After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 45 Clearance (2)
Seeing that Harry's condition was getting worse and Dumbledore had no intention of showing up, Lamia could only turn into a bat and fly through the mirror to Harry's side.
When she arrived, Harry had already fallen into a coma, Hermione and Ron were anxiously looking for an exit, and Dumbledore was so sure that Lamia would come to save Harry that he didn't even set up an emergency exit.
Lamia didn't want to show her face in front of the trio. She couldn't be famous as a Slytherin along with Harry and the others. If Dumbledore's plan really succeeded, she would become a poor victim in such a fierce struggle between the two colleges.
Lamia flew to Harry's shoulder and bit his neck gently. Its fangs pierced the skin and injected the liquid inside. Harry groaned softly and his heavy eyelids slowly opened.
Lamia took advantage of this opportunity to fly away quickly, and Harry only had time to see a black shadow flying past.
"Hermione, Ron." Harry came back to life, as if the person who had just fallen into a coma was another person.
"Merlin's stockings! You just scared me to death." Ron came over almost at the same pace, his socks covered in dirt. It seemed that he had tried to climb over the wall, but obviously failed.
"Harry, what happened just now? Why did you suddenly faint?" Hermione carefully touched Harry's forehead and found that everything was normal. Even his cheeks, which had turned red due to the sudden rise in body temperature, had returned to normal.
"I don't know either, but fortunately everything is fine." Harry actually had a guess in his mind, but he felt that since Lamia didn't show up herself, she definitely didn't want them to know, so he was smart enough not to express his guess.
Lamia sat back in front of the mirror and nodded in agreement. This was why she chose to save Harry - he always knew what she was thinking.
After the crisis was resolved for the three people, they continued to move forward. After successfully opening the door, they found that the room consisted of a huge real-life wizard chessboard.
On the other side, Dumbledore walked in wearing a blue hat and pajamas. He yawned and was a little shocked to see Lamia, but he soon remembered everything: "Sorry, child, I'm so tired that I forgot you were still here."
Dumbledore walked naturally to the front of the table and poured himself a cup of fragrant hot milk. "Would you like another cup?" There was a white stain around his lips.
"No, sir, I think you should come and take a look. Your Harry seems to be in trouble." Lamia pointed into the mirror seriously.
Dumbledore was not worried at all, as if everything was under his control. He glanced at it and said, "Oh, it's really dangerous." Then he adjusted his crooked nightcap and said, "But I think Harry will do it. We should trust him, right?"
Dumbledore sat down on the sofa. Although he said this, his eyes never left the mirror, and he didn't even touch the hot milk in his hand.
Harry finally made his choice. Poor Ron was knocked to the ground and soon lost consciousness. Hermione was left there to take care of Ron, and only Harry continued to move forward.
Lamia glanced at Dumbledore, who seemed pleased with Harry's actions and took a sip of the cooled milk.
Lamia suddenly wondered if Dumbledore would kill her if he found out what she had done to Harry. Lamia didn't dare to think about it anymore. Based on what she had observed, Dumbledore would definitely do such a thing.
"What's wrong, child?" Dumbledore looked at the stunned Lamia in confusion. She had been staring at him for no less than three minutes. Dumbledore even touched his beard suspiciously, thinking that it was covered with candy crumbs.
"I'm sorry, sir." Lamia lowered her head.
The two stopped talking, their eyes drawn to the scene in the mirror. Harry had successfully arrived at the last room, and in front of him was Quirrell, wearing a turban.
Finally, Harry succeeded in burning Quirrell with his own blood beyond recognition. The strange face behind his turban flew out of his body as he disappeared and passed through Harry's body. At this moment, he only felt that he was swallowed by the cold.
Dumbledore had already prepared everything. He stood in front of the mirror and walked in at the right time. Lamia followed behind him, and the next second they appeared next to Harry.
Voldemort still ran away from under Dumbledore's wand, and Lamia, who was hiding behind Dumbledore, met a pair of blue eyes that were no longer clear. She was stunned for a moment, and Voldemort paused slightly, then turned into a wisp of black smoke and escaped.
