After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 336 Puzzle (4)
During this period, Harry wanted to ask Lamia several times, but she never responded. When Harry limped past the window, Hedwig fluttered her wings lightly like a little ghost and flew in.
"You're back just in time!" Harry said grumpily as he saw it land lightly on top of the cage. "Put that thing down now! I've got work for you!"
Hedwig held a dead frog in her mouth and looked at him reproachfully with her large, round amber eyes.
"Come here," said Harry, picking up a small roll of parchment and a leather strap, which he tied to Hedwig's scaly leg. "Take these directly to Sirius, Ron, and Hermione. They must not return until they have long replies. If necessary, peck them repeatedly to make them write letters of appropriate length. Do you understand?"
Hedwig made a muffled sound, her mouth still full of frogs.
"Well, let's go," said Harry.
Hedwig set off at once, and as soon as she was gone Harry flung himself on the bed, still fully clothed, and stared blankly at the ceiling.
Lamia sighed. It was no use for Harry to write a letter, as they wouldn't tell him the truth either.
Harry believed that his friends would reply to him soon. They could not be indifferent to the attack of the Dementors. Maybe when he woke up tomorrow morning, he would see three thick letters full of sympathy for him and plans to arrange for him to be transferred to the Burrow immediately.
The thought relaxed him, and sleepiness came over him, drowning out all his thoughts.
Harry seemed to have ignored Lamia. Yes, she was the best at playing dead. No matter what others said, as long as Lamia didn't want to say it, she would never speak. Harry knew this, so he didn't expect Lamia to tell him the truth.
However, Hedwig did not return the next morning, and Harry stayed in his bedroom all day, only leaving to go to the bathroom.
Three times a day Aunt Petunia slipped two meals into his room through the little trapdoor Uncle Vernon had installed three summers ago, but they always ended up in Harry's stomach.
Every time Harry heard Aunt Petunia's footsteps approaching, he wanted to ask what was going on, but it was better to ask the doorknob than to ask her these questions.
The Dursleys never came into his bedroom except to bring him meals, and Harry saw no point in forcing himself to stay with them.
There would be no gain from making any more noise. It would probably only make him furious and he would be tempted to break the law and use magic, thus making the same mistake all the time.
This went on for three days, with some days Harry would be so restless that he couldn't concentrate on anything and would just pace around his bedroom, angry at all of them for making him suffer there.
Sometimes he was completely listless and would lie in bed for hours, staring blankly into space, terrified by the thought of going to the Ministry for trial.
Lamia hung on the window frame all day long, like a simple bat. Harry would go over to ask her every day, but Lamia never spoke a word.
Harry was worried that their ruling would be against him. What if he was really expelled and his wand was broken in two? What would he do? Where would he go? He could no longer live with the Dursleys all day as before, because he now knew another world, a world that truly belonged to him.
Every time he thought of this, Harry couldn't help but get up from the bed and pace around the room.
He couldn't help but touch Lamia, but her body was cold and she didn't move, let alone speak.
On the fourth night after Hedwig left, Harry was lying in bed in a listless state, staring at the ceiling, his tired mind almost blank, when Uncle Vernon walked into his bedroom.
Harry turned slowly to look at him. Uncle Vernon was wearing his best suit and looking very proud of himself.
"We're going out," he said.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"We—that is, your aunt, Dudley, and I—are going out."
"Okay," said Harry dryly, looking up at the ceiling again.
"You are not allowed to leave your room while we are away."
"Ok."
"Don't touch the TV, the stereo, or anything of ours."
"Row."
"Don't eat anything from the refrigerator."
"Ok."
"I'm going to lock your door."
"You lock it." Harry couldn't help himself, but he quickly lowered his head.
Uncle Vernon glared at Harry, obviously suspecting something was wrong with his obedience, but seeing nothing, he trudged out of the room and closed the door behind him.
Harry heard the key turn in the lock and Uncle Vernon's footsteps thumping down the stairs, and a few minutes later he heard the slam of a car door, the rumble of an engine, and the unmistakable sound of a car pulling out of the drive.
