As night fell, Rosie leaned against the headboard, the book in her hands rising and falling with her breathing. The gentle lapping of the sea against the window frame felt like a lullaby. Before she knew it, she had fallen into a deep sleep. The book slipped from her hands and landed gently on the carpet beside the bed.

Rosie's sleeping face was peaceful, her long eyelashes casting a faint shadow in the light. She dreamed that she was back in the Free Federation, strolling through the manor.

In her dream, she seemed to see her companions, Fan Zuo and Fan You throwing themselves into her arms, and the little black dragon cub that hadn't been named yet...

Suddenly, a strange smell woke her up.

Rosie opened her eyes suddenly and saw Orlando's angular face close to her.

His short blue hair fluttered in the water, and his coral crown shone with a faint light.

"What are you doing here?" Rosie curled up warily, her voice trembling unconsciously.

She had an instinctive fear of this man.

Seeing him, I couldn't help but recall that day at the gate of the Sea God Temple. His Majesty the Sea King simply waved his hand lightly, and the ferocious sea beast turned into a cloud of blood mist and dissipated in the sea water.

But from beginning to end, his expression was cold, and there was no fluctuation in his eyes, as if he had just casually crushed an ant.

That kind of absolute power and coldness made her shudder whenever she thought about it.

But she knew that she couldn't show weakness, otherwise, she would be at the mercy of others.

Even though she was scared to death, she still forced herself not to look away.

But Orlando's face was so close that she could feel his strong aura.

That breath is accompanied by a faint cold fragrance...

This person, even his aura, gives people the feeling of being cold and hard.

The two of them were deadlocked for a while, and it was His Majesty the Sea King who spoke slowly and broke the deadlock that had inexplicably begun between the two of them.

"Your Excellency, have you made up your mind?"

It would have been fine if he hadn't said it, but this was the question he asked as soon as he opened his mouth.

Luo Xi's heart suddenly surged with anger, and even her fear of him diminished a little: "What are you thinking about? Dedicating yourself to the future of your Sea God clan?"

She looked Orlando straight in the eye and said sarcastically, "Why?"

Orlando looked into those clear and stubborn eyes, and a strange emotion arose in his heart.

He took a step forward, his tall body looming over Luo Xi's slender figure: "Why?"

The corners of his mouth curled up in a mocking arc: "Even if you are in my hands, even if the three empires join forces, they still can't take you away from me."

Luo Xi tried hard not to show weakness, but her voice was trembling. "So what? You are the Lord of the Empire. Can you still force me?"

Orlando's hands behind his back were stroking the bracelet, his eyes flickering. Rosie felt the pressure in his gaze and involuntarily shrank back.

The air seemed to freeze as the two stared at each other in a silent contest. Rosie bit her lip nervously, her heart pounding like a drum.

Orlando looked at her for a long moment, then turned and strode away. His tall figure passed through the coral porch and disappeared into the darkness.

Luo Xi let out a long sigh and collapsed on the bed, her slender fingers unconsciously stroking the hem of her skirt.

Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded in her mind, with a hint of hesitation in the cold mechanical voice.

"Host, I have to go back to the headquarters to report." 001's voice sounded a little melancholy.

"Debriefing? Why?"

"Nothing, just a regular work report. I have to make those pesky PowerPoint presentations again. I'm so fed up!"

001 The wailing sound at this time contained more than 99% of cattle and horses.

However, this was not the first day that Rosie had known it, and she keenly noticed that there was something wrong hidden in the mechanical sound of its tablet.

"You don't want me to worry, right? But if you don't tell the truth, I might get even more worried if I just guess randomly."

001 remained silent, seemingly unwilling to give a direct answer.

Luo Xi sighed: "Just like you would worry about me and think about me, if you don't say anything, do you think I will let you report for any damn job without worrying about it?"

"Alright, I'll tell you what I'm doing." 001 paused and said lightly, "It's nothing, really. We've just overdrawn our points a few times recently, and they had nothing to do, so they asked me to go back and report on these things."

Luo Xi's heart tightened: "I'm sorry, 001, I've caused you trouble."

"It doesn't matter. We are one and the same. If I let anything happen to you, I won't suffer any consequences either."

Although Rosie couldn't see it, she could imagine 001's indifferent expression at the moment.

