After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 37 Backlash (1)
Tom said it with a smile, but Lamia got goosebumps for no reason. "Tom, I'm never going out to drink again. Can you let me go today?"
Lamia curled up in Tom's arms, not moving, but her red eyes were filled with silent sadness.
"Lamia, you shouldn't have left me." Tom put down his wine glass heavily and hugged the trembling girl tightly. He didn't dare to recall the pain that started to spread from his heart when Lamia didn't come back.
At first, Tom thought Lamia was just throwing a tantrum. After spending so many days together, he thought he knew her well enough.
So, he devoted himself to potion making, hoping that when Lamia returned, Professor Slughorn would praise him and allow him to join his club.
But even after the get out of class was over and the whole class was waiting for his potion, Lamia still hadn't returned.
"Tom, where's your potion? I saw you brewed it long ago." Slughorn walked to Tom's desk in confusion, and sure enough, he saw a bottle of an extremely perfect sobering potion. "I'm afraid even I can't make such a perfect sobering potion! Tom, you're a genius!"
Slughorn held up the silver-gleaming potion and said, "Classmates, there's no doubt that Tom's team takes first place!"
Thunderous applause broke out in the classroom, but Tom, the focus of the crowd, stared straight at the classroom door, and took a closer look at every person who passed by.
"Tom, as a reward, I will invite your group to a dinner on Saturday - the attendees are all famous or about to become famous in the wizarding world," Slughorn said. He wanted to see shock on Tom's face, but Tom seemed not to hear him, his attention completely on the door.
"Uh, Tom, I mean, you're the only group in the class that's qualified." Slughorn explained in disbelief, but Tom still ignored him. He could only look back at the other students in the class who were dumbfounded. "It's an honor, isn't it?" Slughorn walked up to the podium with a smug smile.
"That's all for today's class. Your homework is to write a short essay on how to make a sobering agent."
Slughorn said.
After all the students in the class had left, Tom turned around as if waking up from a dream, "Professor, I'm sorry." Tom bowed to Slughorn who was packing up his things on the podium.
As Tom walked out of the classroom, he immediately felt the connection between him and Lamia, but because of the distance, he couldn't even feel it vaguely.
He could only find Aurora venting her anger in the duel arena, "Where did Lamia go?" Tom suppressed the uneasiness in his heart and deceived himself that Lamia was bullied by Aurora, so she hid.
"I want to know too! A damn deserter, how could Slytherin allow such a Muggle to stay here? No, she shouldn't even stay in Hogwarts, she should be thrown out!" Aurora was so angry that her teeth were itching, and she threw the wand in her hand to the ground.
"I don't have time to listen to you. Let me ask you, where did Lamia go?" Tom's face suddenly turned dark, and a cold murderous intent enveloped him.
Aurora had never seen Tom like this before. In her memory, Tom should be handsome, elegant, noble, and powerful. How could he be such a... devil?
"Don't come over here. I don't know. She didn't come to the duel with me at all!" Aurora was so scared that she shrank to the ground, protecting her head with her hands, her face pale.
"Stay away from me in the future, ugly woman." Tom said this coldly, turned and walked in another direction. He had no plan at all, wandering around the street like a homeless child.
Tom searched floor by floor. He didn't know how long it took until he reached the end of the eighth floor, but he still couldn't find Lamia. Tom seemed to be tireless. Even after walking for so long, he had no intention of resting.
He searched the first floor bit by bit from the eighth floor, but there was still no sign of Lamia. Only he knew how cold his heart was, like swallowing a piece of ice in the dead of winter, and the biting cold enveloped his whole body.
Tom even wondered what he would do if Lamia didn't come back.
"I won't let you go, Lamia."
Tom concentrated all his magic power in his palm. A silver magic chain appeared faintly, and finally pointed clearly towards Hogsmeade. Then it quickly disappeared. No matter how much magic he exerted, it did not appear.
"Lamia, I will find you." Tom covered his chest which was in sudden pain, and his pale lips blossomed into a bright smile that was frightening.
Tom took out a bottle of demulcent and poured it into his mouth, his body gradually regaining strength.
Walking on the endless road, Tom's mind was full of how to punish Lamia so that she would be obedient.
"I should keep you locked inside me forever," Tom thought evilly.
Tom easily sneaked into Hogsmeade village. For a top student with excellent character and academic performance, this was nothing.
But Tom didn't know Lamia's exact location, so he could only go into shops one by one to look for her.
"Ding ding ding" the crisp sound of wind chimes rang out from the door frame, "Welcome." A kind voice came from inside. Unlike the cold temperature outside, the fireplace in this store made it warm inside.
"Excuse me, ma'am, may I ask if you have seen a silver-haired girl coming here?" Tom asked politely, his blue eyes clear and transparent.
Almost no girl can refuse such a handsome boy, even if she is married.
Mrs. Binris was sitting in front of the sewing machine. When she heard the sound, she adjusted her glasses that were loose on her nose and said, "I'm sorry, she probably hasn't been here." She frowned apologetically, as if she regretted not being able to help him.
"It's okay. I wish you a happy life." Tom smiled politely and was about to go to the next store. He turned his head and saw a dark red wizard skirt with gold edges hanging in the window. At just one glance, he seemed to see Lamia's deceptive eyes.
"Ma'am, could you please show me the dresses in the window?" Tom said, turning around.
"Of course, dear, it's my proudest work." Mrs. Binris rose from her seat without a trace of her previous weariness.
"You have good taste. Your lover will like it." Mrs. Binris took off the skirt swiftly.
Tom tried the skirt on himself, recalling Lamia's size. The skirt seemed to be tailor-made for her.
He was wearing a black robe today, which contrasted with the red dress beside him. The scene in the mirror was so comfortable, just like he and Lamia, a perfect match.
"My love, I hope it's not one-sided."
