Jiang Man hurried to the president's office. Before leaving get off work, she called Su Heng, but he seemed busy and only said "Come to my office after get off work" before hanging up.

Jiang Man was a well-behaved girl, so she didn't dare to disturb him at work, so she waited quietly at the door. The secretary across from her saw her and asked respectfully, "Do you need to tell the president you're here?" Given that Su Heng had specifically instructed her last time, the secretary still attached great importance to Jiang Man, the president's wife.

Others may not know, but Jiang Man is very clear about her identity. She quickly said, "No, no, I'll just wait here."

In the office, a few low scolding voices occasionally emanated from behind the heavy door. "Don't tell me this is the plan you came up with! Even the interns could do better than you!"

"Take this garbage away and redo it. If you can't do it well, you'll all be sent to the sales department to work as salespeople."

Although she was not the one being scolded, Jiang Man still shuddered involuntarily.

Soon, the door was pushed open and several supervisors walked out dejectedly. Seeing Jiang Man standing at the door, they all looked a little embarrassed. "Madam," they greeted her softly, then lowered their heads and quickly left.

Jiang Man looked through the open door and saw Su Heng sitting at his desk, staring at the proposal they had just submitted, his face gloomy. It seemed as if he had forgotten their agreement.

As the door closed automatically, Jiang Man withdrew his gaze, stared at his toes, and continued to wait quietly at the door.

Su Heng was a complete workaholic, and working late into the night was commonplace for him. Thinking of how he almost single-handedly supported such a large company, Jiang Manman felt sorry for him and didn't want to bother him anymore. But a subtle sense of loss inexplicably welled up in her heart. She wasn't sure if it was because he had forgotten their agreement, or if...

Just then, the office door slowly opened.

Jiang Man looked at the figure walking out of the door in surprise.

Su Heng, dressed in a neat suit, one hand casually tucked into his trouser pocket, the other holding his coat. After briefly speaking to his secretary, he walked straight towards her. "Let's go," he said softly.

Jiang Man hadn't expected him to finish work so quickly. After a brief pause, he quickly followed him and asked, "Can we not work overtime tonight?"

Stepping into the exclusive elevator, he gently pressed the down button, "Any time."

When Jiang Man heard this, he felt a little guilty.

Su Heng's gaze drifted casually over her. Standing at 1.65 meters tall, she looked incredibly petite next to him. She wore simple flat shoes, a sleeveless top paired with a long skirt, and a small shoulder bag, looking like a freshly minted college student. Her face was pure, as if easily seduced by the world's beauty, a stark contrast to her status as the wife of the Su Corporation's president. Yet, in his eyes, she seemed remarkably harmonious.

Feeling his gaze, Jiang Man looked up unconsciously and met his eyes as deep as a pool. He then calmly looked away. "Where do you want to eat?" he asked softly.

"A Hunan restaurant." Fearing he might be dissatisfied, Jiang Man quickly added, "I checked online. Everyone says their food is delicious. It doesn't matter if you don't like spicy food. They have some excellent vegetarian dishes."

"Then let's go to this one." His decision instantly dispelled her concerns.

Jiang Man secretly breathed a sigh of relief again.

For some reason, she always felt more nervous every time she was with him.

Arriving at the underground parking lot, she saw him walking towards a silver-gray car. She asked curiously, "Did you get a new car?"

"Yeah." He responded briefly, took out the key, unlocked the car, and sat in the driver's seat.

Jiang Man carefully looked at the gorgeous car and the eye-catching Maybach logo, and carefully sat in the passenger seat, fearing that she would accidentally scratch the paint. You know, even a small scratch on the car body would cost her a lot of money.

The car started slowly, and the engine made a low roar, like a beast that had just awakened.

"This car is very expensive, right?" Jiang Man asked in a low voice while looking at the interior.

As he drove out of the parking lot, he casually replied, "A little over three million."

Jiang Man was dumbfounded after hearing this. If someone else said this, it might be considered as showing off wealth, but Su Heng was different. Money was just a number to him, and he consumed only his mood.

Jiang Man immediately sat there obediently, not daring to move.

"Uh. Why do you want to change cars?" she asked curiously.

From her observation, Su Heng wasn't someone who sought luxury. He had a work car, and the black Bentley he drove privately was also new. There was no reason for him to upgrade so quickly.

A flash of disgust flashed across Su Heng's dark eyes, but he quickly hid it and slowly replied, "I don't like having the same taste as someone else."

Jiang Man was confused. She knew that Su Heng was not a person who would compare with others, but he spent millions to buy a new car just because he had the same taste as someone else.

Suddenly, she had a flash of inspiration. She remembered that Lu Ziyin was driving a white Bentley Continental! So the "someone" he was talking about was actually... Lu Ziyin?

She secretly glanced at Su Heng, the words she wanted to ask lingering on her lips, but she finally swallowed them back. Because, even if she asked clearly, what was the point? He hated Lu Ziyin for many reasons, and it wasn't necessarily because of her.

Jiang Man sat silently beside him, immersed in his own thoughts.

Su Heng drove the car skillfully, and only asked after he got on the road, "Address."

Jiang Man finally came to his senses, quickly took out his cell phone, found the address and told him.

Soon, the two arrived at the Hunan restaurant. As expected, it was packed with people, and even parking was hard to find. Su Heng was especially noticeable since he was driving a brand new luxury car.

Jiang Man sat in the car, feeling full of self-blame. "I'm sorry. I didn't expect there would be a parking space problem."

"It's okay." He replied calmly, looking around for a parking space.

Finally, they found a parking space in front of a bank across the street. After parking, the two had no choice but to cross the street on foot. Because it was rush hour, the road was congested with traffic, and there was no zebra crossing. Their several attempts to cross were forced back by speeding vehicles.

Jiang Man stood awkwardly on the side of the road, blaming himself in his heart, wondering why he hadn't made adequate preparations before choosing the location?

"let's go."

The deep and magnetic voice came to my ears again, carrying with it an unquestionable power.

Immediately afterwards, Jiang Man's hand was gently held by a warm big hand.
