While Lin Zhenxi was still pondering, Norni had already put her plans into action. She opened her hand, and a ball of light emerged from her palm. It quickly transformed into the shape of a staff and settled into place. Holding the staff, Norni's magic power surged even more intensely, amplified by the staff. With a wave of the staff, several circular, horizontal holes opened in the tunnel before them. A vast amount of mechanical debris leaked out of these portals, quickly forming a large pile on the ground before them.

These are all garbage piled up in the Time Square. Noelni used space magic to move them here to serve as roadblocks.

Compared to Lin Zhenxi's overly cautious approach, Norni was clearly more inclined to act first and then see what the situation presented. Lin Zhenxi saw that her approach was working well, so she joined in on the task of piling up the garbage to create a roadblock.

Noelni's talent in space manipulation is amazing. She can open multiple space doors at once, but it is difficult for Lin Zhenxi to do this.

Lin Zhenxi took two steps back and hid behind Nornie, revealing half of his head and looking at Princess Isabella quietly.

For some reason, Norni didn't want Princess Isabella and Lin Zhenxi to have too much contact. Moreover, Lin Zhenxi was still in an illusion state. If someone touched her, she would be exposed. So Norni stood in front of Princess Isabella and said to her, "We have set up a roadblock in front, but we don't think it can hold off those monsters for long. It's too narrow here, and it's not convenient for us to make any move. So we won't take action."

The most critical problem now is still those monsters. Princess Isabella has no idea about the enemies she is about to face. Now is not the time to get close to the two wild magicians. They have more important things to do.

Lin Zhenxi's explanation brightened Princess Isabella's expression slightly. She had actually been wondering all the way here if this was just a coincidence.