Lamia was certain that the real Tom must be missing something. She had previously thought that the two Toms were exactly the same, but now she was not sure - there was confusion and anger in his eyes, but no possession.
Things were becoming increasingly confusing, but the most important thing now was of course Harry, who was lying unconscious on the ground.
Dumbledore was carrying Harry all the way to the hospital wing, where he was handed over to Madam Pomfrey.
Lamia followed Dumbledore, and just when she thought her mission was over, Dumbledore asked her to stay and look after Harry and Ron.
Lamia suspected that Dumbledore did it on purpose, just to get revenge for her not helping him hold Harry, causing him to sprain his waist.
In the ward, Hermione was leaning her head back and looking at Harry and Ron lying on the bed next to him. She seemed very tired, and the curly hair on her head looked a little wilted.
Just as Hermione was in a daze, Lamia sat down next to her quietly, "Hermione, I'll do it, you go back and rest." In order not to affect Harry and the others, Lamia deliberately leaned close to Hermione's ear and whispered, and the breath she sprayed made her itchy.
"Then I'll leave it to you, Lamia." Hermione yawned. She was indeed very tired. "If they wake up, you must tell me."
Her eyes were sincere, and Lamia couldn't refuse, so she nodded in agreement.
Hermione stood up from the stool, but her legs were numb from staying in the same position for a long time. She was about to fall to the ground if she wasn't careful. Lamia quickly supported Hermione's slender waist.
"Ah." Hermione cried out and hugged Lamia's shoulders tightly. The distance between them was shortened. Lamia felt the softness in her arms and for the first time had the urge to hug back.
But she restrained herself and withdrew her hand, and after steadying Hermione, she took a few steps back until the distance between them was widened again.
Hermione was slightly stunned, her cheeks burning uncontrollably, "Thank you." She covered her face shyly, not even daring to look into Lamia's eyes.
Lamia was afraid that Hermione would fall again, so she kept a safe distance and followed her until she disappeared into the Gryffindor Tower, then she returned to the hospital wing.
Harry inside had woken up at some point and was blinking his green eyes in surprise at Lamia who had walked in.
Lamia touched her nose inexplicably, feeling guilty, not knowing how much Harry had seen.
"Lamia, did you come here just to see me?" A smile appeared on Harry's slightly tired brows.
"Well, Harry, are you okay?" Lamia sat on the stool that Hermione had just left, which seemed to still have her body temperature.
"I'm fine, Lamia, I have something to ask you." Harry pinched the corner of the quilt and seemed a little hesitant, "Have you come to see me?" Harry didn't want to ask at first, but he was afraid that he was being too sentimental and was eager to prove his position in Lamia's heart.
"Yeah." Lamia knew that Harry was awake at the time and didn't intend to hide it.
Harry breathed a sigh of relief, his green eyes brighter, "Lamia, you don't know..." Harry began to narrate what had just happened, but he didn't know that Lamia had seen the whole thing.
Lamia kept looking at him intently throughout Harry's story, which gave him such satisfaction that Harry racked his brains to make the story longer, but he finished it by dawn.
Lamia: "Harry, are you hungry?"
"I'm hungry!" Ron, who had woken up at some point, shouted angrily.
Lamia and Harry looked over together. Ron had big dark circles under his eyes. "You guys have been keeping me awake since I woke up. Madam Pomfrey shouldn't let patients have caregivers." Ron exuded a strong sense of resentment.
"Ron, why didn't you tell us?" said Harry awkwardly.
"Merlin, only ghosts know how many times I said it, and you didn't hear a word!" Ron felt even more aggrieved and buried his head in the quilt.
Harry and Lamia looked at each other, they really didn't hear a word.
In the end, Ron was successfully coaxed by the six big chicken legs brought by Lamia.
But Ron still raised some issues to Madam Pomfrey, and in the end, Lamia, who could not hide her excitement, and Hermione, who had just arrived and looked confused, were kicked out.
It wasn't until the end-of-term banquet that Harry and Ron were released.
