Chapter 211 Dark Shadow
Just as Hermione was anxiously looking for Lamia, she had already arrived at another tent. She did not leave the team on purpose, but because she saw someone who should not be there.
Lamia followed the man into the tent, but as soon as she entered, she was dumbfounded. She had been thinking about turning into a bat to hide her body, but the next second, Lamia decisively gave up.
Because there is really no need for this.
The tent was a completely different world. She felt like she had walked into a low-end version of Malfoy Manor.
Lamia felt that such a wizard was not short of money at all, so why did he deliberately pretend to be a poor man who had to come to the venue early?
All Lamia could think was that he was hiding his identity.
Lamia was not very sure at first, but now she is completely certain that this person is definitely the Death Eater she had seen with Tom. Although she didn't know why he appeared again, Lamia still followed him.
Lamia felt a headache when she thought that Tom was still waiting for her in her dream. She promised Tom that she would go back, but she did not go back at the time they had agreed on.
Lamia really couldn't bring herself to throw herself into the fire.
The black shadow suddenly moved. Lamia quickly suppressed his emotions and followed the black shadow carefully. He was still very cautious when he was outside, but once he was inside, he relaxed completely.
"How's the master's business going?"
Lamia hid behind and heard clearly that it was the man speaking.
"Don't worry, I'm here to help. Just wait and see!"
The two of them just had a brief exchange and didn't stay for too long. Lamia quickly opened the tent and walked out before the man came out.
As soon as she went out, before she had time to think about it, Lamia saw Hermione rushing in the distance, shouting Lamia's name loudly.
Lamia then remembered that she had not told Hermione where she was going, and now she was in trouble.
Lamia waved quickly, "Hermione, I'm here!" She didn't dare to delay for a moment and walked quickly to Hermione.
"Lamia, are you okay? I was so worried sick." Hermione panted and checked Lamia's whole body before speaking.
"I'm fine, Hermione, I forgot to tell you." Lamia let Hermione hold her in her arms, "I just saw someone I know."
"What?" Hermione didn't hear clearly. She was busy brushing the crumbs off the edge of Lamia's robes.
"It's okay, I just had something to do." Lamia thought about it and decided not to tell Hermione that the Death Eaters she saw in her dream appeared here.
Firstly, she hadn't figured out these people's purpose yet, and telling Hermione rashly might hurt her. Secondly, Lamia also wanted to handle it herself, and she wanted to see what these people were going to do.
"Hey, Hermione, Lamia, the tent is ready. Dad asked me to call you over." Ron said, waving from a distance.
Lamia then realized that Hermione had not told Mr. Weasley that she had left.
"I don't think you'll go far. I'm sure I can find you." Hermione seemed to see what Lamia was thinking.
About fifteen minutes later, Lamia and Hermione arrived at the tent that Mr. Weasley had just set up.
They were two crooked double tents.
Lamia felt that no one looking at the tents would guess they were built by wizards.
However, Harry didn't seem to understand why Mr. Weasley only brought two small two-person tents, considering that once Bill, Charlie, and Percy arrived, there would be eleven of them. Hermione seemed to have noticed this as well, and she looked at Harry with a puzzled look.
Lamia noticed Hermione's gaze and whispered something in her ear, and then Harry was left alone with his confusion.
At this moment, Mr. Weasley got down on all fours and crawled into the first tent.
"It might be a little crowded," he called out, "but I think everyone can squeeze in. Come and see."
Lamia was the last to bend down and slip under the tent flap.
As Lamia entered, she saw Harry with his mouth open, his jaw dropping in surprise.
Lamia shook her head. This place was not even a bit worse than what she had just seen. She seemed to have walked into an old three-bedroom apartment, with a bathroom and a kitchen.
Mismatched chairs were covered with crocheted covers, and the air smelled pungently of cats.
This is like the room of an old lady living alone.
After a quick look around, Lamia left, following the two girls to their tent, which was a little smaller than the boys', but also cozy and big enough for the three of them to live in happily.
After packing their luggage, they were called outside by Mr. Weasley.
"It's only temporary, boys." Mr. Weasley wiped his bald head with a handkerchief. "I borrowed it from Perkins in the office. Poor fellow, he's got a lumbago and can't camp anymore."
Mr. Weasley held the dusty kettle in his hand and peered into it. "Also, children, we need some water, preferably something you can drink directly."
"There's a tap marked on the map the Muggle gave us," said Ron, who followed Harry into the tent, seemingly oblivious to the unusual space inside. "It's on the other side of the camp."
"Well, then, you and Lamia, Harry, and Hermione will fetch us some water, and then—" Mr. Weasley handed over the kettle and two stew pots they had brought with them, "—the rest of us will go gather some wood and get the fire started, shall we?"
"But we have a stove," said Ron, "why can't we just -"
"Ron, don't forget the Muggle safety procedures!" said Mr. Weasley, his face full of excitement. "When real Muggles camp, they always have an open fire - I've seen it."
Lamia's face was filled with anguish. Why should she follow this group of people to do this? There was obviously an easier way, like she could just wave her hand and the fire would start.
But Mr. Weasley obviously wanted to experience the life of Muggles, so he strongly refuted Ron and Harry's suggestion to use magic.
The few of them could only carry their kettles and walk to the other side of the camp. On the way, Lamia kept an eye out for any suspicious people, just in case the Death Eaters suddenly attacked them. After all, this was not a dream, but Lamia knew that Voldemort wanted to kill Harry.
