Sheng Xiao Han Yu

Hua Sheng slept until noon, her stomach growling with hunger. She supported her aching waist and went to the bathroom to take a shower. The mottled marks on her body showed how crazy Ouyang Hanyu had been last night, even on her thighs and insteps. Hua Sheng was still blushing when she thought about how Ouyang Hanyu had not spared any place to do such embarrassing things last night. After a simple shower, she felt much better and went downstairs to find something to eat.

"Miss, you're up. I'll go serve you some food. You must be starving." Mrs. Wu was just hesitating whether to go upstairs to call Hua Sheng when Hua Sheng came down.

"What delicious food did Mrs. Wu make? I'm almost starving." Hua Sheng was lying on the table waiting for Mrs. Wu to feed him. He was so hungry that he drooled at the thought of food.

"Now that you're here, drink some soup to replenish your body. I made your favorite braised pork, steamed fish, and stir-fried green beans." Mrs. Wu looked at the marks on Hua Sheng's neck and smiled ambiguously.

"Mrs. Wu, I'm fine now. You don't have to make nourishing soup for me every day. We can just eat the same thing. I'll go serve the dishes." Hua Sheng was focused on eating and didn't notice Mrs. Wu's expression.

"Just sit down and drink the soup. I'll serve the dishes." Mrs. Wu held Hua Sheng down and didn't let her move. The young master had tortured the little girl severely last night.

"Thank you, Mrs. Wu. I'll help you wash the pot later." Hua Sheng felt uneasy having Mrs. Wu serve him like this, so he thought he should do some work himself.

"Why are you washing the pot? If you do, I won't have anything to do. You were exhausted yesterday, so take a good rest today." Mrs. Wu said this very politely, referring to yesterday, not last night. She went to the kitchen to bring out the dishes and put them on the table. Hua Sheng drooled at the sight.

"I didn't do any work yesterday. You did it all..." Hua Sheng suddenly thought of last night and stopped talking.

"Eat quickly, you look so greedy." Mrs. Wu served Hua Sheng some rice and handed it to her, asking her to eat.

"Mrs. Wu, you eat too. What are you going to do today?" Hua Sheng ate with relish, thinking about helping Mrs. Wu with the work later.

"You take a rest today, I'm going out for a while. When the young master left, he specifically asked me to take good care of you, so I can't let you work anymore. If you are bored, go for a walk in the flower fields. There are a lot of aunts weeding in the flower fields today." Mrs. Wu said to Hua Sheng with a smile.

"Uncle left again?" Hua Sheng had been so hungry that she had forgotten about Ouyang Hanyu. Only now that Mrs. Wu mentioned him did she remember him. She felt bad. Even though he had just left, she missed him terribly.

"When the young master left, he told you to stay here for a few more days. He'll come to pick you up when he's almost done with his work, and he won't have the heart to wake you up in the morning." Seeing that Hua Sheng's mood suddenly turned bad, Mrs. Wu hurriedly explained.

"I know, Mrs. Wu, you eat too." Hua Sheng stopped mentioning Ouyang Hanyu and pretended to be happy while eating.

After lunch, Mrs. Wu left. Seeing Hua Sheng was in a bad mood, she offered to take her out. Hua Sheng wasn't in the mood to go out, so she went upstairs and lay down on the bed.

Feeling very tired, lying in bed but unable to fall asleep, Hua Sheng found her phone and wanted to call Ouyang Hanyu.

Flipping the pillow revealed a card and a note. Hua Sheng picked up the note, which read: Sheng'er, I'm going home first. I heard you and Mrs. Wu made some money yesterday. You worked really hard. You even sold some cakes—very impressive! I put a reward card on it for you. Buy whatever you want. You were great last night! I'll pick you up later. I missed you even before you left. What should I do?

Hua Sheng shyly pulled the quilt over her head and laughed secretly under the quilt.

As Ouyang Hanyu was leaving that morning, he thought about sending her a message. He realized she didn't have a habit of using her phone. He wondered if his message might get lost in the mess. So he wrote a note and tucked it under her pillow, along with a limited-edition unlimited credit black card. Yesterday, Mrs. Wu told him she and Hua Sheng had landed a wedding photography gig in the garden, and the girl was thrilled. They hadn't paid her in ages, and he wondered if her meager salary was enough.

Ouyang Hanyu thought about finding some work for them in the next day or two when he got home so that the little girl wouldn't be bored all day.
