Fred turned to look at his good friend and saw the dejected George.

Not surprisingly, I saw the expressionless Marshal.

My heart, hanging in the air, fell to the ground in an instant.

"Master Marshal... hehe... are you coming to eat too?"

Marshal Kyle said nothing, but looked at the light screen that had shrunk to the size of Fred's palm with his dark eyes.

I don’t know if it’s because he’s on the battlefield, but Marshal Kyle is dressed in military uniform, and there’s a bit more murderous intent between his brows than usual.

"Make that bigger."

"Okay, okay, Marshal, I'll turn it off right away..." Halfway through his sentence, Fred realized what was happening and abruptly changed his words. His tongue was almost tied because he was so anxious: "No, Marshal, I mean I'll enlarge it right away!"

When the light screen was enlarged and the figure he had been thinking about day and night appeared, Kyle's face, which usually did not have much expression, was actually filled with a subtle warmth in his eyes.

"If... I'm giving a gift to a female, what should I choose?" Marshal Kyle asked with some distress.

He found that Sissi didn't seem to like the gifts he gave her.

At least he had never seen her wear it once in the recent videos.

Is it because the gift he gave was not what I wanted?

Fred suspected that he had heard it wrong, but when he saw his best friend's affirmative look, he was sure that the marshal was really asking him.

Sure enough, males are different when they have females, and even their marshal is no exception.

"Marshal, you're right to ask me this question." Fred spoke confidently.

George, who had been as quiet as a chicken, looked up at his best friend in shock when he heard this.

The expression on his face read, "What nonsense are you talking about? Aren't you like me, a perpetual bachelor who can't even see a breathing female?"

Fred didn't even look at him. "Marshal, as the saying goes, gifts are the best way for men to beautify themselves. The more expensive the gift, the more it pleases a female. And what do females need most? Green crystals that can prolong life, of course! Marshal, you can give more green crystals, especially high-grade green crystals. I believe no female would dislike them!"

Kyle was silent after hearing this: "Can green crystal be considered a gift?"

Fred & George: How can a green crystal not be considered a gift? Even though they are single, they have never eaten pork, but they have seen pigs run.

They also heard that in some families, a fifth- or sixth-level green crystal could gain three days of favor from their female partner.

But then they thought, among the four partners that Goddess Sissi had already made public, none of them was easy to mess with. They had wealth, power, status and strength.

Maybe green crystal is really worthless in the goddess's house.

The kind you can soak in water and drink for fun.

Marshal Kyle was obviously not very interested: "Besides the green crystal, what else can you give me?"

Fred and George looked at each other, wanting to tell the Marshal that he had asked the wrong person. We ordinary people don't understand the affairs of your circle.

At most, when taking a female to a luxury store, he would arrogantly tell the clerk: "Please help me pick up all the items on the top row!"

But since the Marshal had spoken, Fred racked his brains to think about it.

He had an idea. Since he didn't like the ordinary things, he might as well try something extraordinary: "Marshal, don't you have several planets with primitive life? How about..."

Kyle's dark eyes flashed with an imperceptible light when he heard this. If he hadn't told him, he would have forgotten that although he had become a partner with the little female, he seemed to have not yet handed over his property as per custom.

Fred's words reminded him.

Marshal Kyle has always been a man of action, and he does what he thinks.

He immediately made an interstellar call to his lawyer, asking him to sort out all his property and prepare to hand it over to the little female.

And just after he hung up the call with his lawyer, his personal star brain rang again.

It was Adjutant Troy.

"Marshal, the generals are already in place. The combat meeting is ready. Marshal, please move to the combat command room."

……

Marshal Kyle strode into the combat command room, his gaze sweeping across the room. His tall, upright figure and stern expression betrayed his unquestionable majesty and power. Several admirals and Trojan lieutenants rose to their feet, solemnly greeting this aloof yet powerful commander.

"Hello, Marshal!" Several generals greeted in unison.

Kyle nodded slightly, his sharp eyes sweeping over everyone present.

Adjutant Troy spoke first, but his usually smiling face now took on a serious expression. "Marshal, our attack has been in vain again. The people in the Chaos Star Region have undergone a large-scale evacuation, leaving us with only an empty fortress."

Kyle's eyes turned to his capable adjutant, but he didn't rush to speak.

"Their actions don't conform to conventional combat patterns," Troy continued. "They don't look like they're preparing for a direct battle, but more like they're stalling for time... I don't want to make unnecessary speculations without a precise explanation, but I feel like the actions of the Chaos Star Region don't make sense. They seem to have... other motives."

There was silence in the meeting room as the generals pondered Troy's words.

Admiral Trey was the first to break the silence. He was usually rather irritable, and now he seemed even more anxious. "Instead of letting them continue to tease us, why not attack their lair directly? Destroy their lair, and I wonder what else they can do to fight us!"

"That's too reckless," another admiral objected immediately. "The Chaos Star Region's base is entirely covered in rubble. It's too dangerous for an unfamiliar terrain. A reckless attack would be tantamount to seeking our own death."

"We can't keep being led around by the nose by them!" Admiral Trey slammed the table excitedly, his voice echoing throughout the conference room. "Every day of delay is a huge drain on us."

"But attacking their lair isn't the only way to solve the problem," another admiral responded calmly. "We should first understand their true purpose before making any plans."

The argument between the two admirals escalated, and the atmosphere in the conference room grew increasingly tense. Admiral Trey's face flushed crimson as he angrily accused them, "Are we just going to let them lead us by the nose? I simply cannot accept being toyed with by a bunch of filthy rats who only deserve to live in the sewers!"

"Admiral Trey, don't get excited." Adjutant Troy interrupted, his tone still gentle, "The situation is not that bad."

Marshal Kyle listened quietly, his gaze shifting between the admirals, as if weighing each one's stance and opinion. He knew it was time for him to make a decision.

"Enough." Marshal Kyle said coldly. His voice was not loud, and even his tone was no different from usual, but it easily penetrated the entire room. "Admiral Trey and my personal guards will directly attack the base in the Chaos Star Region. The rest of you will stay behind."

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone's face changed drastically, including Admiral Trey who had been advocating an attack.

"No, Marshal, this is too risky! You are the backbone of the Federation, we can't let you make any mistakes! I..."

Marshal Kyle raised his hand to interrupt him.

"This is an order, just execute it."

There was no unnecessary nonsense, no unnecessary body language, and even the tone of voice did not fluctuate at all.

However, just this simple sentence immediately made everyone present shut up.

Everyone present, including Admiral Trey, who had been emotional just now, stood at attention and saluted neatly, loud and clear, in unison.

"Yes!"
