After Hua Sheng hung up the phone, she sat in a corner of the cafe and cried.

My heart ached and I felt nauseous. I quickly ran to the bathroom and vomited violently, and all I could vomit was bitter water.

"It's okay, I'll just go to the pharmacy and buy some medicine. Boss, can I take a day off today?" Hua Sheng was very nervous at the moment, as her leave had been postponed for many days.

"Do you want me to take you home? I'm worried about you like this." The proprietress knew that this shop was secretly bought by the big shot to let this little girl experience life. She was just an employee. She had to take good care of the little girl. If anything happened, she would be the one to bear the consequences.

"Boss lady, I'm fine. I'll just go back and rest for a while." Hua Sheng's face was pale, not sure if he was vomiting or scared.

After rejecting the shopkeeper, Hua Sheng walked alone to a nearby pharmacy. Her mind raced, her mind preoccupied with the word "pregnancy" the shopkeeper had mentioned. Back home, Hua Sheng waited anxiously in the bathroom for the results. Seeing the two clear lines on the pregnancy test stick, her hands began to tremble, and the test stick fell to the ground, breaking in two, just like her broken heart.

She collapsed on the ground, the man's face constantly reappearing in her mind. She recalled the brief sweet moments they had shared, but now it all felt so heavy. Hua Sheng didn't know what to do. If she told him, would he think she was deliberately using the child to tie him down? If she didn't tell him, what would she do next? Ouyang Hanyu went to pick up Hua Sheng after get off work, and the boss's wife told Ouyang Hanyu about Hua Sheng's situation. Ouyang Hanyu hurriedly drove back to the villa and went straight to the third floor to his room. However, Ouyang Hanyu couldn't find Hua Sheng after searching around, so he picked up the phone and called Hua Sheng.

"Sheng'er, where are you?" Ouyang Hanyu couldn't wait to ask as soon as the phone was connected.

"I'm almost at the villa!" Hua Sheng spoke weakly. He had spent the whole afternoon sitting on a bench near the pharmacy.

Hearing that Hua Sheng was almost at the villa, Ouyang Hanyu felt relieved. Not long after, Hua Sheng dragged her tired body into the house. Ouyang Hanyu walked quickly to her and saw her red and swollen eyes, which made him feel distressed.

"Sheng'er, what's wrong with you? Are you sick?" Ouyang Hanyu asked with concern.

Hua Sheng looked up at him, hesitant to speak, and finally just shook his head. Ouyang Hanyu felt that something was wrong, so he pulled Hua Sheng to sit on the sofa and said softly: "No matter what happens, you can tell me."

"It's okay! I just feel stomach upset and a little tired. I want to go to my room and take a nap." Hua Sheng just wanted to be alone, so she broke free from Ouyang Hanyu's hand and stood up.

"I'll take you to the hospital." Ouyang Hanyu also stood up, picked up Hua Sheng and walked out.

"No, I've already been to the doctor. He said I'm fine and prescribed some medicine for me to take on time." Hua Sheng panicked. She couldn't go to the hospital. She struggled to get down and lied that she had been to the doctor.

"Are you really okay? You went to the hospital alone." Ouyang Hanyu asked suspiciously. The little girl could go to the hospital by herself.

"Really. I'll show you the medicine prescribed by the doctor!" In order to make Ouyang Hanyu believe it, Hua Sheng went to get some stomach medicine she bought casually.

"Okay! Didn't you just tell me that we should go to the hospital immediately? Now I will send my little patient back to the room and hug her neck." Ouyang Hanyu coaxed the sick Hua Sheng, but he still had doubts in his heart and always felt that something was wrong with the little girl.

"Yeah!" Hua Sheng hugged Ouyang Hanyu's neck and buried her head in his shoulder. Ouyang Hanyu's broad shoulders made her feel warm, and she rubbed them greedily.

Ouyang Hanyu felt the little girl's dependence and smiled. He lifted her up and carried Hua Sheng to the room to rest with his strong arms.
