In the interstellar void, the Atlantis fleet was deployed in front of Taoyuan Star's defense line. Under the brilliant starlight, the golden warships were arranged in neat rows, each one gleaming with the faint light of an energy shield.
"Report, the enemy is approaching the critical point!"
Orlando stood on the flagship's command deck, his blond hair stained dark red by the emergency lights. He stared intently at the void ahead, where a black ripple was expanding.
"All troops, prepare!" His voice was steady, but it couldn't conceal the solemnity in it.
At the center of the ripples, a massive, inky black ship slowly emerged. A strange, dark purple energy flowed across its surface, writhing like a living creature. A ferocious beast's head was carved into its prow, its eyes glowing bloodshot.
"That's..." the adjutant's voice trembled.
"Tim." Orlando gritted his teeth, "He really has merged with the Beast God's evil thoughts."
The next second, a black beam of light shot out from the enemy ship, piercing directly through the left wing of the Atlantis flagship. With the sound of tearing metal, the three warships instantly disintegrated, turning into dust in the universe.
"Defend! Defend with all your strength!"
Orlando commanded the fleet to counterattack, golden beams and black energy intertwining in space. But Atlantis's strongest firepower seemed like child's play in front of the black ship.
At the same time, the entire interstellar network was suddenly invaded by a powerful signal. Countless terminals lit up simultaneously, and Tim's face, distorted by the dark purple energy, appeared on every screen.
"Citizens of the Star Citizens, witness the birth of your new Beast God." His voice was low and twisted, stinging the eardrums of everyone who listened. "The old order will be destroyed, and a new era is about to begin."
He raised his hand, and black mist swirled in his palm.
"Saintess Rosie, do you hear me? The power of the Beast God is in my hands. I am the new God. Hand over the seven sacred objects and become my God Queen, or—witness the destruction of all you love."
The signal cut off, leaving the shocked interstellar inhabitants and dead silence.
The sky above Taoyuan Manor was covered with dark clouds.
"The transfer route has been cut off," Ling Yuan said, his finger swiping across the Star Brain projection, his voice calm, not sounding like he was facing a crisis. "Tim has intercepted all the departure points."
Rosie couldn't help but hold Caesar tightly in her arms, her fingertips feeling the fear surging beneath the cub's skin. Tiny black dragon scales appeared on the little guy's forehead, and his amber eyes stared warily out the window, just like his father.
Over there, Kyle stood in front of the French window, his obsidian eyes piercing the distant darkness. His shoulders were tense, and his still-wounded body showed signs of fatigue.
"Here he comes," Kyle turned, "prepare to fight."
Rosie's heartbeat quickened. She had read Kyle's unspoken words in his eyes the moment she met his gaze—the situation was worse than she had imagined.
"Xixi." Fan Xiao strode forward, his silver hair fluttering like snow as he turned quickly. "Ling Yuan and I will cover your escape."
Ling Yuan nodded, his red eyes flashing: "Take Caesar with you, the cubs have been sent to a safe place."
Rosie was about to respond when the roof was torn apart by an invisible force, sending debris flying. A wave of dark purple energy surged in, enveloping the entire sky. Caesar roared in her arms, his face completely covered in dragon scales.
Tim hovered in mid-air, his once-handsome face now distorted and eroded by dark purple energy, his eyes gleaming with blood. Encased in black armor, he looked like a demon crawling from hell. Behind him, dozens of merman warriors, weapons in hand, their fish tails transformed into legs, stood grimly in mid-air.
"Saintess, long time no see." Tim's voice was as harsh as the friction of metal. "It seems that your partners are all here. Great, it saves me the trouble of searching one by one."
Rosie felt a chill creep up her spine, and she instinctively took a step back. Unlike before, Tim now exuded not only evil, but a kind of madness that destroyed everything.
Lu Ye stood in front of Luo Xi, with golden flames burning in his peach blossom eyes: "Tim, you dare!"
His back looked so thin in Rosie's eyes, but he didn't retreat at all in the face of Tim's huge pressure.
"Three elements, ninth level?" Tim smiled, his smile so twisted that it was almost unrecognizable as a human. "Ant."
He flicked his finger, and a black light shot out. Lu Ye formed a seal, and a golden barrier took shape.
boom!
Luo Xi could hardly see what was happening. She only saw Lu Ye staggering back, blood oozing from the corner of his mouth, but he was still standing stubbornly.
"Is this the power you're so proud of?" Lu Ye wiped off the blood and his three powers erupted simultaneously. "I'm so disappointed!"
Rosie saw his fire, thunder, and wind powers intertwine, forming a golden storm that rushed straight towards Tim. At that moment, he was like lighting his own fireworks, dazzling but short-lived.
Tim didn't even bother to defend himself. He released black and purple energy, and Lu Ye's attack disappeared without a trace.
“That’s power.”
The black light flashed again, and Lu Ye was hit in the chest. The chariot champion's body flew out like a kite with a broken string. Luo Xi's throat tightened and she almost cried out.
Xuan Qi leaped up and caught the falling Lu Ye. His seven supernatural powers activated simultaneously, a colorful halo emanating from his body, his aura as powerful as a rainbow.
"Master," Xuan Qi handed Lu Ye to Xing Yu, his eyes full of determination, "Please step back."
