After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 276 Project 2 (1)
"We all know that the ideal solution is to Transfigurate Lamia and Harry," said Hermione, "but we won't learn this until sixth year. Right now, Lamia and Harry can't completely transform successfully. If they do, the Transfiguration Spell will most likely kill them!"
Hermione ruffled her hair in annoyance. She felt that she read too few books, otherwise she wouldn't be at a loss for solutions and have to watch her good friend fall into such a crisis.
"That's right, Hermione, but I don't really want to turn my head into a submarine or other underwater equipment. It's too weird." Lamia couldn't imagine what it would be like to have a huge submarine on her neck. It was simply too terrible.
"Maybe I can attack someone in front of Moody, so that he will transform me..." Harry said despairingly. It was obvious that he had fallen into a vicious circle of thinking, thinking about how to transform.
"Although... Harry, why don't you tell me the method Professor Moody told you?" Hermione paused and said seriously again, "Never mind, I think it's better for you to find a way yourself, such as learning a breath-holding spell."
"Hermione, let Harry speak, maybe it will help." Lamia said after thinking for a moment.
"Actually, he didn't say anything very useful. He just told me to start with herbs and think about what herbs would allow me to breathe underwater," said Harry, waving his wand back and forth in the air to confuse Professor Flitwick and the others from gossiping.
"Herbs?" Hermione fell into deep thought, but unfortunately, she couldn't think of any useful solution for the time being.
"Why don't we go to the library and check? Maybe a book somewhere tells us how to do it. For example, wizards who live by the sea always have to eat fish." For the first time, Ron proposed an answer that everyone was satisfied with. Hermione nodded repeatedly and even gave Ron an approving look.
Ron was so excited that he forgot that the wand in his hand was controlling the cushion. He was so scared that he quickly continued to wave his wand.
In this way, Lamia and her companions once again buried themselves in studying those dusty tomes, looking for a spell that could allow people to survive without oxygen. Lamia felt that she would soon get bored of the library and never want to come in again in her life.
Ron also had the same feeling. He regretted the suggestion he had just made because it would make him lose the opportunity to play badly. Ron buried his face in the books that were taller than he was, feeling a headache.
Lamia and Harry, Ron and Hermione spent their lunchtimes, evenings and weekends here, searching tirelessly – Harry even asked Professor McGonagall to write him a note granting him access to the restricted section, and he even asked Madam Pince, the vulture-like librarian, for help.
However, they found no way that Harry could stay underwater for an hour and still live to tell his story.
Now, Harry was overwhelmed by the same nervousness he had felt before, and he found it difficult to concentrate in class. Harry had always taken the lake lightly, thinking of it as part of the grounds.
Now, whenever he approached the classroom window, the lake would attract his attention, that vast iron-gray, gloomy lake surface, its dark and cold bottom as far away as the moon.
Just like the last time I faced the Horntail, time was slipping away again, as if someone had cast a spell on the clocks and made them run very fast.
"Why does he want to know the exact date of our next weekend at Hogsmeade?" Ron asked, apparently about something quite insignificant.
"I don't know," said Harry dryly. "Let's go... to Care of Magical Creatures."
Lamia didn't know whether Hagrid was trying to make up for his mistake with the Blast-Ended Skrewts, or because there were only two of them left, or because he wanted to prove that if Professor Grubbly-Plank could do it, Hagrid could do it too.
Anyway, when Hagrid got back to class, he continued Professor Grubbly-Plank's lesson on unicorns. It turned out that Hagrid knew as much about unicorns as he did about trolls, although he obviously found it disappointing that unicorns had no tusks.
Today, he actually caught two unicorn cubs. Unlike adult unicorns, the cubs were pure gold.
Parvati and Lavender were beside themselves with delight when they saw them, and even Pansy Parkinson had to try hard to hide how much she liked them.
"The cubs are easier to spot than the adults," Hagrid told the class. "They turn silver around two, and get their horns around four. They don't turn pure white until they're adults, which is around seven. They're more trusting when they're young... and less averse to boys... Come closer, and you can pet them if you like... and give them a few of these sugar cubes..."
"Are you all right?" Hagrid asked in a low voice, stepping aside as everyone gathered around the unicorn cub.
"It's okay," said Harry.
"It's nothing, Hagrid," Lamia said as well.
"Oh, but you look a bit nervous, don't you?" said Hagrid.
"Kind of," said Harry.
Lamia nodded.
"Don't worry," said Hagrid, patting Harry's shoulder with a hand so heavy that Harry's knees buckled.
Then he turned to Lamia and Harry and said, "Before you went to deal with those two dragons, I was worried, but now I know that as long as you set your mind to it, there is nothing you can't do. I am not worried at all. You will definitely succeed. Have you solved the clue, huh?"
Lamia nodded, and so did Harry, but even as he nodded he had a ridiculous urge to confess that he had no idea how he was going to survive an hour at the bottom of a lake.
Harry looked up suddenly at Hagrid—perhaps Hagrid sometimes had to go underwater, to deal with the animals in the lake? Since he took care of everything else on the grounds—
"We'll pass it, we will," Hagrid said in a hoarse voice, and patted Harry's shoulder again. Perhaps he felt that it was not gentlemanly to treat a girl like this, so Hagrid had not touched Lamia's shoulder to encourage her.
But no one noticed his little trick. Harry's mind was full of how to pass the level. "I know. I can feel it."
Neither Lamia nor Harry had the heart to wipe the joyful, confident smile from Hagrid's face.
The two could only pretend that they were very interested in the little unicorns and went to pet the two cubs with their classmates.
By the evening before the second task, they still hadn't come up with anything, and Harry felt like he was trapped in a nightmare.
They knew very well that even if a miracle happened and a suitable spell was discovered, it would be difficult to master it overnight.
