Qingyun's Love: Tiger Boy Falls in Love with a Pretty Lawyer
Chapter 64 Swimming Together
The two strolled along the lakeside. The refreshing water vapor wafting from the surface brought a sense of peace and tranquility. This side of the lake was bustling with tourists. Along the plank road, vendors selling candied haws and sugar figurines filled the area, creating a lively atmosphere.
I walked to a pavilion and saw a crowd of people gathered around a sign. It turned out to be the boat ride area. Pedal boats and flatboats were available. You could ride with a group or row by yourself.
Both were quite interested in boating. They immediately called a small boat, and after a brief explanation from the boatman, they climbed aboard, took up the oars, and began paddling slowly, then faster. The boat plunged into the lake like a silver sword.
The further you get to the center of the lake, the clearer the water becomes, and the shimmering waves become more vivid. Looking back at the shore, the trees, flowers, and people walking by are like a vivid landscape painting.
Ranmo and Qingsheng sat opposite each other, paddling in unison. Once they reached calm waters, they stopped paddling and simply took in the scenery. From time to time, they glanced at each other, smiles plastered across their faces.
Suddenly, a downpour came. The raindrops were small, but they sparkled in the sunlight, like a shower of stars. Qingsheng told Ranmo that this was a sunshower and would stop after a while. It was a delight to have encountered it.
When the rain stopped, their faces were shimmering with glistening water droplets. After paddling for a while longer, they headed for shore. Once they reached shore, their hearts were at peace.
The two continued walking. They came across a vendor selling flower and grass headbands. Many adults bought them for their children. The green grass bands, dotted with small wildflowers, were truly beautiful.
Qingsheng chuckled. He ran over to buy a hat and put it on Ranmo's head. He said it made him look more like a fairy boy. Ranmo let him do what he wanted, feeling quite pleased.
Qingsheng said again, "I'll take you somewhere." He pulled her into a fork in the road and continued walking forward.
After walking for a long time, there were few people ahead. At the end of the road was a large and lush reed bed. The emerald green and flexible reed leaves wrapped around the golden and plump branches.
After passing through the reeds, we came to an open grassy slope. Here, the grass was green and the trees were blooming, which made it a secluded place.
Ranmo thought he was going to rest here. Qingsheng asked her, "Can you swim?"
Ran Mo thought to herself, "You're right." She once taught herself to swim, and her journey from a landlubber to a master in the water was something she was quite proud of. She didn't seek a teacher, but rather studied various instructional materials and videos, and practiced in the pool. In seven days, she mastered the breaststroke, and in a month, she learned all four strokes. Even she hadn't expected it to be so fast.
Ranmo was itching to try her luck and was about to agree to join Qingsheng in the water, but then she suddenly realized something was wrong and stopped herself. There were no tight swimsuits prepared here, and there were no changing rooms either, so she decided to just watch the others swim.
More importantly, swimming in the wild is risky. Qingsheng might as well give up. She'd swum in the ocean before, thinking she knew how to swim, but those skills were nothing in the turbulent sea.
She was almost swept away by a dangerous rip current, but was rescued by an older brother. Since then, she has never dared to swim aimlessly again.
Qingsheng saw Ranmo's worry and said it was okay. He had been here many times and the pond was not deep. Then he began to untie his belt and urged Ranmo to do the same.
Ranmo had no choice but to plead that she couldn't swim. Qingsheng said he could teach her. Ranmo then said she was still a little afraid of wild ponds like this, and that it wouldn't be too late to practice in a safer pool later. Qingsheng didn't force her.
Qingsheng quickly took off his clothes, leaving only the last piece of clothing. He suddenly stopped, looked at Ranmo and smiled, "Can I take it off too?" He seemed to have remembered that Ranmo needed to ask for his opinion on some things.
Ran Mo answered directly: "No." Qing Sheng curled his lips helplessly and went into the water wearing a slightly sloppy little outfit.
The sun was shining, the water was a perfect temperature. Qingsheng exclaimed in delight as he swam in the water. Then he displayed his swimming prowess, navigating the waves like a whitebait, enjoying himself immensely.
It was the little dress that looked cumbersome and heavy after getting wet, which held him back a bit. It looked like it was about to fall off Qingsheng's buttocks as he paddled, which was quite funny.
