Qingsheng had really become more stable. He no longer forced Ranmo to bathe with him, and when they slept at night, they still slept in the same room, and he didn't joke about asking Ranmo to sleep with him.

After they fell asleep, Ranmo was awakened by a noise. He opened his eyes and looked over to find Qingsheng lying on the bed, rocking from side to side, still shouting something.

Ran Mo was startled. He must be dreaming. He used to have nightmares all the time. Could he be dreaming of something bad?

Ranmo quickly got out of bed and walked to Qingsheng's bedside. He saw that his eyes were closed, his forehead was covered with sweat, and he was still shouting "Kill, kill". Ranmo gently shook him to wake him up.

Qingsheng woke up from his dream and breathed a sigh of relief. Ranmo asked with concern if he was okay. Qingsheng looked at her and said nothing, but just held Ranmo's hand in his palm.

Later, he moved his body inwards again, motioning Ranmo to lie down with him. Then he turned sideways, hugged Ranmo and fell asleep again.

When they woke up in the morning, Ranmo asked Qingsheng if he had dreamed last night. Qingsheng recalled that he had dreamed, but he could not remember the dream clearly.

The only scene he remembered was that he suddenly caught sight of his mother amidst the vast army. He was just about to ride his horse towards her when he got tripped by something under his feet and fell headfirst in front of his horse...

Ranmo understood that Qingsheng hadn't fully recovered from the stress of the battlefield, and that missing his mother was the reason for his bad dream. He comforted him, saying that perhaps he was tired during the day and that drinking some hot milk at night would help him sleep better.

Qingsheng glanced at her and said, "I don't want milk, as long as you stay by my side at night. Tonight I will put the two beds together, just like last time in Miaofeng Mountain."

Ran Mo was stunned. It seemed like he still hadn't grown up enough. She tapped Qingsheng's forehead with her finger. Then she jumped out of bed and went to wash up.

Qingsheng did as he said and took Ranmo to his mysterious place.

They first took a horse-drawn carriage to the outskirts of the city. After passing through a landscape of vibrant flowers and green willows, they entered a barren, rocky mountainous area. They then crossed a mountain pass on foot, and the view suddenly opened up.

Ranmo looked up and was immediately amazed. Before him was a field of Buddhist caves. Countless caves, large and small, had been carved into the cliff face, each housing one or more Buddha statues. The atmosphere was solemn and awe-inspiring.

Qingsheng looked at her, as if asking if this place could truly be called a mysterious place. He then told her it was called the Thousand Buddha Caves.

Ran Mo admired him and pulled him into the winding stone path, walking towards the Buddhist cave.

The Buddhist caves are large and small. The small ones can be admired from outside, while the large ones can be visited inside. The Buddha statues are lifelike and have a majestic and sacred atmosphere.

Among them is a Buddha statue that looks very similar to the Vairocana Buddha that Ranmo had seen in the Longmen Grottoes, with kind eyes and boundless Buddhist teachings.

Ranmo and Qingsheng bowed three times before the Buddha statue. They each made a wish. After leaving the cave, Qingsheng asked Ranmo what wish he had made. Ranmo refused to tell him; the wish was for the two of them...

I quickly stopped thinking and just said that everyone can make a wish. It would be amazing if two people could make the same wish.

Then, he skipped along the stone steps to find the next cave. Qingsheng smiled knowingly and followed him.

After this journey, and with Qingsheng's explanation, Ranmo learned that the Great Moon Kingdom also held Buddhism in high esteem, and its national policy in this regard was relatively relaxed and tolerant.

After bidding farewell to the Thousand Buddha Caves, Qingsheng took her to the nearby racecourse on the way back. Right next to the gravel mountain, there was a vast expanse of lush green grassland.

This is where local people raise horses and also offers recreational activities such as horse riding and horse racing.

Qingsheng was not surprised by horses, and he mainly wanted to play with Ranmo. He found a medium-sized white horse from the owner and wanted to teach Ranmo how to ride.

