Luo Xi listened quietly to He Tu and He Miao's story, her brows furrowed slightly as she nodded thoughtfully. The war situation was more complicated than she had imagined. Just as she was about to ask for more details, a strange creature suddenly appeared in their sight.

It was a chubby blue creature, about a meter long. It resembled a sea lion from the Blue Planet, yet something else remained. Its body was a beautiful sky-blue, shimmering softly in the sunlight. Most striking were its large, round eyes, radiating an innocent expression, as pure and adorable as a puppy.

This strange creature ran towards them happily, its funny and cute appearance making Rosie smile. Although its movements were clumsy, it was full of joy. Its round body rolled on the ground, leaving a string of bubbles.

Luo Xi looked at the little guy curiously, and couldn't help but feel a strange feeling in her heart. In this unfamiliar place, she was always on guard and cautious, not daring to relax for a moment. Only such a cute little guy could make her let down her guard for a short time.

Rosie crouched down, held out her hand, and tentatively approached the small blue creature. Her voice was soft and full of curiosity: "Where are you from, little one?"

The little guy seemed to be excited by Rosie's touch, rolling happily at her feet, leaving behind a string of crystal bubbles. Rosie couldn't help but laugh softly. This was the first time she felt such pure happiness since arriving in this strange place.

There was a huge coral rockery next to Luo Xi. He Tu and He Miao didn't see the little guy just now because the rockery blocked their view. Only when Luo Xi squatted down did they notice him.

He Tu exclaimed in surprise, "Your Highness Hu Hu, why are you here?"

Luo Xi looked at Hetu in confusion, "You call it... Your Highness?"

He Miao explained: "It is a sea blue dog, an eighth-level sea spirit beast, extremely rare and precious."

Luo Xi suddenly understood. As the owner of three spirit beasts, she knew their value. She couldn't help but ask, "Such precious spirit beasts, don't they have someone to look after them?"

A hint of displeasure flashed across He Miao's face. She whispered, "His Highness Hu Hu is usually attended to by a dedicated staff. I wonder what those people were doing to allow it to get here. If the nobles knew that they had failed to take good care of His Highness Hu Hu, I'm afraid we would also be implicated."

Luo Xi frowned, secretly surprised. The strict rules here reminded her of the various rules of the ancient Chinese court. She realized that in this country, females did not seem to be treated favorably, but could be punished at any time.

"You should send it back." Rosie suggested softly, with a hint of sympathy in her tone.

Upon hearing this, He Miao immediately ordered, "He Tu, go and return it. And by the way, check who was so careless on duty that such a mistake occurred."

Luo Xi silently observed He Miao, keenly aware of He Miao's true intention in making this arrangement. Clearly, He Miao was on guard against her, worried that she would use this opportunity to send them away and escape. However, Luo Xi knew that even if they left, she would have nowhere to escape.

He Tu responded and stepped forward, reaching out to pick up Hu Hu. Unexpectedly, Hu Hu suddenly opened his mouth and shot an ice arrow towards He Tu. He Tu dodged in surprise, only to see Hu Hu quickly turn around, happily running towards Luo Xi, and affectionately rubbing the hem of her skirt.

"Hmm..." Hu Hu made a strange sound, as if he was acting coquettishly.

Rosie looked down at the cute little guy, but a hint of doubt arose in her heart.

What is this sound?

Could it be the legendary Yingying monster?

She couldn't help but smile. The sound reminded her of the cubs far away in the Federation, and a sense of melancholy suddenly welled up in her heart. She bent down and gently stroked Hu Hu's head.

Huhu seemed to enjoy Luo Xi's caress and unconsciously rubbed his head against her hand. He squinted his eyes comfortably and even turned over to expose his soft belly, inviting Luo Xi to continue caressing him.

He Tu and He Miao exchanged surprised glances. They both knew Hu Hu was always aloof and had never been so close to anyone. This scene was incredible to them.

Just then, a figure swam gracefully through the coral reef.

"Hu Hu." The man called softly, his voice like the purest pearls on the seabed, elegant and pleasant.

Rosie looked up and was stunned.

The beauty in front of me is as extraordinary and gorgeous as an ocean elf, so beautiful that it makes one's heart beat faster.

Her long blue hair flowed like seaweed, swaying with the waves in the deep ocean. Her skin was as clear as jade, with faint blue veins visible at her neck, appearing even more translucent under the dazzling shimmer of the seabed, as if one could peer through the thin layer of flesh to see the pulse within. Her face was a divine masterpiece, its features so exquisite that they seemed to have been sculpted by the god of the sea himself. You could screenshot it frame by frame, each a masterpiece worthy of being treasured.

The beauty swims slowly, her graceful movements dazzling the eyes. Each movement creates a string of crystalline bubbles, which sparkle like pearls in the colorful underwater world.

Luo Xi couldn't help but hold her breath, fearing that she would disturb this dreamlike beauty.

She even had an illusion that the beauty in front of her was not real at all, but some kind of illusory mirage.

He Tu and He Miao were about to salute, but were stopped by the beauty's faint look.

Their movements froze in mid-air, not daring to move. Clearly, this beauty's status was extraordinary.

"Thank you for helping me find Huhu." The beauty said gracefully, her voice like the most pleasant music under the sea.

Luo Xi finally recovered from her shock and replied calmly, "No...you're welcome."

"My name is Laing."
