On the morning of Taoyuan Star, light filtered through the gaps in the curtains onto the bed. Luo Qian opened her eyes, a trace of weariness still lingering in her dark pupils. What caught her eye was a familiar head of silver hair, scattered across her pillow like flowing moonlight.

Yu Zheng was looking at her, his eyes filled with smiles. He touched her cheek lightly with his fingertips, his voice low and hoarse with the sound of morning: "Good morning, Xixi."

Luo Xi rubbed her eyes with her hands, and the corners of her mouth curled up: "What time is it?"

"It's just past seven." Yu leaned over and touched her forehead with the tip of her nose. "The little one hasn't woken up yet."

Mentioning the cub, Rosie sat up suddenly, her black hair falling over her shoulders: "Today is Xiaoyu'er's birthday! I have to prepare breakfast-"

Before she finished speaking, Yu had already pulled her back into his arms, her silver hair falling down, covering their faces: "Don't worry, I've asked the kitchen to prepare it."

Rosie twisted her body, trying to escape, the sheets making a slight scraping sound as she struggled. But Yu didn't give her a chance, her arms clamped around her waist like an iron hoop, her silver hair brushing against her cheek, cool and gentle.

"Don't move." He whispered in her ear, his breath sliding across her earlobe, causing a slight tremor.

The bedside computer lit up at Yu's fingertips, and the projection unfolded. A carefully planned list appeared in the air - a customized birthday cake, a gift for Xiaoyuer, and a schedule for the visits of Kyle, Lingyuan, Xingyu, and others. Everything was in perfect order.

"Look, I've arranged everything." His voice was a little proud, and Ruifeng's eyes flashed with cunning.

Rosie was about to say something, but the next second her breath caught in her throat. Beneath the sheets, something cold and slippery wrapped around her calves and slowly climbed upwards. The fishtail of the rain appeared, no longer the inky black of the past, but now a shimmering, iridescent scales gleaming in the morning light. Each one seemed alive, moving in rhythm with his mood.

"What are you doing?" Rosie put her hands on his chest, but the fish tail wrapped around her tighter.

"I'll let you stay a little longer." Yu lowered her head, a dangerous arc appeared at the corner of her lips, and her Ruifeng eyes narrowed. "Or does Xixi want me to let go?"

He asked knowingly. The fish's tail slid restlessly against the inside of her thigh, the edge of its scales scraping lightly against her skin...

"Kyle and the others will be here soon." Rosie tried to change the subject, but her voice was trembling.

Yu chuckled, her fingertips brushing across her cheek and landing on the pulse at her neck: "Two more hours."

The fishtail tightened, and at the same time, he leaned forward, breathing together: "Enough for us to do a lot of things."

Rosie held her breath, feeling the pressure of the powerful fishtail. She knew she should get up and get ready, but her body betrayed her, choosing to surrender in this lopsided tug-of-war. She relaxed, her fingers running through the silver hair, feeling the silky touch.

"Only half an hour." She compromised, her dark eyes sparkling.

Yu smiled, a sense of victory and satisfaction flashing in his eyes: "As you command, my queen."

He lowered his head and kissed her, tightening his fishtail, entwining the two of them tightly together, as if he would never let go. This morning's tug-of-war ended with Rosie's surrender.

Half an hour later, Rosie finally escaped from her bed, hastily donning her nightgown. Her cheeks still flushed with arousal, her hair tangled over her shoulders. Yu lazily leaned against the headboard, her hair already gone, but the smug smile still lingered on her face.

"I agreed on half an hour." Rosie glared at him, but her voice held no threat.

Yu blinked, innocent yet dangerous: "You said it, not me."

The bathroom door opened, the sound of running water filling the air. Rosie stood under the shower, letting the hot water wash over her, trying to wash away the lingering sensation from her skin. The smell of rain, its warmth, its power—it was all seared into her very bones. The touch of the rainbow scales seemed to still linger around her legs, lingering.

She sighed, resting her forehead against the cold wall. The silver-haired man she had met in the abyss, nearly dead, had now become a part of her life, an inseparable part of her life. He had crawled back from the brink of death, freed himself from the curse, and, to find her, transcended the barriers of time and space.

The bathroom door was gently pushed open, and Yu appeared in the doorway. He was already dressed, his silver hair neatly combed back. His usual laziness was gone, replaced by a calmness that was almost elegant.

"Come on," he extended his hand, his eyes filled with mixed emotions, "our little fish can't wait to see his mother."

Luo Xi took the towel he handed her and dried herself. Yu looked at her quietly, his eyes as if they had substance, burning and focused.

"What are you thinking about?" she asked.

"I miss you," he whispered, reaching out to stroke her cheek, "I miss our past, present, and future."

Luo Xi's heart trembled. The man who once promised to "find her" in the turbulence of time and space was now standing in front of her, with deep affection in his eyes that had remained unchanged for thousands of years.

"Me too." She stood on tiptoe and placed a light kiss on his lips...
