"Dad, why is Crouch looking at Lamia like that?" Ron tugged at Mr. Weasley's robe and asked in his ear after Crouch left.

"Ron, this is not our business," Mr. Weasley whispered, glancing at Lamia.

Lamia noticed Mr. Weasley's gaze. It seemed that the wise wizard had discovered her whereabouts.

After Bagman sent his men to investigate her, Lamia knocked the poor wizard unconscious on the road while no one was paying attention.

Originally, Lamia wanted to make up an ordinary identity for herself, so that Bagman would completely give up his attempt to find out about her. However, Lamia felt that this alone would not convince Bagman at all. People like him who have been in a high position of power for a long time would trust their own judgment more.

So, Lamia gave herself an identity as the heir of a hidden family. However, no one knew about this hidden family. To be on the safe side, Lamia deliberately only made up the family name and no other information. In this way, no information could be found, which could verify the authenticity.

Sure enough, after the wizard subordinate came back, Bagman easily believed the information he had found out about Lamia's identity.

That's why he tried to smooth things over for Lamia.

However, all this is in the past. Lamia doesn't want to get along with this group of calculating old guys at all. She now prefers to be with Hermione, Ron, Harry, Ginny, and Luna. The simple minds of the children really make her not need to think too much.

As the afternoon wore on, a feeling of excitement spread over the camp like a tangible cloud, and at dusk even the still summer air seemed to tremble with anticipation.

As night fell like a curtain over hundreds of eagerly awaiting wizards, the last traces of pretense disappeared: the Ministry seemed to be succumbing to the inevitable, no longer fighting against those who were clearly using magic. Signs are popping up everywhere.

Every few steps, vendors would apparite from the sky, pushing carts filled with strange and bizarre gadgets.

There were illuminated rosettes—green for Ireland, red for Bulgaria—that screamed out the players' names; tall green hats adorned with shamrocks that danced in the wind; a Bulgarian sash with a lion that actually roared; flags of both countries that played their respective anthems when waved; miniature Firebolts that actually flew; and collectible figurines of famous players that walked around in the palm of your hand, looking very proud.

"I saved my pocket money all summer just for this." Ron said to Harry while buying souvenirs as the children who had come together to go shopping leisurely walked through the vendors.

Lamia, Hermione and other girls were busy choosing nice souvenirs for Mrs. Weasley and were discussing it heatedly. Hermione wanted to bring back some practical items that Mrs. Weasley could use, such as the athlete statue that could automatically clean up the dishes.

But Luna felt that she should bring back something for Mrs. Weasley that she liked, rather than considering its practicality. Wouldn't that mean she would be buying something for everyone?

However, in the end, they still failed to reach a conclusion. Moreover, the souvenirs were sold too expensively and too quickly. They did not have time to discuss the price with the boss before they were bought.

Compared to the girls' disappointment, the boys were much happier. Ron bought a dancing shamrock hat and a large green rose-shaped badge, but he also bought a small statue of the Bulgarian Seeker Viktor Krum. The miniature Krum walked back and forth in Ron's hand, frowning at the green badge above him.

"Look! This is so fun!" Ron shouted, holding the statue in front of Lamia and Hermione, showing it off proudly.

Before Lamia could say anything, Hermione pulled her to the stall on the other side, where all the items sold were souvenirs of the Irish team.

Ron curled his lips in displeasure. "What a bunch of clueless people! How could Ireland possibly beat Bulgaria? Krum will definitely win as long as he plays."

"Wow, look at these!" Harry rushed over to a cart and shouted in this direction. His voice was loud enough that even Ginny and Luna, who were talking excitedly, could hear it.

Lamia looked over. The cart was piled high with what looked like binoculars, but covered in all sorts of odd knobs and dials. "Omni-scope," the wizard vendor enthusiastically offered. "You can replay footage... in slow motion... and it'll even flash up analysis of the match if you need it. Deal—ten Galleons a pop."

"I wish I hadn't bought this." Ron looked at his dancing shamrock hat and then looked at the Omni-scope with envy.

"Buy six," Harry said to the wizard without hesitation.

"Don't - don't bother," said Ron, his face flushing crimson. He knew that Harry, having inherited a small fortune from his parents, was much richer than he was, and he was always very sensitive about that fact.

"What are you thinking about, Ron? This is of course your Christmas present this year. Also, this is for Lamia, Hermione, Ginny..." Harry held a bunch of telescopes in his arms and distributed them to everyone in order.

"But this is too expensive." Ron looked at the telescope stuffed into his arms with some confusion, although he liked it very much.

"Then I won't give you any gifts for ten years!" Harry smiled and put the telescope back into Ron's hand and winked at him.

"Fair enough," said Ron, grinning.

A brand new telescope was also stuffed into Lamia's arms. The wizards' skills were quite sophisticated, and the telescope was made to perfection.

"Thank you, Harry," said Hermione. "I'll buy everyone a copy of the match plan. Look, it's over there—"

Their wallets were now considerably lighter, and they returned to their tents. Bill and Charlie had also bought green sports badges, and Mr. Weasley carried an Irish flag. Fred and George had no souvenirs at all, so they gave all their gold coins to Bagman.

At this time, a deep and deep gong sound came from somewhere far away in the woods. Immediately, thousands of red and green lanterns bloomed on the trees, lighting up the road leading to the arena.

"It's about time!" said Mr. Weasley, looking as excited as everyone else. "Come on, let's go."