Luo Xi tried to hold him back, but Xuan Qi had already transformed into a streak of white light and rushed towards Tim. The seven-colored supernatural power drew a brilliant trajectory in the air, and the demon-slaying sword was unsheathed, its golden sword gleaming like a rainbow.
Tim's eyes flashed with surprise: "Seven-element psychic? Interesting."
The moment the two clashed, Rosie could feel the tremors of the air being torn apart. The mysterious sword technique flowed like flowing water, the seven supernatural powers working in perfect harmony, each strike imbued with terrifying power. Tim was initially suppressed, and a glimmer of hope rose in Rosie's heart.
But soon, hope was dashed. After Tim adjusted, the black and purple energy transformed into a sharp blade and collided with the demon slayer. The sound of metal and energy colliding pierced his eardrums.
"You're very strong," Tim said with admiration, "but it's a pity—"
Before he finished speaking, he suddenly accelerated, and a black light surged from his palm, striking Xuanqi's chest directly. Luo Qian only heard a muffled sound, and Xuanqi's seven-series superpowers collapsed instantly. Blood gushed from his mouth, and his tall body flew out like a broken tree trunk.
Tim stood proudly in the air, his body wrapped in black and purple energy like an evil god descending to the earth.
"Who else?"
He was answered by two intertwining torrents of energy. The red spider lily on Xingyu's forehead blossomed with a blood-red glow, and thousands of ice blades condensed in the air. Lingyuan's eyes were as red as torches, and nine phantom fox tails spread out behind him. Each attack carried a shockwave strong enough to shatter the soul.
The brothers joined forces, one with ice and the other with fire, and their attack was extremely fierce.
Tim raised an eyebrow, and tiny cracks appeared on the dark purple energy shell. "The Beast Temple and the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan... they truly live up to their reputation."
The Higanbana mark between Xingyu's eyebrows fully activated, and he instantly transformed into a streak of white light. The next second, a kilometer-wide area was blanketed in frigid ice crystals, even the air freezing in place. Tim's movements faltered slightly, and Lingyuan suddenly struck, his nine fox tails simultaneously piercing the opponent's mental barrier.
boom!
Tim stumbled back, cracks spreading across his energy shell.
"Now!"
Fan Xiao's silver hair flew, and his figure flashed like lightning, instantly appearing behind Tim. His wind energy condensed into a powerful attack, and countless wind blades whistled towards him.
Tim roared to the sky, and a burst of black and purple energy erupted. The four warriors were simultaneously blown away, blood spurting from their mouths.
"No!" Luo Xi's heart ached and she subconsciously rushed forward.
Kyle grabbed her wrist. "Don't come over here!" he said in a low voice, anger burning in his eyes. "He's not someone you can handle!"
Tim approached the four injured men, a cruel smile on his lips. "Is this your limit? How disappointing."
Golden light broke through the air, and the tip of the trident pointed directly at Tim's throat.
"Tim, stop!" Admiral Mike's eyes were cold, "I won't give you the chance to hurt Sissi!"
"Just you?" Tim sneered.
The trident shone brightly as the two powerful mermaids clashed, sending ripples of energy ripples across the air. Mike fought with all his might, but could only manage a relentless counterattack.
"Hurry!" he shouted over his shoulder, "Take Sissi away! I'll hold him back!"
Kyle pulled Rosie up and turned around, but Tim laughed wildly and broke free from Mike, "Too late!"
The dark purple energy transformed into countless tentacles, lashing out at Mike, sending him flying. The aftermath of the energy swept across, knocking everyone to the ground.
Luo Xi slumped to the ground, her chest gripped tightly, her breathing becoming labored. Scenes flashed before her eyes—Lu Ye lying in a pool of blood, Xuan Qi's chest pierced, Ling Yuan and Xing Yu barely holding each other up, Admiral Mike half-knelt on the ground, golden blood streaming from his forehead...
Kyle slowly stood up, his obsidian eyes blazing with black flames. His armor automatically unfolded, covering his entire body, and he exuded a suffocating pressure.
"Marshal Kyle, the God of War?" Tim laughed with his head tilted back. "Come on, let me see how many of your attacks you can block!"
The two Saint-level warriors instantly clashed, their black and dark-purple energies intertwining and colliding, each contact causing spatial tremors. Kyle's attacks were fierce, but his previous injuries from the alien realm clearly hindered him. Tim's power surged after integrating with the Beast God's evil will, and he gradually gained the upper hand.
"Kyle!" Rosie shouted, her voice breaking.
She watched her companions fall one by one. Lu Ye's face, always smiling with peach blossom eyes, was now horribly pale. Xuan Qi's body, once as straight as a mountain, was now covered in wounds. Ling Yuan and Xing Yu struggled to hold on, Admiral Mike tried to rise again despite his injuries... And Kyle, the always omnipotent god of war, was now being suppressed by Tim and retreated step by step.
She had never felt so hopeless and powerless.
Nearby, Enzo quietly stood up, the Qilin tattoo on his chest fully revealed, glowing red and burning like magma. His gaze shifted between Rosie's desperate expression and Kyle's retreating form, a flicker of determination in his eyes.
"It's time..." he whispered, his voice almost inaudible.