At that moment, a cold wind blew across the water. Qingsheng suddenly cried out, "Ah!" and then frantically paddled, seeming to sink.
Ran Mo was startled when she saw this. Oh no, could it be a leg cramp? Without thinking much, she took off her outer clothes, jumped into the water, and paddled towards Qingsheng.
Qingsheng's face paled slightly, but he still waved Ranmo back, telling her not to jump in the water. Ranmo swam quickly to him, paddled with one hand, and with the other, grabbed Qingsheng's arm, lifting it upwards and pulling him toward the shore. Qingsheng also exerted his strength to match her strokes.
Fortunately, they were not far from the shore and the water was calm. The two finally paddled to the shore with great effort, climbed up, lay on their backs on the grass slope and breathed deeply.
After recovering from the shock, Ran Mo looked at Qing Sheng with a hint of anger, as if he was asking for trouble for not listening to him.
Qingsheng felt a little ashamed, like a child who had made a mistake, and apologized and thanked Ranmo. Then, he looked at Ranmo with a slightly aggrieved look and said, "You lied to me that you couldn't swim. I think you swim better than me."
That was the truth. In an inland area like Dayue Country, there weren't many children who could swim. And she had swum in rivers and oceans before.
For Qingsheng, today's close call was a good lesson, so he wouldn't be careless in the future. And she was quite proud to be able to show off a little in front of Qingsheng, so he wouldn't underestimate her.
She wanted to let him know that she was completely worthy of him. Ah, why did she have such thoughts again? She couldn't help but feel a little hot in her face.
Qingsheng lay on the grassy slope, drying himself off. His small shirt was still damp, though. Ranmo, for one, had even more clothes on him. The wet clothes were unpleasant to the touch.
Qingsheng looked around and said to Ranmo, "Let's go to the reeds over there." Ranmo asked him why he was going there. Qingsheng said he was familiar with the place and had often gone there to play.
Ran Mo asked in confusion, "Where are we going? What are we going to do?" Qing Sheng suddenly blushed and told her not to ask any more questions and just go with him.
Ran Mo had no choice but to follow him into the reeds, hoping to find a secluded place to hang out his wet clothes.
Qingsheng pushed aside the dense reed leaves and walked forward. After a while, he saw a small open area inside. The reeds on the ground were lying at an angle, as if they had been flattened by someone, forming a reed bed like a big bed.
The area is surrounded by reeds, so you can't see outside. The sun shines in from above. It's a good place to dry clothes and sunbathe.
Qingsheng turned around and gestured to Ranmo. Without another word, he simply lay down on the reeds in a spread-eagle position.
Then he remembered something, sat up, and in front of Ranmo, he took off his soaked little dress and threw it on the reeds beside him. Then he lay down with his arms and legs spread wide, closed his eyes and basked in the sun.
This set of movements was completed as smoothly as flowing water. Ran Mo didn't even have the chance to blink. She simply stopped thinking about it and just treated it as a free movie.
She couldn't be as carefree as Qingsheng. She found a corner to sit down, took off as much of her clothing as she could and hung it up to dry, leaving only a pair of shorts and a drawstring behind. She also covered her chest with a small handkerchief.
Qingsheng rested for a moment, opened his eyes, and glanced at Ranmo. Then, like a loach, he rolled and crawled over to Ranmo's side. He lay flat on his back, saying nothing.
A gentle breeze brushed against their cheeks and bodies, leaving their skin tingling. Unknown birds flew through the reeds, and small insects crawled back and forth in the grass.
Qingsheng suddenly reached out and grabbed Ranmo's hand. Ranmo was startled and asked him what he was doing.
Qingsheng closed his eyes and said, "Don't you like touching my abdominal muscles?" Then he put Ranmo's hand on his strong and smooth abdominal muscles.
Ran Mo's heart was beating fast. "I do like you, but when did I ever tell you that?" He was so confident. But he did have the capital to be confident.
Ran Mo breathed a sigh of relief and didn't pull his hand back. This guy's abdominal muscles were becoming more and more toned and tight.
Qingsheng held her hand and rubbed it on his abdominal muscles. His body trembled slightly.
Ran Mo turned his face away. A streak of drifting clouds high in the sky, entwined with the dazzling, strange halo of the sun...
