully."

Shi Yu was just a seven-year-old boy, but the words he said and the cold aura he exuded were completely inconsistent with his age and good looks.

At this time, everyone was taking a nap, and they were the only two in the yard. Yunwu ran after Shiyu, "Give it to me, don't throw it away!"

Shi Yu became more and more angry, leaving Yun Wu far behind, "Don't even think about it!"

She ultimately failed to catch up with him and could only watch Shi Yu throw the kitten into the river.

There was a wide asphalt road between them. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and the sun was shining brightly, making people feel warm and comfortable. But Yunwu didn't feel that way. She was shivering from head to toe.

It turns out that Shi Yu is such a person.

Shi Yu stood by the river for a while, then walked towards Yunwu. He was half a head taller than her. Although he was a child, she inexplicably felt a sense of oppression as if she were in front of an adult.
