After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 327 A New Beginning (7)
Those dark figures walked across the grass in front of Harry and Lamia. I wonder who they beat up this evening.
Turning around, Lamia suddenly noticed that Harry seemed very excited, quite like he wanted to have a fight with Dudley, and his whole body was saying: Come on! Turning around, cousin, I'm sitting here alone, come over and have a fight.
If Dudley's friends saw him sitting here, they would definitely rush towards him. So what would Dudley do? He certainly didn't want to embarrass himself in front of his friends, but he didn't dare to provoke Harry. Moreover, Lamia was watching beside Harry. Dudley would definitely not take action, but his friends were not sure.
After all, he was the only one among them who had witnessed Harry and Lamia's methods with his own eyes.
Harry seemed to have guessed that Dudley would do this, so he simply stood up and walked towards Dudley.
It was great fun for Harry to watch Dudley in this dilemma, to mock him, and to enjoy his helpless and uncomfortable look.
If anyone dared to hit Harry, that would be great, because the wand in his hand was not vegetarian, and Harry was eager to vent his frustration on these boys who had made his life a living hell.
But unfortunately, even though Harry was almost in front of them, they still didn't turn around and didn't see him. They were almost at the railing.
Harry was on the verge of standing up and yelling for them to come over so he could vent his anger, but Lamia reached out and held him back, and he had to suppress the urge to call them back.
Harry actually knew very well that picking a fight was not a wise move, and he must never use magic outside of school, otherwise he would be in danger of being expelled from school.
The sounds of Dudley's gang gradually faded away as they walked further and further down Magnolia Road and disappeared from sight.
"Now Dumbledore can rest assured that I will be as obedient as Sirius was before me," Harry said gloomily.
"Harry, this is right. My mission requires me to do this, and you are helping me." Lamia replied. How she hoped that the rest of her days could be spent like this, so that she would not have to be busy dragging Harry out of danger.
Harry walked to the swing, then got down and stood on the ground, straightening his body. Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon seemed to think that whenever Dudley showed up, it was time to go home for dinner. Any time after that time was too late.
Uncle Vernon had threatened to throw Harry's food in the trash if he came home after Dudley again, so Harry could only walk towards the playground gate with a sad face.
Magnolia Drive, like Privet Drive, was dotted with big, square houses with immaculately manicured lawns, owned by big, square men who drove spotless cars like Uncle Vernon's.
Harry walked quickly and halfway down Magnolia Road he saw Dudley's gang again. They were saying goodbye to each other at the entrance to Magnolia Crescent. Harry took Lamia into the shade of a large lilac tree and waited.
Obviously, Harry still couldn't help it. Lamia sighed. What else could she do? Of course, she had to go all the way to the end. The worst that could happen was to tie them up and let Harry vent his anger.
"He squeals like a pig, doesn't he?" said Morken, and the others laughed rudely.
"Nice right hook, D," Peel said.
"Tomorrow or at that time?" Dudley asked.
"Outside my house. My parents are going out tomorrow," Gordon said.
"See you then," said Dudley.
"See you later, Dudley!"
"Goodbye, Brother D!"
Harry waited until everyone else had gone away before stepping out from under the tree. The voices had faded once more, and he turned the corner onto Magnolia Crescent.
He walked quickly and soon caught up with Dudley, who was humming a tuneless little tune as he walked leisurely.
"Hey, Brother D!"
Dudley turned around.
"Oh," he muttered, "it's you."
"When did you become 'Brother D'?" Harry asked.
"Shut up!" Dudley roared fiercely and turned away.
"That's a cool name," Harry said, grinning as he and his cousin walked forward in step. "But to me, you'll always be 'Dada Baby.'"
"Shut up!" Dudley said, his fat ham hands clenched into fists.
"Don't those boys know what your mother calls you?"
"shut up!"
"You didn't tell her to shut up. 'Baby' and 'Daddy's sweetheart,' can I call you those names?"
Lamia almost had to get to know Harry all over again. What he said was completely different from the Harry in her memory. It turned out that he had been holding it in for too long. He said so many words in one breath. This was probably the most Harry had said since the summer vacation.
Dudley was silent. He was trying hard not to hit Harry, and it seemed to take all his self-control.
"Shut up!" Dudley finally yelled.