"Will you be punished?"

001: "No, at most I'll just write a self-criticism and receive a criticism notice or something like that."

Its voice became a little cocky: "Okay, my time is up, I can't say anymore. If you really miss me, just leave a message with my name, and I'll see it when I get back."

My originally sad mood was ruined by it.

Luo Xi: "...Go ahead, I'll wait for you to come back."

There was no sound, no feeling, but Rosie knew that 001 had left. She looked at the empty room and listened to the sound of the sea hitting the window frames.

Now, she is alone.

Rosie's gaze fell on the vast ocean outside the window.

Since coming to Interstellar, 001 has always been with her.

Now that even 001 was gone, she felt a loneliness she had never felt before.

She touched her slightly bulging belly and said, "Now you are the only one accompanying your mother..."

……

In the corridors of the Coral Palace, a team of mermaid guards were on routine patrol. Clad in silver scale armor and wielding tridents, their tails rhythmically swayed, drawing graceful arcs through the water. Coral lamps cast a soft glow, illuminating the vibrant colors of the underwater flora on either side of the corridor.

Suddenly, a tall figure swam toward them from a distance. It was a blond, blue-eyed man with a sturdy build, his imposing figure enhanced by his crisp, dark blue military uniform. His golden hair flowed gracefully in the water, and his blue eyes were as deep as the ocean. This man was none other than Admiral Mike.

The guards immediately stopped and saluted respectfully. Their tails slightly bent, their right hands touched their chests, and they shouted in unison: "Sir!"

Mike nodded slightly in response, his gaze sweeping over each guard with a look of scrutiny. Then, he asked, "Where is the Holy Lady now?" His voice was deep and powerful, rippling through the water.

The leading guard immediately replied, "Reporting to the General, Her Highness the Saint is in the back garden with her maid."

Mike nodded, a complex expression flashing in his eyes. He waved his hand for the guards to withdraw, and swam towards the back garden. His movements were graceful and powerful, his golden tail gleaming brightly in the water.

Mike was feeling a little complicated at this moment.

This was the first time he had seen Rosie since she was brought to the underwater palace.

Passing through the winding coral corridor, Mike arrived at the entrance of the garden.

Colorful little fish float in the sea water, swimming among the corals, adding a bit of vitality to this underwater world.

From a distance, he saw a slender figure standing in a colorful coral reef, with long hair floating gently in the water.

Her back looked particularly thin, as if a gust of current could sweep her away.

Mike couldn't help but frown. She seemed... much thinner than before.

Mike felt as if his heart was stabbed by a rusty, blunt knife.

He was the one who brought her here.

His once vibrant figure now exuded a sense of fragility.

Just as Mike was lost in thought, Rosie suddenly turned around in the garden. Her action caught Mike off guard and he subconsciously hid behind a coral rockery nearby.

Mike, hiding behind the rockery, held his breath and carefully observed the movements in the garden.

In the garden of the underwater palace, the coral lamps emitted a soft light, illuminating Luo Xi's thin figure. He Miao carefully swam to Luo Xi's side, holding a delicate shell plate.

"Your Highness, this is the freshest clam meat today. Please have a taste." He Miao's voice was full of worry. She looked at Luo Xi's increasingly haggard face and felt sad.

Luo Xi shook her head slightly, a forced smile on her pale face: "Thank you, He Miao. But I really can't get used to it, you can take it away."

He Tu swam forward and tried to persuade him, "Your Highness, how about you try some vegetarian food? We've prepared some seaweed salad, which is very light."

"I really can't eat anymore. Don't bother me anymore." Rosie's voice was weak. She turned and looked into the distance, her eyes full of longing for the Earth.

The two maids exchanged a glance, worry written all over their faces. Just as they were about to clear their plates and leave, a tall figure emerged from behind the rockery.

"Admiral!" Hetu and Hemiao saluted respectfully upon seeing Mike. Their tails curved slightly, and their right hands gently touched their chests.

Admiral Mike's status in the Atlantis Empire was second only to that of the Sea Emperor, and his prestige was extremely high. Coupled with the fact that Young Emperor Rein had been in poor health, many people believed that Mike was the more suitable candidate to inherit the throne of Sea Emperor.

Mike nodded slightly, signaling the two maids to stand up. His eyes swept over them, finally landing on Rosie's back in the distance.

