Lamia walked to the door and knocked. Soon there was the sound of heavy footsteps and Uncle Vernon opened the door.

"Oh, you damn freaks again!" He took a few steps back quickly and panicked, making way for Lamia and Hermione.

They didn't have time to deal with this stupid Muggle. Harry's current situation was still unclear, so the two of them didn't even look at him and walked towards the stairs as soon as they entered the room.

Uncle Vernon only started to curse at the stairs after they had gone up, as if that was the only way he could vent his fear.

Lamia and Hermione knocked on Harry's door several times, but no one opened it, and they couldn't help but get nervous.

Hermione stomped her feet anxiously, "Harry, open the door, it's us." She knocked on the door hard and shouted at the same time.

There was a burst of hurried footsteps inside, extending all the way to the door. Harry finally opened the door, "Lamia, Hermione, why are you here?" Harry seemed to have just woken up, with his glasses crookedly perched on his nose, and was looking at the two of them confusedly.

"Harry, I'm glad you're okay. Lamia and I were worried to death." Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, holding her chest with lingering fear.

"Lamia, are you worried about me?" Harry's eyes suddenly lit up and the corners of his mouth rose with joy.

It has to be said that Harry's ability to grasp key words has improved significantly. He completely ignored Hermione. Lamia's mouth twitched, but in the end she said nothing and just nodded.

"I'm fine." Harry was even more excited. "Come in, I was waiting for you to write to me, and now you're here."

"Letter? Ron and I wrote you letters, especially Ron. He sent you many letters, but you didn't reply. Ron thought something happened to you, so he wrote to us, so we came to find you." Hermione had just walked into the room and heard what Harry said. She started explaining without even sitting down.

"How could that be? I've never received a letter." Harry moved the table behind him away in surprise. There was nothing on it except homework books and quills.

"This is so strange. We clearly sent you a letter." Hermione was also surprised. She rummaged through the table but found nothing.

The two of them didn't notice Lamia's strange expression. She looked around the room. She was sure that there were other creatures nearby. Last time she thought they were just other animals, but after visiting Malfoy Manor, she could be sure that this creature was an elf.

"Don't worry, I think I know." Lamia recalled Draco's gestures and flipped her fingers nimbly. "House-elf who intercepted Harry's letter, as a wizard, I command you to 'appear immediately'!"

Lamia had just finished speaking when Harry looked towards his bed. A house-elf with big ears and green eyes appeared out of nowhere above his bed. Harry immediately thought that these were the same eyes that had looked at him from outside the garden hedge that morning.

"Respected Miss Wizard, Dobby obeys your call." The elf slid down from the bed and bowed deeply, its long and thin nose touching the carpet, but it was obvious that it was reluctant.

"You are the one who intercepted my letter?" Harry angrily grabbed the worn pillowcase that Dobby was wearing, and the holes on it were torn.

"Harry Potter!" Dobby screamed excitedly. Harry was startled and let go of his hand instantly. "Dobby has always wanted to meet you, sir... It would be an honor..."

Harry stepped back awkwardly, avoiding Dobby's grasp. "Give me back my letter."

Dobby: "Harry Potter, don't be angry... Dobby had hoped... that if Harry Potter thought his friends had forgotten him... Harry Potter might not want to go back to school..."

Dobby blinked his big eyes and pulled out a thick stack of letters from his old pillowcase. There were neat handwritings from Hermione and Lamia, scribbled letters from Ron, and even one from Hagrid.

Harry reached for the stack of letters, but Dobby quickly moved away.

"Give it back to me, Dobby."

Harry yelled.

"No, Dobby cannot give him Harry Potter's letter. Dobby must ensure that Harry Potter cannot return to Hogwarts. Harry Potter must stay in a safe place."

"I belong to Hogwarts, give it back to me, Dobby."

Dobby: "No, there is a conspiracy... The most terrifying thing will happen in Hogwarts this year..."

It lowered its voice and began to tremble all over.

"What conspiracy?" The three of them looked at Dobby at the same time, and the latter looked at them and choked, "Dobby didn't mean it, bad Dobby, bad Dobby." He banged his head against the wall frantically.

"Stop it, Dobby." Hermione hurriedly reached out to pull Dobby, and Harry also pulled it with his hand.

"I order you not to hurt yourself!" Lamia made the same gesture again, and Dobby stopped.

Green eyes as big as tennis balls filled with tears, "Dobby stopped, but Dobby can't tell you, Dobby can't tell anyone."

Harry asked several times but didn't get any useful information from Dobby. He looked at Lamia and Hermione for help.

"Let me do it, maybe I know them better." Lamia came out. Dobby shrank back when he heard that, as if he was frightened by the aura of Lamia.

"Dobby, you don't have to answer. Just blink once for yes, twice for no. And don't hurt yourself under any circumstances. Okay?"