"Who did you beat up tonight?" Harry asked, his smile fading. "Another ten-year-old boy? I know you beat up Mark Evans two nights ago—"
"He asked for it," said Dudley grumpily.
"Oh, is it so?"
"He insulted me."
"Really? Did he say you looked like a pig walking on two legs? Hey, that's not an insult, Dada, it's the truth."
Harry's words were getting to Dudley's nerves more and more, and he looked like he was about to lose his temper.
The muscles in Dudley's jaws twitched.
Harry felt extremely satisfied when he saw how angry he had made Dudley. He felt as if he had transferred his frustration to his cousin. This was his only way of venting.
Lamia had come out of her hiding place and was in front of Harry. If Dudley made any move, she would stop him immediately. As for what measures she would take, that would depend on the severity of the situation. Maybe she would kill him directly.
They turned into the narrow lane where Harry had first seen Lamia, a shortcut between Magnolia Crescent and Wisteria Walk.
The deserted alley, with its high walls, was much darker than the two streets it connected to. On one side of the alley was the wall of a garage, on the other a high fence, so that the sound of their footsteps was muffled.
"You think you're a man just because you have that thing, don't you?" Dudley said after a few seconds of silence. He was very unconvinced, but he knew in his heart that he could not beat Harry at all.
"What the hell?" Harry pretended not to understand.
"That—the thing you hid." Dudley was furious, raising his fist and then lowering it.
Harry's smirk returned.
"You look stupid, but you're not, Dada. I think if you were really stupid, you wouldn't talk while walking."
Harry drew his wand and saw Dudley squinting at it, his fleshy cheeks shaking.
"You can't use it," Dudley said quickly. "I know you can't. You'll get kicked out of that freak school you go to."
"How do you know they haven't changed the charter, Brother D?"
"That's impossible," Dudley said, but his voice was uncertain and, if you listened carefully, there was a slight tremor in it.
Harry laughed softly, realizing how timid his cousin was.
"If you don't have that thing, you won't have the guts to fight me, will you?" Dudley asked angrily.
"What about you? You need four guys backing you up to beat a ten-year-old kid. You know that boxing title you brag about? How old is your opponent? Seven? Eight?"
"He's sixteen, I tell you," said Dudley fiercely. "He was unconscious for twenty minutes after I knocked him out, and he weighs twice as much as you do. Just wait, I'm going to tell Dad you pulled that thing out—"
"Running home to Daddy, eh? And his little boxing champion is afraid of Harry's pesky wand?"
"You're not so brave anymore since you got home, are you?" sneered Dudley.
"I'll be home soon, Dada baby, are you going to let your mother throw a frying pan at me?" Harry mocked.
"That's not what I meant!" Dudley shouted.
He stopped, and Harry did the same, staring at his cousin.
There was a strange smug look on Dudley's big face. Lamia felt something was wrong. Dudley seemed very confident. "You'll get scared if you lie down in bed."
"What should I be afraid of, a pillow or something?" Harry still had that mocking expression on his face.
"I heard it last night," Dudley gasped. "You were talking in your sleep."
"What did you say?" Harry asked again, but his heart suddenly felt cold and sank. He had returned to the cemetery in his dream last night.
Dudley laughed gruffly, then uttered a sharp, whimpering sound. "Voldemort, who is Voldemort—your friend?"
"Shut up!" Harry said instinctively, but his mouth suddenly felt dry and he knew Dudley was telling the truth - how else would he know about Voldemort?
Lamia was also surprised. She didn't hear Harry talking in his sleep at all. Could it be that she couldn't hear any sound when she was asleep?
"Dad! Save me, Dad! He's coming to kill me, Dad! Woo woo!" Dudley took this opportunity to hurried home.
"Shut up!" Harry whispered. "Shut up, Dudley, I'm warning you!"
"Mom and Dad, come and save me, he called Voldemort, they want to kill me together, he took out that thing, save me!" Dudley's voice became louder.
"Shut up, Dudley, I told you to shut up!" Harry forced Dudley back against the wall, while pointing his wand squarely at Dudley's heart.
Harry felt his fourteen years of hatred for Dudley coursing through his veins now—he would have given it all up.
If only he could strike quickly and efficiently, cast a powerful curse on Dudley so that he would crawl back home like a reptile, unable to speak, with two tentacles sprouting from his head.
"Don't mention this again," Harry snapped. "Got it?"
