Chapter 514: The Return of Raze

In the giant square outside the Silent City, members from various magical organizations in the Demon Realm began to gather around the giant, glittering blue energy crystal. Along with the large number of ordinary members, several cadres from the magical organizations also came.

They came from Tarakuta, from the Xiaxiu sect, from the Second Covenant, from the Ancient Library. But now they all shared a common goal: to leave the Demon Realm, this world cursed by the sun, forever without sunlight, to invade the Celestial Realm and the continent of Arad, worlds far more habitable than the Demon Realm, worlds unworthy of the weak natives!

Climb up this tower and you will reach the "beautiful world" on the other side.

A woman dressed in a dark green robe, her head covered by a hat that almost obscured half her face, walked quietly to the front of the group. She was one of Tarakuta's representatives, the Returned Reize, a peerless powerhouse who had recently returned from Tarakuta.

If she hadn't been there when Tarakuta elected a new leader, the Void Mage Ron wouldn't have been the leader. Fortunately, Raze had no intention of competing with Ron for power. She had returned simply to share with the other elementalists that she had discovered the path for elementalists after reaching the Grand Mage realm.

Grand Magisters were once the pinnacle of elementalists, possessing the power of meteoric destruction, summoning elemental crystals from the sky to continuously bombard their enemies, a nightmare for all who crossed them. However, such power remained fragmented, and how to fuse the four elements together was the subject of Raze's dedicated research.

And now, she has returned with the results of her research and a method to become an elemental spirit more powerful than the Grand Mage.

Although she has no intention of fighting for power, Raze, who has been promoted to the Elemental Holy Spirit, obviously possesses power that surpasses the current leader of Tarakuta, the Void Mage Ron. As the strongest member of Tarakuta, the strongest magic organization in the demon world, it is most appropriate for her to launch an attack and kick off the attack on the Silent City.

Raze wasn't one for show. After she emerged from the crowd, she raised her staff, inlaid with four-colored elemental crystals, her eyes blazing with a fiery white light. The next second, a vast white ball of light condensed in front of her staff, transforming into a laser beam as thick as a bucket, which blasted towards the vaguely distant Silent City.

The Silent City had activated its overall protective shield as early as when the invaders approached the square. At this moment, after receiving the all-out attack from the Returner, the Elemental Holy Spirit Raze, the protective shield immediately experienced violent energy fluctuations and emitted a "buzzing" sound.

But when Rize released the entire white beam of light, the protective shield of the Silent City remained strong. Although it was shaking violently, there was no sign of collapse.

Seeing that Reize's tentative attack had no effect, a green-haired demon from the Xiuxiu faction, dressed like a thug with a bare upper body, leather pants tied with a skull belt, and iron rings and nails on his skin, immediately laughed loudly. "Ha, that's it? You're still an Elemental Holy Spirit, are you any good?"

This is the representative of the Xiu Sect, the leader of the chief combat group "Devil", Heartbreaker Richard, the champion and manager of Royal Entertainment's most heavyweight entertainment project "Underground Fight Club", and the most capable fighter under the Demon King Xia Lefuzi.

Unlike the other three magical organizations, which had deployed nearly their entire forces, the leader of the Xiaxiu faction, the "Demon King" Charlefus, did not personally attend the invasion. Instead, he dispatched his most trusted subordinate, Xiaxiu's deputy leader, Dolhead. So, although the Xiaxiu faction had the largest number of troops, they attached far less importance to the invasion than the other three organizations.

After all, the Xiaxiu Sect is now rampant in the Demon Realm and is living a pretty good life. The Demon Emperor probably thinks that there is no need for the Xiaxiu Sect to invade other worlds, because there are still large areas of the Demon Realm that have not been occupied, so why bother to go far away?

But Demon King Charlefouz wasn't present, and the towering, dog-headed queen Dolhead couldn't contain the unruly Heartbreaker Richard. Richard's provocation of the unknown but undoubtedly powerful Returner Raze was simply Richard's own foulmouthed boasting, and had nothing to do with Dolhead, who stood slightly behind him alongside Talakuta's leader, Void Mage Ron.

