Heart Stealer

Chapter 100 You Don’t Need to Thank Me

After Zhang Sufang returned to the Jing family from Xiao Tuobang's house, she went upstairs to change into simple clothes, and then went to the kitchen to help wash dishes, rinse pots and mop the floor.

She was busy for a while and finished all the work. She went back to her room and was about to go to bed.

Just then, someone knocked on her door.

Zhang Sufang frowned and walked to the door in confusion.

She opened the door and saw Jing Tianxin again.

Zhang Sufang's expression changed immediately, and a hint of displeasure flashed in her eyes.

Since she started working at the hotel, she felt that she had a way out and no longer felt humble in front of Jing Tianxin.

Zhang Sufang looked up at Jing Tianxin and said coldly, "Master Jing, do you have anything else to do so late?"

Jing Tianxin didn't seem to care about her attitude. He said with a smirk, "Do I have to have something to come to you for?"

Zhang Sufang didn't want to have any more entanglement with Jing Tianxin.

"I'm sorry, Master Jing. If there's nothing else, I'll rest first." After saying that, she turned around and prepared to close the door.

Jing Tianxin pushed the door open with one hand, his face gloomy and uncertain, as if hiding endless anger.

Zhang Sufang was startled by his actions. She took a few steps back and looked at him warily.

Jing Tianxin asked with resentment, "Sufang, did you smile happily when you saw Xiao Tuobang today? Why do you have such a sullen face when you see me?"

"Jing Tianxin, what do you mean by this?" Zhang Sufang's voice was filled with anger. "Who I laugh with is none of your business."

"Why is it okay?" Jing Tianxin took a step forward and approached Zhang Sufang, "You are my woman, you can only smile at me."

"I'm not your woman." Zhang Sufang raised her chin and looked straight into Jing Tianxin's eyes. "We broke up a long time ago."

Jing Tianxin's eyes became even gloomier, "Break up? I didn't agree."

He grabbed Zhang Sufang's wrist, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her lips.

Zhang Sufang struggled, but Jing Tianxin was too strong and she couldn't break free at all.

At this moment, Zhang Sufang used all her strength to bite Jing Tianxin hard.

Jing Tianxin let her go in pain.

"How dare you bite me?" Jing Tianxin covered his lips and stared at Sufang.

"Jing Tianxin, don't mess around!" Zhang Sufang looked at him with lingering fear, "If you do this again, I'll call for help."

Jing Tianxin sneered, "Go ahead and scream, and see if anyone will come to save you."

After saying that, he pounced on Zhang Sufang again.

Zhang Sufang quickly dodged Jing Tianxin's hug, picked up the vase on the table and threw it at Jing Tianxin.

"Bang!" The vase shattered to the ground and blood flowed from Jing Tianxin's forehead.

"You're crazy!" Jing Tianxin touched his forehead, looked at the blood on his hands, and glared at Sufang.

Zhang Sufang's heart was beating fast, and she gasped for breath. "Don't come over here, or I'll hit you again."

Jing Tianxin was stunned. He didn't expect Sufang to resist like this.

He originally thought that Zhang Sufang was still the woman who let him control her, but he never expected that she had developed her own temper.

"Okay, Sufang, you are awesome." Jing Tianxin said, turned around and left Zhang Sufang's room.

Zhang Sufang leaned against the door, slowly slid down to the ground, and tears flowed uncontrollably.

Zhang Sufang sat on the ground, crying.

The relationship between her and Jing Tianxin has completely broken down. She decided to leave the Jing family and start her own life anew.

The next morning, Zhang Sufang woke up early before the sun rose completely.

She got up quietly, packed her luggage carefully, and prepared to leave the Jing family quietly.

Just as she was about to step out of the room, Aunt Mei, the servant of the Jing family, suddenly ran upstairs in a hurry.

Aunt Mei's face showed a trace of worry and anxiety that was hard to conceal, and her steps seemed a little flustered.

She walked quickly to Zhang Sufang and said anxiously, "Miss Zhang, it's bad. Grandpa Jing's old illness has come back. He doesn't recognize anyone now. Please go and see him."

Zhang Sufang was shocked when she heard Aunt Mei's words.

She thought of the care and love that Jing Tianxin's family had given her. Although there were many conflicts and misunderstandings between her and Jing Tianxin, at this moment her heart was driven by a strong emotion.

She nodded without hesitation, then followed Aunt Mei downstairs and walked towards Grandpa Jing's room.

When she walked into the room, the sight before her made her heart tighten.

I saw all the Jing family members gathered around the bed, and everyone's face was full of worry and anxiety.

Jing Tianxin stood at the head of the bed, staring at his grandfather quietly, his eyes full of helplessness and grief.

Sufang slowly walked to Grandpa Jing's bed, her eyes fell on Jing Tianxin's haggard and painful face, and she couldn't help but feel a deep pity.

She called softly, "Grandpa Jing, how do you feel?"

When Grandpa Jing heard Sufang's voice, he slowly turned his head. His eyes were a little blurry, but he seemed to still recognize her.

He smiled faintly and said, "Sufang, you're here. I want to eat buns, but they won't buy any for me."

Zhang Sufang nodded quickly and said softly, "Grandpa Jing, don't worry, you need to rest well now. When you recover, I will definitely buy you some buns."

After hearing what Zhang Sufang said, Grandpa Jing's eyes flashed with gratitude.

He nodded gently, then slowly closed his eyes again.

The Jing family's kindness to Zhang Sufang made it impossible for her to leave at this time.

She decided to stay and take care of Grandpa Jing wholeheartedly until his condition improved.

Zhang Sufang turned to Mrs. Jing and said, "Mrs. Jing, Mr. Jing, don't worry, I will take good care of Grandpa Jing. You should also have a good rest and don't worry too much."

When the Jing family heard Zhang Sufang's words, they all nodded to express their gratitude.

Under Zhang Sufang's careful care, Grandpa Jing's condition gradually improved and his memory slowly recovered.

This made the Jing family feel relieved, and their gratitude to Zhang Sufang was beyond words.

Mrs. Jing noticed that there was a small piece of gauze on her son Jing Tianxin's forehead.

She walked to Jing Tianxin and asked with concern: "Tianxin, what's wrong with your forehead? Why is there gauze on it?"

Jing Tianxin looked at her mother and pretended to be calm and said, "Mom, it's okay. I accidentally bumped into the wall last night and got a little skinned. I'm fine now."

Mrs. Jing couldn't help feeling distressed after hearing what Jing Tianxin said.

She gently stroked his forehead and comforted him, "Does it hurt? You have to be careful."

Zhang Sufang couldn't help feeling a little guilty when she thought about what happened last night.

She looked at Jing Tianxin, wanting to say something, but didn't know what to say.

Jing Tianxin noticed Zhang Sufang's expression. He turned his head to look at her, a gentle light flashing in his eyes.

He whispered to Zhang Sufang, "Sufang, thank you for taking care of grandpa. I know I may make you uncomfortable sometimes, but I am really grateful to you."

Zhang Sufang couldn't help feeling touched after hearing Jing Tianxin's words.

She lowered her head and said softly, "Master Jing, you don't have to thank me. I just did what I should do."

Jing Tianxin sighed secretly. It was obvious that Zhang Sufang was still angry with him and refused to forgive him.
