At the last moment before departure, Luo Xi held Ling Yuan's hand, her eyes firm but with reluctance. Her fingertips brushed across his palm, leaving a trace of warmth.

"Take good care of the home and the children." Her voice was soft, but every word was clear.

Ling Yuan's red eyes flickered, his Adam's apple rolling. He wanted to follow, to stay by her side, but reason told him he couldn't. Taoyuan Star needed management, the children needed care, and the burden of staying behind fell solely on his shoulders.

"I will." He replied in a low voice, stroking the back of her hand with his thumb. "Just focus on doing what you want to do and come back."

Luo Qian looked up at him, the reluctance in Ling Yuan's eyes almost overflowing. She knew he wanted to go with her, but Taoyuan Star needed someone to manage it, and the children needed to be taken care of. He was the only one who was suitable to stay and look after the family.

"I'll be back soon." Luo Xi stood on tiptoe and kissed Ling Yuan lightly on the cheek.

Ling Yuan's red eyes flickered slightly, and his fingers unconsciously touched the place where she kissed.

"Sissi, are you ready?" Kyle's voice came from the entrance of the starship, interrupting the two people's farewell.

Luo Xi nodded and turned to prepare to board the ship. Ling Yuan's fingers grabbed her wrist at the last moment, then quickly let go.

"Wait, where's Caesar?" Kyle suddenly frowned and looked around. "He was here just now."

Rosie's heart tightened. "Caesar?"

Kyle's eyes glared, and a dark aura instantly spread from his body. "That kid."

The next second, Kyle strode towards the starship with quick, decisive movements. He reached into the shadows beside the hatch and pulled a dark figure out from the darkness.

“Roar—” The little black dragon struggled in Kyle’s hands, waving its claws wildly.

"Caesar!" Rosie exclaimed, "Why are you here?"

Caesar was held in mid-air by Kyle, his black scales gleaming coldly in the sunlight. He bared his teeth, but didn't dare to lose his temper with Kyle. He could only look at Rosie with grievance.

"Mom, don't go." The little black dragon suddenly transformed into a human form, a little boy with black hair and amber eyes, tears in his eyes, "Caesar, go with Mom."

Rosie softened her heart and reached out to take the child, but was stopped by Kyle.

"No." Kyle's voice was cold and hard. "The alien region is too dangerous. It's not a place for children to go."

"But it will be dangerous for Mom to go!" Caesar struggled, his face flushed. "Caesar must protect Mom!"

Kyle raised his eyebrows and looked at this smaller version of himself. A hint of approval flashed in his eyes, but his tone was still stern: "Your biggest responsibility now is to be obedient and stay home."

"No!" Caesar shook his head stubbornly, tears welling up in his eyes. "Mom took a long time to come back last time, and now she's leaving again. Caesar doesn't want Mom to leave!"

Rosie looked at her son distressedly, walked over and stroked his hair. "Caesar, Mommy will be back soon, okay?"

"No!" The little boy shook his head stubbornly, his little hands tightly grasping the corner of Rosie's clothes, "Caesar wants to be with his mother."

Ling Yuan stepped forward, tenderness in his red eyes: "Caesar, didn't you say you would be a big brother and protect your younger siblings? If you leave too, who will take care of them?"

Caesar blinked, seeming to think about this.

"Besides," Ling Yuan continued, "Didn't you promise to help me take care of Ling Xing? She's only six months old and needs you as a brother."

Caesar bit his lower lip, and the determination in his eyes gradually wavered.

"Caesar," Kyle suddenly spoke in a deep voice. "A true warrior knows when to fight and when to defend the rear. Right now, your battlefield is at home."

The little boy looked up at his father, tears finally falling from his eyes. He let go of Rosie's clothes and clenched his little hands into fists.

"Mom must come back." Caesar's voice trembled, but he tried to appear strong. "Caesar is waiting for Mom at home."

Luo Xi squatted down and hugged her son tightly in her arms. "Mom promises that she will come back."

Caesar nodded in her arms, put his little hands around her neck, and whispered in her ear: "Mommy, be careful. Daddy will protect you for me."

Luo Xi kissed her son's forehead and handed him to Ling Yuan. Caesar stopped struggling and just stared at Luo Xi, his eyes full of reluctance.

"It's time." Kyle reminded, "We should set off."

Luo Xi took one last look at Ling Yuan and Caesar before turning to board the starship. Before the hatch slowly closed, she saw Caesar break free from Ling Yuan's embrace, transform back into his black dragon form, and soar high into the sky. He crouched atop Taoyuan Star's tallest observation tower, watching the starship depart.

The starship slowly ascended. Rosie peered through the porthole, watching the gradually shrinking figure below. Ling Yuan stood still, the reluctance in his red eyes clearly visible; Caesar crouched on the tower, his black dragon form striking in the sunlight.

"They'll be fine." Kyle said from behind her, "Lingyuan is reliable."

Luo Xi nodded, but couldn't look away. She didn't turn around until Taoyuan Star became a tiny dot in the distance...

……

Ling Yuan stood atop Taoyuan Star's tower, watching the starship disappear into the vast universe. Only when the last ray of light was swallowed by darkness did he retract his gaze and turn toward the elevator.

The elevator doors slid open silently, and Ling Yuan stepped into the spacious living room. He immediately spotted Caesar playing lovingly with Ling Xing. The little black dragon had transformed into a humanoid, with black hair and amber eyes, a striking resemblance to Kyle. He carefully teased Ling Xing with a toy, causing the infant to giggle.

Ling Yuan relaxed slightly. At least Caesar didn't make a fuss. If this Saint-level talent got angry, even he would have a headache.

"Caesar, take good care of your sister." Ling Yuan instructed gently, "I'm going to take care of some work."

Caesar looked up and nodded obediently: "I understand, Uncle Lingyuan."

Ling Yuan smiled with satisfaction and turned to go to the study. A butler robot appeared silently and took over the task of looking after the children.

The study door closed behind him. Ling Yuan breathed a sigh of relief and rubbed his temples. Luo Xi's journey was dangerous, and while he wanted to accompany her, he also understood his responsibilities. Protecting Taoyuan Star and caring for the children were the heavy responsibilities Luo Xi had entrusted to him.

He sat down at his desk, and the holographic screen lit up. Various data and reports flooded in. Ling Yuan frowned slightly and began to deal with the mountain of work.

In the living room, Caesar was still playing with Lingxing. The baby babbled softly, stretching out his chubby little hands to grasp his brother's fingers.

Caesar looked down at his sister, a dark glint in his eyes...