When the dog-headed lady heard her gang leader barking like a mad dog, her face instantly turned as black as ink. It wasn't an expression, it was her entire body melting into the shadows, transforming into a ball of purple-black mist. She flashed to Richard's side and swung her staff gun, striking him hard on the back of the head.

Richard reacted quickly, turning around and raising his hand to block Dolhead's cane gun with the back of his hand. He barked at Dolhead with an unhappy look on his face, "What, bitch, you want to fight?"

"Shut up and don't disturb Raze." Dolhead said coldly, then turned into mist and returned to his original position.

Richard shrugged, still looking disdainful, but still made a "tsk" sound and stopped bothering Ritz.

"Your code of silence doesn't apply to Master Richard."

Raze didn't care about Richard's foul mouth at all. After launching that attack, she calmed down, holding the staff in her hand as if waiting for something.

Not long after, a white-haired lady wearing glasses stepped out from the crowd. Her hair was dyed a streak of emerald green, but it still didn't erase her scholarly aura. This demonic lady was holding a few books in her hands, which she seemed to have just flipped through.

She was clearly wearing glasses, but she also had a pair of goggles on top of her head, which seemed to have an ambiguous meaning. Perhaps it was just a decoration similar to a hair flower.

She is also a well-known figure in the demon world, the director of the ancient library "Monica", the protector of magic, the pillar of the academic world, and the best mentor in the minds of countless magicians who are thirsty for knowledge.

Beneath her aloof exterior and silent personality lies an immense passion for the study of magic. Not only herself, but also others interested in magic, can sense Monica's unwavering enthusiasm for it.

Monica walked over to Riz and said to her, "Ms. Riz, the fluctuation parameters of the magic shield outside the Silent City have been analyzed. Here are the node data."

As she spoke, she threw a book into the air. The book opened in mid-air, and a beam of light descended from the sky, illuminating Reize. Along with this beam of light, a vast amount of magical knowledge was transmitted to Reize.

Ancient magic books, the universal spells of the Ancient Library, are learned by almost all magicians who have joined the Ancient Library. Normally, ancient knowledge should only be used to increase the regeneration rate of magic power. However, Monica's ancient magic book can directly instill knowledge, clearly Monica has developed this magic to a new level.

With Monica's technical support, Raze's expression remained unchanged. She just nodded slightly, then once again raised the staff inlaid with four elemental crystals in her hand towards the Silent City in front of her.

Once again, blazing white light shone from her eyes. This time, her magic power converged in front of her staff, forming a continuously expanding white orb. Vast light elements began to boil around Reize's body. This orb, imbued with immense magical power, flew from Reize's staff. Under the gaze of the entire demonic army, it leisurely smashed into the distant, hazy, shielded Silent City.

The next moment, brilliant and powerful light elements exploded directly in front of everyone's eyes, and a pure white sun suddenly appeared in the sky.

The dark clouds that had never dispersed over the Demon Realm were shattered in an instant, but the sunlight that shone through the clouds was far less bright than the light elemental ball released by Raze.

After expanding to its full potential, the bright ball of light collided with the Silent City's protective shield, rubbing violently against it. After a brief clash, the ball of light exploded, and the rising light element once again cast a long-lasting white shadow on the retinas of the demonic army.

At the same time, a clear shattering sound reached everyone's ears. The Silent City's solid protective shield had been destroyed by the Returned Raze alone.

As the protective shield shattered, the concentrating mirrors and reflectors controlled by the Dark Creation, Argos, within the Silent City also shattered and disintegrated. Argos let out an angry howl before collapsing, gradually losing his life.

Without the shield, the shadow of Silent City finally solidified in the eyes of the demon army. This stable passage to other worlds, which the demons had coveted so much, was finally fully revealed to everyone.

The demon army burst into loud cheers, and without anyone urging them, the demon army behind Raze rushed towards the Silent City in front of them.

Just rush into the tower, climb up, and you will reach the new world!

As for the Returned Raze, she watched the hodgepodge of demons rushing past her toward the Silent City. Her eyes drooped slightly, and she whispered in a voice only she could hear: "How pathetic."

The next second, an electronically synthesized female voice sounded over the battlefield.

"Invaders detected, garrison, activate."

The sudden sound sobered up those guys who had lost their minds and made them remember that the Silent City was not an empty city without any defense force. The owner of this city was the famous Apostle Luke.