Ranmo often saw horses, donkeys, and camels in the town. But she had never ridden one, and she wasn't very brave. She had once been chased and injured by a horse.

Qingsheng told Ranmo that everything would be fine with his protection. He then jumped onto the white horse that looked strong and docile, and held out his hand to Ranmo.

Ran Mo wanted to refuse, but then he thought that Qingsheng had even been on the battlefield, so he couldn't be so inferior as to not even dare to ride a horse. So, with the help of the groom, he grabbed Qingsheng's hand and sat on the horse.

Qingsheng said, "Hold on tight," and started the horse slowly forward. Ranmo was nervous at first, but then he slowly relaxed, leaning against Qingsheng's chest, holding the reins with him.

After strolling around twice, Qingsheng quietly put the reins into Ranmo's hands, said "hold it tight", patted Ranmo's back, and slid off the horse, leaving Ranmo to ride alone.

Ranmo was startled and quickly said no. The horse continued to trot around the arena at a leisurely pace. Qingsheng shouted from the other side, "Don't be nervous, hold on to the reins."

Ranmo had to calm his mind, and fearing to startle the horse, he kept a slow and gentle rocking posture, following the direction of the horse's movement, and achieved coordination. He was actually able to steer the horse forward on his own.

Qingsheng was clapping and cheering her on. Ranmo grinned, still wanting him to come up and help her.

Suddenly, for some unknown reason, the horse reared up, let out a long neigh, and then sped forward. Ran Mo screamed in fright.

Seeing the situation was not good, Qingsheng immediately ran over, seized the reins at the right moment, stepped lightly on the stirrup, jumped on the horse, and sat behind Ranmo again.

Ranmo was panting. Qingsheng comforted her. He then wrapped his arms around her, tugged on the ropes and clamped the horse's belly to steady it. He then trotted for a bit, stopping on a flat surface. After jumping off the horse, he took Ranmo's hand and helped her down.

Ranmo bent over and took a few deep breaths, repeatedly saying it was enjoyable. Qingsheng smiled and helped her to a bench to rest. He asked her if she enjoyed riding.

Ranmo nodded. Suddenly, she recalled the dream she had the night Qingsheng left, and her face flushed.

Qingsheng thought she was tired from riding. He asked the groom to bring tea and wild fruit. The two of them drank tea and ate fruit while admiring the mountain scenery and the galloping horses. It was a unique experience.

By the time they returned to the mansion, the sky was already full of stars. Not daring to disturb the others, they quietly returned to their room to rest. They had originally planned to leave for Xiaoyue City tomorrow, but they were exhausted from playing today and could only stay one more day.

After they finished washing up, Ran Mo was about to go back to her bed to rest when she saw Qing Sheng glaring at her from the side, looking unhappy.

Ran Mo knew what he was thinking, but was unwilling to give in, so he turned around and walked to the fish tank to feed the fish some night food.

Qingsheng walked over to her and said softly, "The fish has been fed, so it won't starve. I'm really sleepy right now. I just hope I don't have any more dreams tonight."

As he said that, he took the fish food from her hand and put it down, then he hugged Ran Mo and went to bed to sleep together.

Fortunately, he slept well, and since he was tired during the day, he slept peacefully with Ranmo in his arms. I don't know if he dreamed again, but I slept peacefully and relaxed that night.

The next day, I didn't dare to travel far away. Apart from having dinner with my parents, siblings and I at home, I went abroad for a short stroll and then came back to pack my bags.

In the evening, he told his father that he planned to leave early the next morning by the first carriage from the post station, and he did not want to disturb everyone's rest so he did not come to say goodbye.

The lord was busy with official duties all day and did not interfere too much in such trivial matters. He only asked the two of them to take care of each other and help each other improve.

The mistress and her brother also spoke kindly of their care. After thanking them profusely, the two returned to their rooms to rest as soon as possible.