"How is the Saint Lady doing lately?" There was a barely perceptible concern in Mike's deep voice.

He Tu and He Miao exchanged a glance and told the truth, "Reporting to the General, Her Highness the Saint Female doesn't seem to be adapting to the food here. She has had a poor appetite recently and has lost a lot of weight. We are very worried."

Mike frowned, a complex emotion flashing in his blue eyes. He waved his hand to signal the two maids to leave, and then he slowly walked towards Rosie.

Rosie stood alone in the garden, her eyes a little confused.

She had never missed the delicacies of Blue Planet so much, especially those delicious carbohydrates. If this continued, she might become the first Saint Female to starve to death.

Suddenly, the sound of flowing water came from behind me.

Rosie thought it was the maids coming back, but when she turned around, she saw someone she didn't expect.

Admiral Mike stood there, his blond hair gleaming softly in the light of the seabed. His tall, straight figure contrasted sharply with the soft corals around him, and his blue eyes seemed to contain complex emotions.

Michael's blue eyes locked onto Luo Xi's slender figure, and his deep voice echoed in the seabed: "Your Excellency, it's been a long time since we last met."

Luo Xi turned around and saw the dazzling golden hair, her heart tightened. She raised her chin and curled the corners of her mouth into a sneer: "It's better not to meet people like the general."

Mike's fingers unconsciously tightened, his knuckles turning white. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his inner turmoil. "Your Excellency, I want to take you somewhere."

Luo Xi stared at him warily, a hint of doubt flashing in her eyes: "Where?"

"Trust me, you'll love it."

Rosie's first reaction was to refuse. After all, it was this man who had brought her to this strange underwater world. If it weren't for him, she would have returned to the Federation long ago and reunited with her partner and cubs.

She wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

However, when the words came to her lips, she hesitated.

Rosie narrowed her eyes slightly, studying Mike's resolute face. She raised an eyebrow, her tone tinged with sarcasm, "Alright, I'd like to see what the general has up his sleeve."

Admiral Mike extended his hand and gestured "please." Rosie hesitated for a moment, then followed him.

Mike glanced at her and raised his hand slightly downwards. Warm water instantly enveloped Rosie's petite body and carried her rapidly upwards.

All around her, Rosie was dazzled by the sight of all sorts of marine life: schools of colorful fish, swaying seaweed, and shimmering corals. She was in awe of this magical underwater world.

Suddenly, the sunlight filtering through the water came into view, and Rosie's heartbeat quickened as she realized she was about to return to the surface world.

Under Mike's guidance, Rosie broke through the water. The salty sea breeze blew in her face, and she greedily breathed in the fresh air, as if to sweep away the depression she had felt for half a month.

Mike didn't stop. He used his water power to carry Rosie forward. The sea shimmered, and the outline of land was faintly visible in the distance...

……

Inside the magnificent Poseidon Temple, Orlando sat on a throne inlaid with coral and pearls. Beneath his short blue hair, his brow furrowed slightly, his eyes as deep as the sea. The rippling waters of the temple reflected the shimmering light of countless night-shining pearls, adding a touch of dreamlike charm to this solemn place.

In the hall, a guard knelt on one knee, his tail trembling slightly on the ground, showing his inner uneasiness.

"Your Majesty, Admiral Michael has taken Her Excellency the Saint out of the palace."

Orlando's eyes instantly turned cold, a sharp light flashing in his blue pupils. His voice was like a cold current from the deep sea, piercing and cold: "Why didn't you stop him?"

The guard's body trembled slightly, cold sweat oozing from his forehead. He felt the wrath of the Sea Emperor, as if the water temperature in the entire hall had suddenly dropped.

"Admiral Mike is using his supernatural powers, so we can't get close at all." The guard explained, his voice full of helplessness and fear.

Orlando's expression was unpredictable. His gaze passed through the ripples, looking toward the surface, as if he were pondering something. The hall fell into a brief silence, with only the gentle sound of flowing water echoing.

After a long while, Orlando spoke again, his voice still cold: "Go down."

The guards retreated hastily as if they had been pardoned, as if they couldn't wait to escape this suffocating space.

Orlando stood up and looked at the crystal ball in the hall, a strange look flashing in his eyes.
