The weak prince's queen

Chapter 3 Traveling through time?

"Miss, why haven't you woken up yet? You have been in a coma for several days." A delicate woman muttered, her tone full of worry and anxiety.

"Madam, why are you here?" The woman suddenly saw a middle-aged woman dressed in gorgeous clothes walking towards her not far away, followed by several servants.

"I came to see if Xue'er has woken up?" the lady asked, her voice soft but majestic.

"Madam, the young lady hasn't woken up yet. Please save her." The girl knelt down quickly, crying and speaking, tears rolling down her face like beads from a broken string.

"Of course. If Xue'er doesn't wake up, we can't explain to Prince Jin. Madam Liu, go and ask the doctor to come and take a look." The lady frowned and ordered.

Chu Xiyue heard these conversations in a daze, but her consciousness was still a little fuzzy. She tried hard to open her heavy eyelids, and everything in front of her gradually became clear.

"Miss, Miss, you're awake!" The girl was so excited that she was incoherent. She held Chu Xiyue's hand tightly, tears sliding down her cheeks and wetting her clothes.

"Miss? What Miss?" Chu Xiyue looked around with a puzzled look on her face, as if she was very confused by the title. She rubbed her head and looked at the unfamiliar environment around her, her heart filled with anxiety and fear.

"Who are you?" Chu Xiyue looked at the strangers around her in horror. They all stared at her with strange eyes, making her shudder. She tried to stand up, but suddenly felt a splitting headache, as if she had been hit by a heavy hammer. She groaned in pain, "It hurts... My head hurts..."

"Doctor, go take a look." The woman beside her anxiously ordered. Chu Xiyue struggled to raise her head, trying to see the situation clearly, but the severe pain made it impossible for her to concentrate.

"Who are you? What are you doing? Get out!" Chu Xiyue was so frightened that her face turned pale and she shouted in a trembling voice. She had never experienced anything like this before and her heart was filled with helplessness and fear.

"Go up and hold her down, and let the doctor see what's going on. Xue'er and Prince Jin's wedding is coming soon, and nothing must go wrong." The woman said seriously.

After hearing the order, several servants quickly took action and strode forward. Their footsteps were heavy and powerful, as if foreshadowing the upcoming tense situation.

Chu Xiyue was held tightly by the servants. She tried to struggle, but her body was too weak to resist these strong servants. She felt her strength gradually disappear as she was firmly controlled.

The doctor hurried forward and carefully examined Chu Xiyue's wound. He scrutinized every detail with a professional eye, his brow furrowed, lost in thought. Then, he reached out to feel Chu Xiyue's pulse, feeling it beat. After some diagnosis and deliberation, the doctor finally turned and reported to the woman.

"Madam, this young lady suffered a severe blow to the head and is seriously injured. But fortunately, there are no signs of life-threatening. As long as she takes good care of herself, I believe she will recover soon." The doctor's voice was calm and composed, giving people a sense of trust.

After hearing this, the woman breathed a sigh of relief and a look of relief appeared on her face.

"That's good. As long as Xue'er is fine, I'll be relieved." The woman said, the worry in her tone slightly alleviated.

"Come, take the doctor downstairs to get some medicine." The woman continued to give the order, turning her eyes to the servant beside her.

"That's great, miss! I'm so glad that you're okay!" The woman next to her said happily, with joy shining in her eyes.

However, at this moment, the woman suddenly turned around and stared at the girl sternly.

"By the way, you have to take good care of the young lady and make sure she doesn't encounter any accidents again. Her marriage to Prince Jin is coming soon. If she has any mishap again, I will never let you go!" The woman warned viciously.

The woman was so frightened that her face turned pale as paper, her body trembling uncontrollably, beads of sweat forming on her forehead, and her eyes filled with fear and anxiety. She trembled as she replied, "Yes, ma'am, I will do my best to take good care of the young lady. Please rest assured."

The woman nodded in satisfaction, the sharpness in her eyes softening slightly, though still icy. She turned and left the room with a group of servants. They followed closely behind, their footsteps echoing in the corridor.

Finally, two servants stopped in front of the door, standing on either side of it, like two impenetrable fortresses. Their faces were expressionless, their eyes were stern, their hands tightly grasped with weapons, always on guard.

"Miss..." the woman called softly, cautiously stepped forward and asked with concern, "Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell?"

Chu Xiyue waved her hand and said tiredly, "You...you go out first and let me be quiet."

The woman nodded, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes, but she still obediently retreated. She gently closed the door, leaving Chu Xiyue sitting quietly by the bed.

Chu Xiyue watched everyone leave, then immediately jumped out of bed and rushed to the mirror. She widened her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror carefully.

"This is not my face?" Chu Xiyue couldn't help but reach out and pinch her cheek while observing. After feeling the real touch, she realized that this was not a dream.

"Did I travel through time? Such a ridiculous thing actually happened to me!" Chu Xiyue muttered to herself in shock, her heart filled with disbelief and confusion.
